Westech Plumbing

They are even worse than they were 4 years ago. WesTech worked on the house next to mine, as you can see in the photo, the red line shows the property line. They dumped at least 3 to 4 what I would say wheel barrel loads of my neighbor's dirt and trash on my side, on top of some metal I had on the side of my house. Do you think I was super friendly and sweet when I called them to get over and remove the dirt?

Of course not, what blatant disregard of someone else's property. They told me they were waiting on the inspector and then they would come clean it up, I said the hell you are get over here now. They did not, I received a phone call from someone ( a male) that told me if my attitude was better they would have come, and that it was just a small amount of dirt and it was no big deal. needless to say after some really bad attitude words from me, I took all of the dirt on my side and put it back in the hole.

They sent two guys to get the dirt back out, who then gave me lip. I called the police and they were criminally trespassed from stepping on my side to shovel the dirt. ANY OTHER company that did this, would have apologized and sent someone over to correct this. Now I will file a complaint with the better business bureau and filling in small claims court on the cost of the metal. If you think this is the kind of company you want to hire, I think they can be reached at 1-800- We done give a crap.

At first I was skeptical because I needed to book a month out and the team was a little late to our appointment, but that's the worst it gets. It only goes up from here. Jake was not only super professional (while his teammate was a comic relief), but he waited until he could find the best fix for my ceiling fan issue for the lowest cost. We could have easily handed over a few hundred dollars, but Jake kept problem solving until he found the absolute best solution (saved us a lot of money) I would hands down recommend them to anyone in need of an electrician!

Westech came out on very short notice to fix my moms pipe that burst during the 2021 freeze. They fixed it fast, great service. But even more than that: *they gave her an absolutely huge discount for being effected by the freeze*. They didnt have to do this, but they did. What a great company. I'll never use another plumber.

Do not recommend. Had to use WesTech through home warranty. They had the city shut off water to an occupied duplex mid day. Called back 3 hours later as no one had been out to fix the leak. Was told no plumbers available for 5 days. Had I been told this to begin with, I could have changed companies. As it is now, the 2 families will be without water overnight at the very least. Crossing fingers WesTech will arrive first thing and fix the leak. Will update when the job is done.

I have had to place a service request through my Home Warranty and they sent out WesTech Plumbing both times. I was extremely impressed with their responsiveness. Every person I have talked to from this company has been beyond nice; starting with the Rebecca who answers the phones and places the work orders from the Home Warranty company, to the technicians the have come out. Both technicians that went above and beyond what they were "suppose" to do. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

I had many concerns about our plumbing and felt uncomfortable with a previous quote, so I called WesTech for a second opinion. Because of my concerns the co-owner himself came, talked me thru it step by step. The estimate I was given was surprisingly MUCH lower than the previous company's estimate, and less work involved. Because of the professionalism and thorough explanation I cancelled the 3 other companies I had scheduled for estimates. Done, we found our guys!

Will add another review after work is completed. Work has been completed and we will not use another plumbing service as long as we are in Lubbock. ALWAYS courteous, on time, respectful, hard working.

WesTech called me quickly after receiving the request from the home warranty company. They showed up during the time frame they said they would and explained everything they did. They provided great customer service. I definitely will use them again!

Top notch service! Sam arrived at targeted time after a short interview of the problems he went right to work. All the drain lines in the house were clogged and/or slow draining. You could not run the washer and shower without it backing up in the bathtub. He cleaned all the drain lines in the house including under the kitchen sink. Everything works great. He cleaned up everywhere he went. He was very polite and efficient. I would rrecommend WesTech to anyone.

Great Experience! They came to my house on time, and didn't leave until the work was completed to my satisfaction. The service tech stayed later in the evening than I expected to finish the repair. That is customer service! Date: 7/29/2019 This a revision to my original review. As far as customer service goes, WesTech has always been on point. They answer the phone, reception is always attentive and caring. Scheduling was easy and convenient.

The worker they sent out was super polite, called before coming to my house. I had an 11 am appointment, WesTech showed up around 11:45am. He was stuck at a previous job. No big deal, that is to be expected. Here is my problem, I had a sewer backup issue. The plumber quickly diagnosed my concern as a over full septic tank. He recommended getting the septic tank pumped first before continuing with any other diagnosis.

Something I completely agree with. After speaking with him about what need to be done, the plumber stated there would be no charge for this visit due to the repair circumstance that need to be performed. We shook hands and parted ways. I guess he was calling his dispatcher for the next job, he returned to my front door and asked for a $45 diagnosis fee.

I'm not upset about paying the diagnosis fee. But, I feel there is a lack of trust between management and workers. This worker made a judgment call to not charge for diagnosis because there was no work done. Just a simple visual inspection. But instead of honoring his opinion, management asked him to charge me a fee. Don't get me wrong $45 half of their hourly rate, and well deserved given the work they perform.

But as a manager myself, when my employees make a judgment call that has to do with customer service and customer retention. I have to trust their judgment and stand behind their decisions.

My water heater started leaking in our 4 year old home. Luckily I asked the seller to provide me a home warranty. After contacting the home warranty company WesTech was called out and diagnosed a new water heater was required. The home warranty Co. finally approved the work 48 hours later. WesTech called me with an unacceptable replacement date of 4 days.

I reached out to the owner of WesTech and asked for help, they speeded up my work by 3 days. All in all WesTech plumbers were courteous, fast and knew there job. I am a retired Commercial General Contractor with lots of experience dealing with trades and schedules. I give the a solid 8.5!

Recently inherited a house with major plumbing issues. Talked to four previous plumbers. They all just wanted to snake or reroute the plumbing. Kyle with WesTech Plumbing assessed the situation, told me what it would require and the cost, which totally fixed the issues of all plumbing for the house. When I received the final bill it was $300 less than the original quote because he didn't use as many materials as originally planned. I would not have known he used less and would have paid the larger amount. A company with integrity!

They took care of a leak in my backyard. Our home warranty didn't cover outside the home leaks but luckily Westech Plumbing came and located the leak fixed it all in one day! Thank you for your fast service and for being so kind and explaining everything to us!

Our Home warranty sent them out. I was pleased with their work. Carlos explained everything that was done. He also cleaned up the small mess from the leak. Office girls weres very nice too when they called me.

I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate the service I received by the technitions that came to my house. As you know, it is not easy letting strangers in your home, but he was polite, professional and very clean. He answered all my questions and even gave me suggestion on some other things in my house. I have used Westech plumbing since I moved here a year ago. The customer service is awesome as with the response to my couple of emergencies with water leaks and the 3 other maintenance issues in my home. Each person that works at Westech is amazing, very professional, trustworthy, it's an all around great company! That is why the were voted best in the west 2014!

Recently had a leak under our foundation at our home. WesTech was professional, friendly and accommodating. They put in a competitive bid which we compared against a few other local companies. We hired them for the job and it was completed quickly without issue.
