Critical:Value Called these guys and they charged me a $95 service charge and then billed me $150/hour to figure out the problem. Then wanted $450 for a part. Ridiculous. >>> Call Mowery in Brownsburg. They are coming out to my house for FREE to check my issue. Won't be using efficient systems again as their pricing is only efficient for them.

I bought a house in January and wanted to have the HVAC system checked out more thoroughly than what my inspector did before I turn the AC on this year. Ryan came out and checked everything. There was one measurement that was a little below spec, and Ryan gave me all the pertinent info. I appreciate the help and will be glad to have them back in the fall to do the regular checkup on the furnace side of things.

Darryl was kind, helpful, thorough and fixed my AC issue. He came by at 7:30 am, after I called close to 6 am due to waking up in a home that was around 90 degrees. Because of his prompt professional service, I was able to stay safe, care for my family & go to work (from home) myself w/ no issue. I am grateful. And will consider this service for other home needs. I look forward to being able to use their plumbing service next.

We had a pretty hefty workload for the company including water heater replacement and electrical work. There were a few miscommunications during the process, but Sean and Efficient Systems worked with us to make sure we got exactly what we were needing. The quality of work performed even on certain parts of the job needing revision was top notch. The techs were always on time and professional people to work with. At the end of the job you can trust that Efficient systems will make sure you are taken care of.

I don't understand people who regularly post reviews. This is my first, and I find it an odious task. Nonetheless, I feel I owe it to Efficient Systems and their potential customers. To be clear, I'm not a plumber nor am I an electrician so I don't feel I'm truly qualified to critique their work. I have hot water and my plumbing doesn't leak. My lights turn on when they're supposed to.
I can only only assume my HVAC is working efficiently. I'll update accordingly if problems appear down the road, but I strongly suspect there will be no such update. I think you can tell a lot about a company when things go right. You can tell even more about one when things go wrong. I had used Efficient Systems before with nothing but excellent workmanship and friendly service.
On a later occasion, I asked them to install a water heater and pressure valve. Somewhere in the process of installation, my utility room floor was slightly damaged. I had dealt with the installer before and believe him to be courteous and capable. It was a fluke accident. Nonetheless, he didn't hesitate to fess up to the accident. The service manager was called and only wanted to know what he could do to make it right.
I use Efficient Systems because I don't know anything about plumbing or electrical work. I do know about customer service, and theirs is outstanding. In addition to their reasonable pricing, you won't find a company that cares more about keeping their customers happy.

The company technician Adam called a half hour before the appointment to let me know he was on the way. He appeared to know what he was doing and looked to do a great of A/C tune-up and a Water Heater Flush. He was knowledgeable of the job and went through the paperwork with me to make sure I understood it. He was neat and I would certainly recommend him to anyone needing Heating/AC service.

I highly recommend Efficient Systems, Inc. for all home electrical repairs. I thought I had an outlet problem, but Adam V. found a much larger problem after checking my home's electrical system. I really appreciate Adam's knowledge and thoroughness when he repaired my home. Efficient Systems, Inc. is an excellent service provider. I recommend them to everyone.

I had a new air conditioning unit installed on May 19,2020. The installation went smoothly and the 2 technicians I interacted with were professional and friendly. It will be very nice to have a fully functioning unit with summer coming. Efficient systems also schedules a follow up visit after the installation to make sure that everything is working properly. I think that is great. Recommend them.

Mark visited today for an estimate on a toilet that an inspector said was loose at the floor. Mark was very courteous and helpful. He also inspected the plumbing near the toilet and gave me his professional opinion about its condition. I will definitely consider this company for service needs in future.

