At the peak of house remodeling madness during the pandemic, we embarked upon a bunch of remodeling projects in the house. After interviewing several contractors including Costco, we hired LBJ as our values aligned with theirs. Lisa helped us pick our tiles and floors while Brent helped quarterback the project, helping and coaching us along the way.

At times we need demo, drywall and other contractors and he has someone to do all the jobs. My four bath remodel, soffit wall removal, tile staircase and vinyl flooring including windows installation all fell into place like a puzzle. I would highly recommend this hidden gem to all my friends and family.

I would recommend LBJ Flooring. I contacted them to redo my uncle's house after he passed. He was a very heavy smoker and the walls were stained yellow. The smell was in the carpets, walls and doors. They did not do a cheap slap paint on it job. The cleaned the yellow stained walls first so the new paint would stay on and come off after a short time.

They replaced the carpeting and cleaned and restrained the doors. The smell was gone and was able to sell the house quickly. I would recommend them for any of you needs. They really know what they are doing.

Read this before you buy!!! We hired LBJ to do wood floors for our second floor and refinish the wood stairs and fireplace mantle to match the new floor finish.
Lisa came gave us an estimate, we signed the contract and sent a deposit as agreed. We waited for a month for LBJ to put us in their schedule. Three days before starting the job Brent came to take a look at it and refused to do the stairs because he was going to loose money!!

We were nearing the holidays, we have company coming, a lot of our stuff was already moved downstairs and he decides he is not going to do the job? Beware!! To me this is an integrity issue, we had a contract and he backed out. We even offered to meet him half way on the loss he thought he was going to incur, he refused. He said he would only agree to do the floors.

I had him lay the floor in the bedrooms because I needed to put my house back together since I have company coming for Thanksgiving! I was stuck and kicking him off the job completely would have given him the easy way out. I now have stairs that are three different colors, old stain, new finish on the landing and unfinished wood on the top step with out of town guest staying at my house.

I trusted this company because I worked with them before, they did my first floor tile. Lisa did the estimate, Brent and his crew came to do the work. I specifically gave them the job, even though they were priced higher, because of the prior experience and because we wanted the floors and the stairs to flow and be done all at the same time. I am shocked at the lack of professionalism and character.

Be cautious dealing with this company, I was really stuck timing wise once they refused to do the work. Finding someone to refinish a staircase three weeks before Thanksgiving, by Thanksgiving, is impossible. Save yourself the stress and use someone else. To add insult to injury I got an estimate from a licensed contractor with great yelp reviews for $1K less than LBJ was charging me.

I can't say enough good things about LBJ Flooring. They've done a few projects for us and we were so very pleased each time. These guys are punctual, they are professional, they are friendly and they sincerely listen to what the customer wants and needs. They do great work and when they leave your place they clean up behind themselves. It's just all good! Thank you LBJ Flooring, for truly being top notch.

We recently had some work done by LBJ and we couldn't be happier! I am pretty shocked at some previous negative reviews. Not the same experience for us at all. Very efficient, clean, amazing custom work by Scott and came in at a very fair price. We had 2 other estimates but felt the most comfortable with Lisa, who gave us our quote. Highly recommend!

Beware of LBJ FLOORING INC! I was so disappointed to learn that Brent would steal from me. At the completion of my $20,105 flooring job. I took inventory of the following excess material on my front porch after the job was complete: 12 boxes of 16 X 16 ceramic tile, 1 3/4 boxes of stone stack 3D fire place brick, 5 bags of tile mortar mix and 1 1/2 bags of sanded grout.

As the workers were replacing furniture, the material was still on the porch. LBJ stole all of my extra materials without mentioning anything to me about it or asking my permission. I waited a couple of days to ask LBJ for a final invoice, hoping he would mention a credit. Instead Brent said the invoice I already received was the final. I asked Brent about the material that was stolen, he eventually admitted that he took the material and returned it to the merchant for a credit. *(at first Brent lied about taking the materials back)* Had I not said anything to Brent, he would not have acknowledged that he not only stole the material but was already given credit/cash to keep for himself.

He then offered me a $600 credit, after he was busted. He did not even know if I wanted to keep the material. This is the third job LBJ has done for me, so I am not sure if he stole from me in the past. Beware! Brent is a GREEDY, THIEF I paid him in full for all the jobs that were done for me and the audacity of him to steal is unbelievable.

