I used Tietze for the first time today, May 16th. We had a water leak in the front yard. It turned out that there was a leak associated with the pressure regulator valve. Willie came out with his assistant David to fix it and it only took about 1 hour. Willie was awesome. He is very friendly and informative. I give him 10 stars. With that said, for what they did, parts and labor, was way way over-priced.

Nothing against Willie, the price quote came from the office. If we ever have any more plumbing issues we will call Tietze and ask for Willie, but they need to reexamine their pricing.

I had a leak in the foundation pipes in the laundry slab. It was very stressful and I did not know who to call. I have used yelp reviews before, but I did not find them very reliable. To make a decision about what company to choose I relied on two colleagues who recommended Tietze plumbing. They were awesome! The company was very responsive and sent a plumber soon.

The first guy had to open 4 holes on my walls to find the leak. It was not easy but once he identified the problem, the company sent 2 additional plumbers to cap and reconnect my pipes. They had to work 3 full days. They were courteous and explained the problem very well. I was giving estimates before the work was done and even options. Everything was fixed perfectly and I have no more leaks. Considering the amount of work they did, I felt the price was not terrible ($4000).

I wish I had had the same luck with the guy who came to fix the drywall and paint afterwards! I strongly recommend this company. Not sure why some people gave them bad reviews. The guy who fixed my pipes was Willie.

Great company to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful. Technician Robert is highly recommended! Fast, reliable, and pricing is very reasonable! I recommend using them for all of your plumbing work!

Update: We have had them out several times again since my initial review, and they have done a good job on everything for us. They have been quick to come out when needed, and have worked hard to give us what we wanted. Travis in particular, has been very good.

I broke a T fitting CPVC pipe in the attic. I could have fixed it myself but this would have required a day without water and $24 worth of parts. 1 T-fitting and 12 inches of CPVC plastic pipe and 3 joiners. The tech arrived and completed the work in 54 minutes. The tech did a great job on the repair. The bill was $1279.00! So let's figure this. $1279.00 minis $24 in parts equals $1255.00.

So I think $1200 an hour is a bit excessive. The repair was straight forward and readily accessible on the floor of the attic. The invoice just stated "water repair-rejuvenation " $1279.00. That's just ridiculous. I understand they are running a business but come on now.

After 3 call to SAWS and getting nowhere, I found Tietze plumbing on next door app. They were able to come out, assess and fix my leaking under ground pipe in the same day for a fair price! Travis was very responsive, knowledgeable, and overall great to deal with. He quickly identified the issue and repaired it just as quickly. He educated us on how often that particular leak normally happens and how to identify it in the future before it gets as bad as it was today. I also got testy with the dispatch lady, Becky and she was absolutely professional and I quickly apologized, I was indeed over zealous! I thank you all very much and will certainly call again.

Alex and his apprentice arrived on time to my appointment. Alex went over all of my price options/warranties of the various levels of water heaters and softeners before completing the job. He also installed a PRV pipe in the yard using top notch materials. He even installed new water faucets on the side and back of the house because he noticed they were damaged!

He was patient with my questions and concerns with such a big purchase! He went above and beyond with his work! His apprentice was also kind and knowledgeable. I appreciate both of their efficiency during their visit. I was able to complete other tasks that I had planned that day because they weren't wasting time. He assured me that I received the best product for a good value. I trust that if I have any problems Tietze will make sure they're solved.

Travis is the absolute best! He is so friendly and very very knowledgeable. He helped us with a faucet which had very little pressure. Other plumbers had said we would have to tear out the wall to get to the pipes in order to repair it. Travis fixed it in a matter of minutes. He was here to descale our water heaters and my husband mentioned the faucet to him. He said sure I will take a look at it

This was Travis' second trip to our home for an unrelated plumbing issue. He was thorough in checking out our system to solve a water heating issue in the shower. He provided sound advice on maintaining the system and how to get warranty support from our fixture manufacturers. I highly recommend Tietze Plumbing. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this plumbing company and will never use them. I requested a call back from a Manager or Owner twice. I advise dispatcher individual, we were the homeowners and they will be serving our rental property. The plumber communicated with our renter and next thing we know we have a bill we did not agree on. We agreed on a next day service not a 8pm after hours.

