Tim was very personable and was able to fix four faucets. He had the parts that were needed so he didn't have to make several trips. The kitchen faucet was installed 18 years ago and is no longer available. We were so glad that Tim could fix it so that we didn't have to replace it with something that would not have been as nice. Tim was also able to determine the source of a leak with his detective skills. We are so glad that we discovered McAdams Plumbing.

Tim is a class act. The shutoff valve in my basement developed a leak and I needed a quick repair. Tim had the water turned off at the street in less than a hour. When he came to do the work he saw that the problem could be easily fixed with an adjustment to the packing nut and had the leak fixed in seconds. To top it off, he didn't charge me a dime despite my offers. Tim is is a professional, honest, hard working guy and I will be recommending him without hesitation to anyone looking for a plumber. Can't thank him enough.

These guys saved the day! Small company and you know who you were getting, not just someone assigned to the job. I was having a dinner party that night and my septic backed up. They were there within an hour and had it cleaned up by the time my guest arrived. Excellent customer service!

Tim was fantastic- super neat, professional and on time. He took care of our water line valve issues in short order and even went out of his way to take care of a few minor things like positioning the valves to make draining easier as needed. Would definitely recommend McAdams and use them again! The scheduler was very courteous as well and even called back and notified us when an earlier appt. slot opened so we could resolve the issue sooner.

I've lived in my home for many years and have always had no water pressure in my kitchen. I've called plumber after plumber over the years only to be left frustrated with them saying "we can't figure it out". ONE call into McAdams Plumbing and the woman who scheduled my appointment was even confident she knew what was wrong and instructed me through a few steps.

We had a leaky valve under one of our sinks that was old and degraded. Tim replaced both valves and the piping. It looks brand new. I should have had him do both our sinks. His work is always impeccable. He's the best plumber we've ever known. I recommend him highly for any plumbing work that needs to be done. He always goes above and beyond. His price is reasonable.

Excellent service and each problem solved. Tim is a very knowledgeable plumber. Tim and Danielle have owned McAdams Plumbing since at least summer of 2018. I have had Tim visit for a number of jobs over the past 1.5 years - and each time, Tim has solved the problem. He works efficiently, is timely, and on budget (has never gone over the estimate). Danielle books the appointments and is very careful.

She asks key questions to understand the issue, will sometimes she will have me text photos of the problem, and has been very accurate with scheduling time as well as giving accurate cost estimates. The most recent job was to correct a problem with our frig water dispenser which was present from Day 1 of move in (we couldn't get more than a thin stream of several fluid ounces to come out). Frig came with the house so we were not sure what was wrong since the ice maker still worked.

We finally called McAdams. Tim replaced the saddle valve with a proper connection, as well as corrected the inappropriate tubing between pipe and frig. Now we have cold filtered water coming out of the frig's water dispenser at a normal pressure. Yay!

I can't say enough good things. Tim showed up on time, was courteous, took care of the problem in a timely manner, didn't track any dirt in the house and what I paid matched what I was quoted. I know who I'll be calling when I have plumbing problems. The quote I received over the phone was a lot less than what I was quoted by another competing plumbing business. Kudos!

These folks, if not the best, are among the best. They did everything as asked for and then some. The issues that were of concern were taken care of way ahead of what was estimated in time. Tim, the service man, is very knowledgable, professional and like the rest of the entire McAdams team, was a pleasure to work with. If any plumbing needs arise again in the future, I know who I will be calling.

I had a fairly minor issue under the kitchen sink that caused us concern and wanted it fixed before it escalated. After calling McAdams plumbing Tim was able to come that day, evaluate the issue and inform me of the options. He resolved the issue quickly and professionally. We'll use them as our "go to" plumber henceforth!

Rick and Jacqueline McAdams run a small residential plumbing business. They are the best! They're the only plumbing company that I'll let in my house!

We weren't happy with our previous plumber so when the drain gets clogged, we tried McAdams instead. We called early in the morning, got a callback before their opening time and have an appointment set up for the same day. He showed up right on time and get the drain cleared quickly. Great service. We know who we'll call next time for plumbing service.