I am incredibly happy with LBJ flooring. They are professional, but also very personable. I had a very small job, just one room that I wanted to replace carpeting and tile in. Lisa came out herself to measure and made a recommendation for flooring that is a perfect fit for our family and home. Brent and his assistant came out and finished the job in one day and did an excellent job. We are planning to continue to replace flooring throughout our home and we will absolutely be calling them again.

I used LBJ Flooring to install window casings in my master bedroom. I have to rave about the quality of work that was performed. And even though it was a small job, Brent (the B in LBJ) was on site and took the time to make sure the job was done to perfection. Job was completed in a timely fashion and quality was superb.

They installed Juncker's hardwood flooring in our home several years ago. They are beautiful and timeless and have not displayed any wear and tear, despite our chocolate Lab's efforts!

Sadly, I am not getting a response from Lisa, the owner of LBJ. Full transparency. She was out to my home a couple of years ago to give me a quote. Some personal things happened that didn't allow us to move forward with getting renovations done. Fast forward to 9/7/16, I contacted her asking her for some changes to the quote. She asked if she could come back and remeasure and talk to us on what we'd like done. Well, since she came back on 9/16/16, remeasured and talked about some things that we wanted.

I haven't heard back from her since. I sent her a follow-up email on 9/27/16 thanking her for visiting me again and asked for an update on an estimate. Crickets. No response to my email as of today 10/28/16. I guess that means they don't need or want my business. i had high hopes for LBJ since they were recommended to me by a friend. Luckily I've found other contractors that are both responsive and do great work.

We used LBJ Flooring for placing solid wood placement. Originally met Lisa to go over the services and later her husband, son, and crews installed the flooring. Lisa is extremely professional in her approach meeting us and listen to our requests with competitive price. Her husband and son are also diligent to our request and job well done. We had shopped around before making and commitment and LBJ Flooring is recommended.

LBJ Flooring has done our hard wood floors throughout our whole house 12 years ago and now also a kitchen remodel couple of months ago. They did an outstanding job on both projects, at a very reasonable price, we couldn't be happier! I have been in the interior design industry for over 15 years, and can honestly say I have never worked with better contractors. They are extremely professional, honest, meticulous and creative. This company and these people really are as good as it gets. Brent and Lisa came into a VERY difficult situation with our home construction. A whole house flood with legal issues, insurance issues, time constraints and "other" issues all in one project! They endured and overcame incredible challenges and obstacles; that is committment. Today our home looks BEAUTIFUL, is safe and healthy for our family, and was completed on time and on budget.

They did a complete remodel of our master bath, staircase and kitchen, repaired all drywall, lighting, electrical, plumbing, crown molding, baseboard and window casings, painted the whole house and even repaired an exterior plank and installed a new fence. Everything looks, functions and feels wonderful. I could not be happier. Thank you LBJ!

I wouldn't dream of talking to anyone else about any kind of flooring than Brent Johnson. This guy is not just obsessed with perfect floors, he has a huge amount of knowledge about how installation should be done. What I loved about LBJ Flooring is that even though my project was a 10' x 10' area, they treated me like one of their high-end clients. Everything was done quickly, professionally, and they left the house spotless. And the floor is beautiful! It absolutely transformed my room. Thank you LBJ Flooring!

I called LBJ Flooring for an estimate/ quote on a new install area that would mate-up to some existing flooring that would get refinished/ re-stained to match seamlessly. Lisa showed up on time for the quote appointment. She inspected the existing floor and informed me that I had 3/4" Solid Oak floor. strange since the first company's quote was for 5/8" Engineered wood floor.

A few days later I got an email quote for $4,000. Meanwhile, I had company #3 in for a quote. He verifies that I have a 5/8" Engineered flooring product and gives me a quote to complete the same job for $3,100. Except his measurement of the area is for 180 sq ft, LBJ's was 200 sq ft.that was like an extra $100 right there for LBJ. Ultimately I hired company #3 and the job was expertly completed a few weeks later for $3,100. So, LBJ quotes me for the wrong flooring product. I'm not sure if that was just to drive the price up or if she really didn't know what flooring I had.

Either way, it's definitely not good. LBJ quotes me for an extra 20 sq ft of new install.now that's definitely to drive the price up and very unprofessional and seems dishonest. Considering I was quoted for the wrong product and also quoted for more area than I actually had, definitely a 1 star from me. Beware, be smart and do your homework. Get more than one quote!