I also gave my billing information 3x to dispatcher at the time of call. A year later, I get a call from them stating they are trying to collect. I advise no bill or telephone follow up has been given. She advise she had a wrong email and received my first bill as notice of lien a year later. I also advise the older lady that her billing software should have advise invalid email and if they called sooner this matter could have been fixed.

Michael "Angel" Angeles from Tietze Plumbing installed my new water heater and did an awesome job from start to finish. He took extra precautions by covering the floors and did an excellent job cleaning up after the installation. His efforts to keep me informed throughout the entire process are appreciated and noteworthy. Angel's knowledge, professionalism, respectfulness, courtesy and responsiveness are "5 Star" quality.

When we noticed water leaking from the system outside, I called SAWS. It was not until a week later that a technician came to look at the problem. When he did, he discovered the leak came from the owner's side of the system. Fast forward to me searching for a plumber on Next Door and choosing the highly-rated Tietze Plumbing Company. And I am so glad I did.

Big props to Aaron Taylor from Tietze who discovered the source of the leak and went about replacing the faulty pipe. He explained how the break occurred and what it would cost to repair it. I am thoroughly pleased with the job Aaron did; he is definitely an asset to Tietze. I now have them on my speed dial.

Tietze Plumbing Inc really came to our rescue! The dispatchers were quick and efficient. We had our hot water heater go out! Walker and Travis brought pure professionalism, knowledge, skill and excellent communication to help get our water heater replaced as it had already had the temp controls replaced previously and was 14 yrs old so was ready to be replaced.

All of my questions were answered and different options were fully explained! Extreme respect was shown such as always wearing their facemasks and cleaning up thoroughly afterward. We have used Tietze Plumbing for years. Willie and Travis recently did some work for us and I was very impressed with their professionalism. They paid attention to details and put shoe covers on before entering the house and cleaned up before they left. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

They came out and replaced hot water heater today. Called this morning at 7:30 and they had it in this afternoon before 3:00. It was a little pricey (compared to Lowe’s or Home Depot install) but it looks like very good quality work and they were good to deal with. Would use again.

On 12/16/2017 I called Tietze Plumbing for an estimate to install a water heater. I mentioned that I was going to buy the water heater from Lowe's and needed them to pick up water heater and install. She quoted $550 to $750. When the guys came out to look where it will be installed I mentioned that they would have to pick up water heater. They said I would also need an expansion.

So I purchased everything that was needed. After calculating their estimate they said it would cost $800 just to install. The next day they installed water heater and said it would cost $974 just to install. I reminded them of their previous quote. He just shrugged his shoulders. After they left, by nighttime my water still was not hot. I called, and he suggested I check circuit breaker, so I did.

After flipping switch and waiting a couple hrs it seemed like I might be getting hot water. The next day, still no hot water. After speaking w/someone from mfg. company, I was asked if they asked me to turn water on to purge the system, I said no. She then said, they might of damaged the heating element. I called Tietze, and after she spoke w/the installers, she said that they did everything they were suppose to. Because, I didn't purchased the water heater from them I was told they couldn't warrant the installation.

It would cost $49 just to come out in addition to the cost of additional work. I was not happy w/the extra costs. I felt I already paid enough. The lady a couple days later said the reason why it cost more to install is because they had to pickup water heater and install expansion pump. The installers already knew that when they quoted $800 but then charged me $973 instead.

I ended up having to call a different plumber. This other plumber was very nice and fixed the problem at no charge. He said I already paid enough for a poor installation job. I WILL NEVER CALL TIETZE PLUMBING AGAIN. THEY LIED TO ME, OVERCHARGED ME, DID NOT WANT TO WARRANT THEIR INSTALLATION. And I will continue to spread my review because it's not right that they rip people off.