These guys are outstanding. Rick was really great. He is very straightforward and helpful. He was prompt and the work he did looks and works fantastic. I plan to call McAdams for all our future plumbing needs.

McAdams tried to do $400 of unnecessary work when all that was required was 5 minutes to replace a $9 part. The Vacuum Breaker Assembly was leaking from the top of my outdoor anti-siphon yard faucet. I paid $40 to have a plumber from McAdams Plumbing come out and look at the problem. I turned on the faucet and showed him the water coming out of the anti-siphon valve on top of the faucet.

He told me that the faucet had frozen and we needed to replace it. He said we needed to rip out the dry wall from our finished basement to gain access and that the job would cost $400, not including replacing the drywall which we would have to hire someone else to do. I did a quick google search on how to fix a leaking anti-siphon faucet and found out that it's a 5 minute fix with a $9 part from Ace Hardware.

It turns out that this is a common problem that any plumber would be familiar with. I bought the part and did the job myself in 5 minutes and everything works fine now. I just had to unscrew a lid with my hand and take out the old plastic part and drop in the new one. It's a common problem and the part is designed to be easily replaced. Anyone could do it. I'm not pleased that McAdams came out and charged me $40, then left me with the problem unfixed. It seems they either lied to me or are horribly incompetent.

Very rude! Don't know if they have an answering service (or maybe was a temp), but person answering phone was extremely condescending! All she would state is there is a $40 charge just to come to the house.

This company has helped me twice (different issues). The second time I tried to avoid calling them by doing the work myself and I was almost (so close) successful but there was a leak so I ended up calling McAdams. They came and not only fixed the leak (which wasn't my fault as it turned out - yay!) but replaced an old pipe and changed the handle too so it'll be easier for me next time. Rick is a great guy and the woman who schedules the appointments is kind and always answers the phone which is nice. I'm glad I found this company.

Friendly guy with a great wife who takes your call. Fixed three running toilets in no time and even made jokes. Will use this company again for plumbing issues.

First of all I want to say that the people I talked to were polite and friendly people, including the technician who came to my home. Unfortunately, being nice does not give me back $35 bucks that could have been saved during my first conversation with whoever answered the phone. I don't expect a front desk person to know what the technicians know, but this seemed like something they should have been able to tackle: They don't work on the issue that I was having, but refer out.

So my time and my money could have been saved by a knowledgeable office staff and because of that I am not really pleased. 2 stars for Rick being a nice dude and for a next day appointment time.

Everyone at McAdams was great, from the scheduling, through the estimating visit and the service visit. Rick installed a sump pump in my basement (none existed before), and he did a terrific job and was friendly and helpful the whole time. I think the price was reasonable, considering that the work is strenuous and involved, and takes several hours. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

A couple years back my water heater was leaking and required a replacement. Rick came out quickly and did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. I recently met another plumber, which reminded me of my great experience with McAdams Plumbing, and I thought I'd do the community a favor by sharing a positive review.

Great service! I called on a Friday at 3pm in Boulder, they were at my door in 30 minutes to give a quote on installing shower fixtures. They were able complete the job that next Monday morning. Not sure if they are the cheapest around, but if you are looking for FAST, quality work, give them a call.

These guys are great. I would recommend them to anyone. They charge for quality product and service and they back it up. About six months after having them install a hot water heater, I woke up with no hot water. Within 20 minutes a tech was at our house and fixed the problem at no charge. Even more impressive was the fact that the problem with the heater was most likely caused by the construction of our basement. McAdams didn't fight the warranty repair, they just took care of it. Service like this is what anyone would hope for when a problem arises.

When I moved to California, I rented out my place in Broomfield. As usually happens, issues arose and I needed a plumber. McAdams Plumbing was wonderful. They worked with both me and my tenant to ensure that the issues was resolved on time - which means they had to coordinate schedules with him and estimates/payments with me.
