Jonathan from McGill came this week and replaced two bathroom toilets for us. He did an excellent job. Professional, cleaned up after himself. Good quality work. Shane in sales was excellent. Really helped us out. We had a cracked toilet and need the installation done promptly as we were heading back up north. They ordered and installed our equipment in less then. A week! Thank you

These guys were awesome from start to finish. My wife and I went in there and ordered a new faucet and met with Shane. His service was excellent and answered all our questions. He ordered our materials and then we setup installation. We just had the faucet installed and they also fixed an old leaking spigot outside. Kyle our Installer was Awesome! Very quick and thorough. He was training a new guy Justin and he was explaining everything to him like a true professional. A great experience from start to finish.

We trust McGill Plumbing completely. They arrive when promised, are honest, don't overcharge. They are more than fair. We wouldn't call anyone else for our plumbing needs. We made that mistake once and McGill were the ones that had to call to repair the previous work, lesson learned.

The office staff were pleasant when I made an appt. and called me the day of the service to notify when and who would arrive. The plumber, Mike, was on time, professional and did a great job, completing the work in an hour. (I was referred to McGill by friends who were happy with a service done at there house.)

This review is actually for KYLE but Can't find his name off ReviewBuzz.com. SO anyway, I had a leak in the kitchen sink and this dude knew exactly what the issue was and how to fix it, sadly we couldn't unplug it simply or replace it due to not having the parts needed for the type of service, but he did offer options and helpful advice how to fix it!

He even checked underneath the sink for leaks or any other possible issues. Since the job I asked was so simply fixed I asked if he could check the toilet for any other issues since I don't usually have a plumber over, he fixed and replaced a certain pipe in the toilet and went on his way! Thanks again guys! If I ever wanna say "Screw It" and replace the entire sink I will definitely give you a call!

The guys showed up right on time to install our new hose bib. They did an excellent job, were clean, courteous and efficient. We've used McGill plumbing several times and have never been disappointed in the slightest.

Called for after hours service on 9/25 @ 11 pm. Answering service took my info but no call back from company. Called again 1.5 hours later & answering service confirmed my info but again no call back. Called @ 0700 on 9/27 & received a call back that the unclog team was booked all day and the earliest available service was Monday (next day) some time.

I asked if they could refer another company that might be available and I was told to google it (in a nice way). I had previously used this company on 9/7 for this very same issue (clogged pipes) & the response was timely. They came out @ 930-10 pm and ran K60 cable down the vent stack and unclogged the drain. So, 4-5 star the 1st call but a 2 star this time (9/25) for lack of callback and no availability.

I cannot say enough good things about McGill Plumbing, but specifically my Plumber, Mark. While here on a scheduled service call to remedy a missing gasket on the overflow drain in a tub, Mark noted that we had 1/2" piping at a junction from the waste drain leaving the tub. Mark explained that over time the small diameter could fill with soap scum, hair, sand from the beach, etc and I'd be calling him frequently to address clogging issues.

We had Mark back out to turn this 1/2" junction pipe to a 1 1/2" pipe (I also am not sure if I'm using all the correct terminology). The quickness at which both services were completed were appreciated. I also appreciated the kindness and patience Mark took with me during explanations. They were extremely punctual and tidy during their visit. I will 100% be calling McGill in the future should I require their services!

They the only one of three plumbing companies who where able to fix the problem which as I understand wasn't all that difficult! Ric was on time and thorough. He explained everything and showed me all the parts then explained the short comings of the other plumbers. I am quite satisfied with the company and will stay with them. Our home was built in 1915, which means crawlspace and interestingly enough, through those many years, several different pipe materials. So, in looking about and doing my homework, with references, I settled on McGill to replumb under the home! (This was done after electrical rewiring and installing a new foundation) From the proposal by Ray to the work done by Joe, Kody and Steve and to the office support from Stacey and Jennifer, it was a slam dunk success!

Communication every step of the way, descriptions and pictures of old pipes to be removed, hours to shut the system off, etc. It was done the way it was supposed to be done...prompt, personal and professional! Thanks McGill!!

We needed a new bathroom faucet and shower bar & head installed. It was a little complicated because the valves did not line up with the new vanity. John from McGill came out and he was confident that he could complete the job. He had to make some cuts in the vanity, but he was careful and clean! Everything looks beautiful. I also needed a new shower bar, head and on/off whatchamacallit installed. the old one was installed crooked, but somehow John was able to install the new one without breaking any tile.

It's perfect, and the water pressure is amazing! John is friendly and has a great attitude. He was upbeat about the project and that resulted in a job well done! Thank you, McGill!

It is so comforting to find a reliable quality plumbing company. And in McGill Plumbing we have found a reliable go to resource for our plumbing needs. Specifically, their employee Jack, has gone above and beyond in helping us. What a courteous young man. I have dealt with many plumbing companies since buying my home in 1996. McGill is the only one I ever called a second time. They are reasonable, reliable and HONEST. They never tried to sell me something I didn't need. I rarely write reviews because I rarely find a company worth doing business with that I would stake my reputation on. I highly recommend them!

While watering the other day, my hose thingie broke off. Needed a plumber quickly. Called McGill - affordable, showed up on time and wearing a mask! Recommended them to my mother who had them fix her faucet a few days later. Highly suggest contacting them. Most of the folks in my area use them so we see their trucks often. Very pleased.

John M. was wonderful. fixed two things and then installed a new toilet. worked for 2 hours straight without stopping. cleaned up you never knew he was there after he was done, very professional and efficient.