Alvin was our plumber and truly went above and beyond. Our water heater went out and he came out that evening. Even after getting a blowout tire on the way. He was nice enough to call me and let me know the situation and that he would still come by after fixing his tire. Unfortunately the time he arrived I had just left to pick up my kids and he still waited and finished the job that night. I don't think he left till 9pm! Amazing work ethic and great attitude. Very impressed and would recommend to anyone.

I know it is so easy to complain about a service or situation vs. taking the time to compliment, but I wanted to make sure I did take that time to let you know how well your company is doing. Hearing water running I needed to locate a water leak. After calling Tietze the plumbers that came out were very nice but did not seem to know where to start looking. After 6 hrs $1100 dollars an four large holes in my Sheetrock in 2 rooms they left me with a $2000 bid to reroute my water lines. I declined the additional ripoff. They left me with another water leak in the wall they put a patch on it but it is still wet an has a slow leak that is being fixed today by another plumber for much much less.

My house was left in a mess with several sheet rock holes to patch up on my own. They tear it up but they don't fix it. Worst experience ever. Do not use these guys they are super expensive an do not get the job done.

Well. First experience was really good. A nice gentleman came out to check my water softener. It was about 15 years old and I was tired of the expensive repairs. It was from a huge national chain. He made me a reasonable quote and replaced it that afternoon. Did a great job. We talked about a whole house filter and a New RO system. He gave me some idea of the price and told me when I was ready to call and they'd give me a quote.

So a couple months later I call for a quote and hope to get the same guy. The guy that came was a different person. Didn't seem to interested. Started helping himself to the candy bowl without asking. We just wanted a couple of quotes. He couldn't even do that. Said he'd get back with us. So about 5 days goes by and no quote. Nothing fancy just the whole house filter and RO system and we currently had an RO system just was 15 years old so the plumbing was in.

He finally gave us an outrageous quote. We ended up buying an RO system and replacing it ourselves. It took 30 minutes. Saved about $400 in labor. I then was thinking about the whole situation and thought they might like to know about my experience. I sent in a very nice email detailing the good and the bad experience I had with them. It's been a few weeks and I've still heard nothing.

I needed a simple plumbing fix, to change out the wax ring on the toilet. I called Tietze on Monday and working with my schedule they arrived on Tuesday. The timeframe was midday to 4 PM. There was a $49 service fee which would be added into the total if they did the work. The estimate could only be given once the plumber arrived. An experience journeyman and an apprentice arrived around 12:30 PM.

They were both very polite and explained what they were doing as they went about the job. The journeyman explained that it would be more expensive if the flange was broken and needed to be replaced as well as changing out the wax ring. I asked for a quote if the flange and wax ring needed to be replaced and was given $142.50. They spent a maximum of 30 minutes getting the job done and while the apprentice was caulking the toilet, the journeyman went out to the truck to write up the invoice.

He did not inform me that he was checking the water pressure on the outside faucet which did cause a small problem later because the hose had not been reattached. However I expected since the flange did not have to be replaced the price to be lower than $142.50 but was told that was the actual price to have the wax ring changed and if the flange had to be replaced it would've cost about $100 more and he had misunderstood me when I had asked for a quote earlier. I asked for a senior discount and did up paying $135. I would use this company again but I might ask them to write out the quote and what it covered.

Called at 1230pm about having a toilet installed. Made an appointment for 1:30. Plumber arrived on time, removed the old toilet and installed the new one in under 1hr. The price was right and the service great.

My wife called this company, because she had worked with the owner's wife some years ago. We had a leak in a fresh water pipe that was built into a slab in an older house. A plumber and helper came in for two 3-4 hour sessions, cutting away wallboard to view the pipes, and then spending several hours on a guess that it was a cold line.
