System tune up each year. Last yr service guy shows me AC full of freon. Next night no AC. Called & they said refrigerant was gone. Tried to charge me $60/lb puron. This year I got my own puron for $24/lb while they charge over $60/lb 300% mark up. Told them I had my own puron and they said they wouldn't put it in even tho it's federal certified, sealed, and same as theirs.

They make all their money price gouging parts. Previous computer part they charged. $220 which I could've bought online for $25. Called other HVAC & over half less for tune-up and will use my puron if needed.

I met with ERIC from Love Heating and Air. He shared with me that he was not vaccinated. That is enough for me to switch vendors. If you don't care about your own health, by all means call LOVE.

Called Love after Dynasty ghosted us hard. Love made us a same day appointment & showed up within a few hours. James was professional and repaired our unit within an hour. He thoroughly explained the problem & the fix. The cost was quite reasonable. Service: Repair AC

We purchased a two story home with a finished basement that should have had 2 furnaces and 2 air conditioners when it was built. The sun porch, upstairs loft and bedroom were always warm in the summer and cool in the winter. We had Love Heating and Air Conditioning install 3 Mitsubishi energy efficient, ductless mini split cooling and heating units in those rooms.

Problem solved - today it was 90 degrees and all three rooms were comfortable. Love's installers were very professional, courteous and efficient. Once they completed the installation, they fully explained how to use the units. If you have any existing rooms in your home that are either too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter, we can highly recommend Love Heating and Air Conditiong and the Mitsubishi Mini Split units.

I had such an incredible experience. The technician who assisted me, Jeff, was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly professional and explained all of the things he was doing each step of the way. He broke down the cost for each procedure and explained how each would help us in the long run. We had another company come out initially who was charging us an astronomical amount of money to refill our Freon and check for leaks. Loves came out and did the exact same service for $130 less. I would highly recommend Love's and Jeff to everyone.

My house was built in 1920 and had the original boiler. Love Heating and Air took the old boiler out and put in a much smaller and more efficient unit. Their bid was lower than the other two companies from whom I got estimates. They had also worked on my pipes before, and I knew they do great work. It was a dock yard job to get that monster out of my basement and haul it away.

They also contracted with an asbestos group who came in first and removed it. This saved me looking for someone to do it. They were efficient and as neat as you can be with this type of job. Anthony Lechner was very accommodating about changing my start date because of COVID-19. This company is easy to work with, and they do a great job. I highly recommend them.

I have used Love Heating & Air to check-out, clean and help maintain my HVAC system ever since I moved to a new home. I can't say enough about their professionalism, thoroughness and competency! Time and time again they help bring me up to speed on my system, if I have questions-- they have the answers! I can tell from the courtesy of their technicians that this is a well-managed business that puts people first. They are the best!

Wouldn't ever go to work for a company so unorganized. And been around 1920 and still can't get their payroll right. For a month either didn't get the right amount of hours that I worked or they double charged me on child support. After giving me the rest of my money. Chasing my money isn't something I like to do.

Said our unit couldn't be fixed and requested a new purchase. Within 24 hours, a different company came out and fixed it and it's working perfectly. The service fee of $100 & your time down the drain. You be the judge. We tried to make this right with them, they completely lied and said they would refund the service fee. Never received it even after a friendly reminder follow up call. Nice!

Inspection of AC unit. From work order - Upon arrival found AC unit was flat on charge, (no refrigerant in the unit) It is approx 15 years old uses R-22 Refrigerant. Pressure tested circuit with approx 300psi of nitrogen approx losing 2 psi per 10 minutes. Informed customer about R-22 being phased out and we wouldn't be reparing AC unit and a new AC is recommend (system still charged with nitrogen) I called another company and they fixed the unit and it runs perfectly.

Upon arrival the Love Heating and cooling tech, who didn't call before showing up as I was told he would and came at the end of the day on a Friday seemed as though he really didn't want to help. End of the day service call, on a Friday, he didn't want to bother with the repair. I understand the issue with the R22 refrigerant, however, the company that fixed the unit came out on a Saturday and fixed it or re-charged the unit. Lazy and or lying tech only looking to sell a new unit. Stay away from Love Heating and Air Conditioning.

I talked to Samantha who is very courteous and helpful with scheduling and finding out your issues. The furnace maintenance was done by Ron, who is experienced, professional and very knowledgeable. Ron explained what he was doing and why he was doing the processes to inspect, clean and service the furnace. This was the best experience! Thanks to Love Heating and Air Conditioning, Samantha and Ron.

Outstanding service. Love was able to schedule a Saturday replacement on my air conditioner but unfortunately they found a crack in the furnace so a total system replacement was needed. Their price was competitive, and after the hottest weekend of the year, they installed a new system which works perfectly. Their installers, and service professional were outstanding and even during a work Zoom call, I didn't know they were in the house working. Highly recommend Love for any HVAC service or replacement.

Service tech, Chris, did an exceptional job at our house today. He was pleasant and very knowledgeable. He went beyond the standard tuneup expected. I most appreciate that he got our My Infinity thermostat back on line so I can check and adjust it remotely. I will specifically ask for him next time.

I called Love after having a very bad experience with Broadripple Heating and Air. I had a very old unit with a bad compressor that had blown my main power breaker. I called Love and the people who answer the phones are so nice and they had someone out within a couple of hours. He (Brad Hayes) spent about and hour and half and gave me a couple of very good options on a new unit.

I had an old freon based unit so they had to find something with a coil that was short enough for my furnace and he did. What impressed me the most about Brad was that he has been with the company 33 years, and he spent a lot of time telling me about my options and he gave me an option that was really affordable. I trusted him almost immediately and then when he gave me the break down about what I needed and what my options were I felt confident he was not trying to sell me anything I did not need.