Staff were polite and efficient on the phone. They communicated with us in a timely manner. when Mike L. came he was friendly and focused. he was quick and thorough. He made sure wd were satisfied before he left. Cost was reasonable. We have used them before and found this to remain the case. 5 stars!

I was doing a project where I was tiling over an existing shower floor and needed a specific part and Lowes suggested I go to McGill Plumbing to see if they had it. When I went in to ask about a drain frame, the employee treated me as though I was an idiot. Instead of speaking to me to find out more about the issue and perhaps explaining an alternative or a reason why not to try to do it my way, he said, "We don't carry those.

We don't do it that way. We do it the right way." That was basically the gist of the conversation. Had he not acted annoyed and had been courteous and helpful, I very well might have asked McGill to come out and replace the pieces their "correct" way. I instead went to Ferguson Plumbing and the gentleman explained the process and offered information and, in the mean time, gained a loyal future customer.

Quick and professional! Very courteous and fair priced will definitely call them again if needed! Sending recommendations to all my neighbors! I had leaking valves in the wall my handles were old and worn he replace everything what an excellent job!

McGill Plumbing responded very quickly to our plugged drain issue. Josh was very knowledgeable and courteous while he was here working on our issue. He resolved our problem quickly. I had a hot water heater installed by McGill that wasn't heating properly. I called to tell them and they said they'd send someone out. The technician showed up, plugged in a tool and said "it works fine" then told me his 2 minutes check of my under warranty water heater would be $115. When I called in the person told me "well we HAVE to charge you. SOMETHING". 1.

No one said that there would be any charge to simply look at the hot water heater they installed. 2. Simply looking at it should not cost anything. I'd pass when considering this company for any future work.

Loooooooove these guys!!! We have had two separate plumbing issues with our new home over the last two years( remodeled but still built in 1962) and we we're lucky enough to get Josh both times!!! These guys are SUPER knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and well priced!!!!! They are extremely honest and care about the well being of their customers and their customers homes!!!! McGill plumbing is your go to one stop shop for ANY of your plumbing needs!!!

On a Monday I called Apollo Plumbing to have a toilet flange replaced. An appointment was scheduled for Wednesday between 9 & 11am. Tuesday they called the technician had some sort of problem and had to push the appointment to Thursday between 9 & 11am, Wednesday they said the technician was running late and pushed it to Thursday between 2 & 4. Around 5pm on Thursday I was called to see if the technician showed up; he did not.

I told them not to bother coming at I would call someone hopefully more reliable. That is 1 week wasted waiting but at least it was a non emergency and I can cross Apollo off my list. I called McGill after 9am on Friday and Kyle the plumber was at my house by 3pm. We needed a toilet reseated. Kyle was marvelous, clean and efficient, he replaced the flange, leveled the toilet and resealed it around the floor. The price was excellent as well. Very professional and friendly. Thank you Kyle and McGill.

Ok, had Mc Gill to the house a couple of day's ago. There was a major snafu from the previous owner having a deep sink & a washing machine drain line installed without traps. There was very little exposed piping or room to work.
Cody studied the problem then went to work bringing everything up to code. It was a tough job he excelled at. While here he also added a shutoff valve & a new line for the refrigerator ice maker. Great worker, fair pricing.

Clogged sink on Good Friday afternoon. Ugh!!! Turned down by 2 other companies! Called McGill and they said they would be right out. Ryan got to our home within 15 minutes. He was friendly and professional. He found the problem very quickly (it wasn't just in the trap). He went over and above to make sure he got the whole clog out from way down in the pipe system.

He put everything back together and made sure everything was working properly. He even cleaned up! I am very grateful to Ryan and to McGill Plumbing. I will call them first from now on!!!!

We've used McGill a number of times. They have a sales area also for counter sales. They've been in business since when the toilet was invented. Service prices are reasonable. Ask for John M. He has been the best plumber so far. The experienced plumbers they use always seem to have a trainee with them. Keep an eye on the trainee - sometimes they do things incorrectly and the master plumber has to correct them.

That's why we like John M. so much. He keeps a close eye on his trainees and, by observation, he does a great job showing trainees how to do things right.

Oh, and did I say that their prices are reasonable?

Within 2 hours the first of your service men was here to check out the problem. He called immediately that a new water heater was needed.

I called you today at about 2:30 with a back up problem. The lady who took the info was very nice and said someone would be out between 3-5. Ernie showed up probably around 4. Came in, saw the situation, heard my story and immediately went to work & fixed the problem. He was very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable and taught me about toilet paper.

Today, I had to call a plumber for the first time. I called multiple plumbers in the area and got their estimates for my problem. You were most certainly the cheapest out there, and on my college student budget, that is what I needed. I made an appointment and you accommodated my schedule by coming that same day.

I called this morning from Ohio to have a hot water heater replaced in my condo as guests were staying there. They were very prompt and very clean. The installer was very nice to my guests and completed the job within 3 hours of my call.

The part I wanted does not exist yet this very informal gentleman spent over 30 minutes putting together small fittings that eventually resolved my problem, all for a few dollars. Such caring not seen in years!

We had a kitchen faucet start leaking profusely. While I was turning off the water, the pea trap and adjoining pipe broke off. McGill Plumbing (Ernie) responded promptly! He replaced our faucet with a new Moen, and replaced the corroded pipes under the sink for an extremely reasonable price!

Recently you performed services at our mother's home on South Betty Lane, Clearwater, Florida. First, you were extremely prompt to have someone come out to check a leak we called to report. Then you were prompt to have Ray come to give an estimate for re piping the house. Then John Wolf, Torin and Manny came to begin the re piping process.
