Pratt Plumbing

This was our first experience with Pratt Plumbing having been referred to them by our longtime former plumbing firm. Michael was very professional and knowledgeable in his assignment of repairing three faucets and diagnosing an issue with a shower that will require additional attention. He also inspected plumbing underneath our home by going into the crawl space. We will certainly use Pratt Plumbing and Michael in the future as the need arises.

Called this company a week or so ago in need of assistance. They were backed up but scheduled me anyway which was much appreciated. I later was able to teach myself how to fix the problem on my own and called to notify them that there was no longer an issue. They were understanding and apologized for the lengthy schedule out time. I will definetly be calling again when something I do not understand breaks.

I called Pratt Plumbing early this morning with a possible pipe break due to extreme cold temperatures in Amarillo. Micheal was my technician and was very kind, professional, thorough, and he even changed his shoes before entering my house! I really appreciate Pratt Plumbing take care of me in a timely manner. Nothing worse than to have plumbing problems when you have company. Called Pratt Plumbing and they were able to get us scheduled for service quickly. We were back in great shape within the hour. Kitchen drain had plugged and some leaks under the sink. We had a boot on the garbage disposal rot and leaking. He gave us a price up front and got everything done within that quote. Fast, friendly, and courteous service. Great company.

I had a leak under my shower in the concrete slab.not an easy thing to get to. I had jackhammered the concrete out to expose the copper pipes and find the leak to try and fix it myself. After doing all of that, I felt I really didn't have the tools or the knowledge to be able to repair properly, so I went online looking for help. Pratt's seemed like a smaller but highly rated company with some good references.

Just the type of company I like to do business with. And, the online information indicated they provide Free estimates.exactly what I needed. It was already later in the afternoon, but upon calling them, I was told they would try to send someone over to take a look at it that day, since I had already done all the work to expose the leak. Michael Webb was exceptional!

He looked it over and gave me three different options with price estimates and possible outcome considerations. I made my choice and he showed up early the next morning and went to work. Michael was great to work with. He kept me informed and showed me the progress along the way. He had to do a little more excavation to get his power press tool in place, but it all turned out good.

He got the job done for me and I was very pleased with the entire process. He even offered me the option for him to do the backfill and concrete repair work if I didn't want to do it. I will definitely be using and referring Pratt's Plumbing to anyone I know needing plumbing work. They are responsive, professional, dependable and from my experience absolutely capable.

Stay away from this company. First the tried to install osmotic water filter for kitchen sink. Multiple attempts simply unable to do it. Blamed the device, blamed the pipes, blamed everything but their own incompetence. Oh, be sure they billed for every visit though could not finish job, without leaks. Then, called them to fix small leak under utility sink.

Could not finish job. We came home, room flooded. The husband wife team on phone said just a coincidence. Sent someone out next day. Still small leak. Told us bad plumbing. To bad. Pay the bill. Different plumbing service came out, repaired in 5 minutes. Called culligan. Came out, installed osmotic filter in 5 minutes. No problem. No leaks. Don't be fooled by Pratts 25$ coupon. Unreliable and take no responsibility for their incompetent (and rude---you don't want to know) people they send out. Stay away from this place

Our water heater started leaking (19 years old) and needed to get it handled before the busy holiday. We called around to our regular plumber and company. Either a no call back or they refused to give us an estimate. Gary's Heating and Air recommended Pratt Plumbing as a reliable plumbing company. Calling Pratt had a service pro, John, at our door that morning.

They provided an estimate and he even brought the right water heater with him. John was very courteous, clean, and thorough. He explained all that needed to be done and went right to work. He came in right on the estimate and explained everything he had done and went through the operation of the new water heater. Pratt Plumbing has become our new plumber and hope all of their service pros are as good as John. Outstanding service.

We were very satisfied with the work. We appreciate Pratt Plumbing scheduling us so soon and getting the job finished promptly and professionally. We were surprised that the job cost as much but you get what you pay for what you may for. No legitimate complaints!

Our water heater started leaking so we were looking for a replacement. We called our usual plumber but got a voice mail saying they'd call right back. We called others that refused to give us an estimate over the phone. After a couple of hours with no call back, we called our HVAC company to see if they did water heaters. They said no but recommended Pratt Plumbing.

My wife called and was told about what it might cost. She asked them if they could do it that day. They showed up and looked it over and asked if she wanted it done. Of course we did, and it turned out that he even brought the right size with him just in case. He was fast and very professional. Everything was installed, checked, and explained. Cost was right on the estimate. We found our new plumber. It's been four days and still no call back from our other plumber. We highly recommend Pratt Plumbing.

I have told everyone! They overcharged me and did not make the repairs.$1161.60 for 7 hours then told me they charge 135.00 per hour for one plumber. It still didn't add up. I can't believe Gary Hans does not care about the way his business is handled.

We had some serious root problems in our pipes so we called Pratt Plumbing to help us out! Kiel came and helped us out so much and he was quick and efficient! He also explained everything and was super helpful for the future!

John does prompt, efficient work. He is knowledgable about many facets of plumbing and works till he gets the job done. Price is always reasonable and he asks before he does anything other than what he was asked to do.

I have used Pratt Plumbing for several years. Every time I have done business with Pratt its always been a great experience and I have always been treated fairly and feel all work done was professional and billed very reasonable. We recently purchased a new property and we needed some very quick help to address a potential problem. Andrea, John and Damon are very knowledgeable and friendly folks. They understood our plumbing concern and knew how to make it right. They were right on time, called first, were very neat, and most of all, John and Damon are real career craftsmen ( plumbers), not handymen.

My water heater had an intermittent leak for approximately 2 years until it finally decided it had enough of being in my house by becoming a constant leak. Of course, this was a Saturday night. I called Sunday afternoon after bailing out the drip pan about 100 times hoping it would heal itself while trying to barter with it.

I had a clogged bathtub drain and called another company out to take care of it. Over $400 later they told me that they were going to have to start digging up the pipe to find the trap and replace it and that it would possibly involve tearing out the bathtub.

They were quick to get back to me, true to the planned schedule.couldn't ask for better customer service.

Damon installed my new water heater today. He was very professional, showed my how to work it and went over everything he had done. Asked if I had any questions. Pratt Plumbing and their employees have always done a first rate job for me.

Poor workmanship. Poor customer service in follow up to complaints of poor workmanship. Unprofessional and poorly informed/trained service man sent to perform repairs. Very disappointed with each service call. Don't be fooled by the 25 dollar coupon. Will cost you more with multiple trips to solve problem, even basic issue like leaky faucet.

We had several tasks for the plumber professional to accomplish: install a gas stove, replace a toilet in our guest bath, and repair the shower handle in the master bath. Pratt Plumbing called to let us know that our service professional would be Kiel today and that he would arrive as scheduled.