At the risk of offending electricians everywhere or the IBEW, no one's time is worth $195 an hour. Upon arriving the electrician informed me that I would be charged $195 an hour to look for a faulty circuit (which is why the kitchen ceiling lights were not working). I was hesitant, but they were there, and I decided to let him look for an hour or so.
While he was working in the panel the electrician caused a major power surge, There was popping and smoke everywhere. The alarm system went off. I thought I might have lost my computer. I lost a cordless phone, a dvd player, a heater, 2 surge protectors, a saw, and one of my kitchen ceiling lights. The electrician said he did not know how the problem occurred.
There was no weather issue, and I have a whole house surge protector to protect from surges coming from the outside. The surge came from the panel he was working in at the time. I told him to stop looking for the faulty circuit and just wire the lights into a back porch light that was working. He did this and when the ceiling lights came on one would not work.
The electrician said he did not know if there was something wrong with the fixture before the rewire and offered to give me an estimate for repair. I informed him that given the power surge and the burnt electrical smell that was on them to repair for free. I called his boss and told him it was on them. After deliberating with the employee on the phone for 30 minutes.
They decided they would replace the fixture if I paid my $600 bill. I should not have paid the full bill, and I should have been compensated for the other items I lost. They need to send more experienced people who know what they are doing especially at $195 an hour.

We chose Efficient Systems for electrical work based on the great reviews, and we were not disappointed. Our technician, Adam V, was courteous, listened carefully, did his work carefully and thoroughly, and got everything back up and running for us. He was also honest-- instead of just giving a quote for one of the repairs, he told us about another option that would be cheaper for us and said we could even install it ourselves if we wanted. I really appreciate that kind of honesty, and will definitely continue using Efficient Systems in the future.

Today in a bit of a panic situation I called Efficient Systems for an electrician and spoke with the Operations Manager John New and he got in contact with Service Manager Rob Baber. Both were prompt and willing to help, not even knowing my full situation. The issue ended up being resolved without the need for an appointment but the way was treated and how they saw my situation as a priority goes a long way in the electrical industry. Rob literaly calmed my anxiety over the phone. Thank you Efficient Systems Electrical Team today your help today. Would highly suggest using this team for all your electrical needs.

I hired Efficient Systems to deal with my water heater in the house I rent out near Garfield Park. The pilot light kept winking out when the burner would quit at the end of a heating cycle. I had pulled my hair out and spent most of three days trying to diagnose and repair the thing myself. They told me it was probably the massive amount of lime in the tank getting too hot and exuding more heat than the pilot light thermocouple could take.
That made sense, and it was not worth trying to salvage that water heater, so I had them install a new one. They did it for a flat ~$1350 or so. I also asked them to replace the old shutoff valve for the house that is aged to the point where it leaks for a while after being used, and while they were at it, to remove the old bypass valve to a departed water softener that some previous owner used to have.
I wanted them to install a new shutoff valve with some threaded pipe so that someone in the future could install a new water softener with less trouble than if it was all sweat fitted. Well, they didn't come prepared to do it when they replaced the water heater. I went on a trip to the East Coast for a week, came back, responded to their email quote with specific instructions and a diagram of what I wanted, and got back this little lecture about needing to set up an appointment to come into the office and meet with so and so and then have someone come out and look at things to see how to set up a new bypass valve, which is definitely not what I asked.
It was like they had no record of who I was or anything about what I'd already said I wanted. Rather a pain when they'd had two guys working on the water heater, which is literally 12 inches away from the shutoff and bypass, two weeks prior. It's pretty clearly not going to be worth the bother to have them do it at this point; I'll either do it myself or call a regular plumber, probably the former. In all, it seems like the water heater was right in their wheelhouse; simple plumbing modifications, not so much.

I have used Efficient Systems three times over the last month due to various needs associated with the sale of my home and the purchase of a new home. They are the most competent and professional HVAC technicians as well as plumbers and electricians I have ever know. It's reassuring to have such a group of service providers available!

I was very pleased with their communication, and will certainly use Efficient Systems in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone who has HVAC needs.

Super impressed with this company. Previously dealt with another commercial AC company with poor results. The difference is unbelievable. Had an emergency call on weekend. Called at 8am. Spoke with Sean on phone and they sent out a tech in an hour. Very personable and thorough. Reasonable prices. AC works great now. I would recommend to anyone.