The other thing is that the units they sell are built here in Indianapolis by Carrier and I like the idea of having something that is built in the US, especially my hometown, and that I can trust they will be good at servicing it. It also has a 10 year warranty! The unit was installed yesterday on what was the most humid day so far this year and they were professional, covered their shoes and my floors.

They were here from 9 am to 4:30 pm and worked THE ENTIRE time, and it rained throughout the whole day and they never made a single complaint. They were all about business. Gary the main installer said he has been with Love for 38 years. The owner and management must be doing something right to keep people that long. They turned the unit on around 4 pm and by 5 the humidity was out of the air and by 7:00 pm my 2000 SQ. ft condo had reached the cool 66 that I like to keep it at.

From my first phone call, Love has been nothing but professional, nice and their workers, from Shannon who answered the phone to Brad Hayes who sold me the unit, to Gary the installer, were all professional, courteous, knowledgeable and most of all, kind. I have worked in customer service for many years and treating people right is what makes a difference and Love definitely did that. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I've used Love-HVAC for 12 years since they installed my furnace and A/C. They've had problems in their office the last two years, and their website has had problems for at least a year, (online appointment not working and their captcha version needs to be updated; Why haven't they fixed it yet?), but I thought that I would give them one more try for an annual residential a/c checkup.

The service rep did a good job checking the A/C, (although he used Facetime to get some assistance), but he said 2 capacitors dealing with the compressor and blower motors were out of spec and should be replaced. That's a good catch, but then he gave me a parts estimate of $218, (installation was another service call at $56). I held off, looking up the parts, ordered them from Amazon for a total of $25, same parts from Genteq). I'm handy, so I can install these myself, but others might not be so handy. I expect a small markup, 10-15% and maybe 50% for small parts, but 870% it outrageous. I won't be using Love-HVAC again. Total service estimate: $280. DIY cost: $25.

I just got stood up again on a prepaid service agreement appointment. I wish I could say it was the first time. We've had a service agreement with Love for at least 15 years. The technicians have uniformly been great. The administrative staff not so much. Over the years, I've been stood up or called at the very last minute to tell me they were cancelling and I needed to rearrange my schedule accommodate them.

Today it was "they had gotten busy with on demand " appointments. I called them a half hour after the scheduled appointment, they didn't call me. Again, that has been the norm. The message is if you have a service agreement with Love, be prepared to be shuffled to the rear of the line in high demand periods.

I just had a good experience with love heating. I received 3 estimates for a air conditioning unit and they had the better price and the salesman Brad was a very nice person as well as the installer. I had a problem with where the outside unit was placed so they moved it. I was very satisfied and will call them in future if need be., if you need work on air or heat you should call them because they are professionals.

Well I may have spoken to soon to sing praises for love heating & air., turns out they made a mistake on my phone # and I didn't get a call for a service call to diagnose the air conditioner at my house, but they said they could come back a week later. Lol what kind of s--t is that. I just st spent $2,800.00 with them. Well, I'll grab them when they r cheaper but I won't depend on them to do the right thing and u shouldn't either.

Love Heating and Cooling recently installed a new furnace in our upstairs attic. They were very professional from the start and explained things very well. During the install, their new staff member stepped on the ceiling, cracking it in the center of the bedroom. During our talk about the damage, the staff member responsible proceeded to step on the ceiling a few more times, causing a larger section of damage as we talked and witnessed the breaking.

They took responsibility and got someone out to look at and fix the ceiling the same day. The owner came out shortly after to apologize and provide some instructions to the staff present. After paying, we found that they burned out our Nest Thermostat and called back. About 15-minutes after they left. The installer asked to wait until the morning, but the furnace was blowing cold air.

A different tech came out and confirmed that the thermostat was burned out. They gave us a temporary thermostat, and I ordered a new one. I gave instructions during the morning install to NOT wire anything around the thermostat while it was live, and it was working up until the addition of a water sensor. This is where things went down hill. We did not get a call back that Thursday, and I called to ask about my Thermostat.

There was also no call on Friday. Saturday, I called again and asked to talk to the owner, as the furnace was not producing heat. I found water dripping down the side of the unit, and water pumping sounds coming from the unit. I pushed down on the drain pipe, and a lot of water cleared the unit. A tech came out and found the exhaust pipe was not aligned, and re-sealed the exhaust, but still no call back about the thermostat.

Another business day has gone by, and still no call or information about the thermostat. Its such a shame that they would be prompt during the install, and so unwilling to contact me back after they were paid. ***AFTER POSTING ABOVE TO FACEBOOK**** Love Heating and Air Conditioning wrote me a reply stating that they are sorry for what happened, and that they fired not the person that stepped on the ceiling, but the Lead on-site, and the tech that came out and gave me a temporary thermostat.

I did not ask for this to happen, nor do I wish that for what should simply be a teachable moment. The concern I had about replacing my thermostat is what I wanted and still need. Now a week later, I still have not had 1 call back from the owner I requested, or any staff there. A $200 thermostat is a cheap cost to learn a valuable lesson.

Love recently replaced a second system for us at a new address. In each case, we've been very happy with their sales representative, responsiveness, product selection and follow-up. They make HVAC easy, no pressure and help you understand the health of your home and what you can do to improve it. The other thing that really impressed me was that they had records going back to the 1940's on our old home. Special thanks to Brad Hayes for his support before we purchased the home in evaluating our options. Brad is the reason we keep coming back!

We put in a new Carrier geothermal unit in early December 2014. It has NEVER functioned correctly! Our electric bill was double initially due to the geothermal system not working properly; assorted service people, geothermal company representative (Carrier is the brand), and service manager have been at our home and it continues to not work properly!
