We had Airrific install our new Heating and Cooling unit. And we purchased a Maintenance contract as well. Unfortunately, when we needed a new thermostat things went south. The technician was awesome. But when we questioned a 100%+ markup on the new thermostat, the owner literally got on the phone with my husband and screamed at him. Then hung up on him. Not such a good way to conduct your business.

Before Airrific, we called two companies after 5PM and both said they would send someone and never called back to confirm. Airrific sent someone immediately (WIlliam, very personable and thorough) and it was well past 8PM when he left. Without him we would have spend a very difficult night with no AC. Service: Repair AC

Todd came out to take a look at my busted A/C and told me that I had a freon leak somewhere. He told me that it would be a week before someone could get out to do a leak test that would cost $300 and that they would call me to set it up. In the meantime, he said he could fill my unit with freon to hold me over, assuring me that if it was a big leak that he would hear it, but otherwise a small leak would last months. Todd filled my machine, claimed to not hear a leak, charged me over $600, and then left.
The next day, my A/C was already not working again so I called out a different company, remembering that he said it would be a week before they could do a leak test. The new company sent a tech out 2 days later and found that I had no freon again. After putting a little bit in he heard the leak immediately and described it as the second loudest he's ever heard and said there was no way Todd could have missed it.
When he turned off the compressor, even I could very clearly hear the leak (a step Todd didn't bother to take). The repair tech, who came out later, was also able to immediately hear the leak. In the end, the new company found the leak, repaired it, and filled my unit with freon for less than Todd charged to do nothing. I called to request a refund for making such an obvious error but Todd refused and got upset I hired another company (who would wait a week in Florida summer for AC repair?).
He also tried to change the facts, claiming he said he'd have someone contact me and come out in 48 hours (he said a week, and in 72 hours nobody ever called me), claiming he would have refunded the freon if he'd come out again (he said at the time that I would have to pay for freon again if it all leaked out even in such a short time frame), and claiming he left in a hurry because of the rain (it didn't start raining until he was already packing up), which is also why he said he couldn't take a more careful look at the unit. All in all, a terrible experience. Go somewhere else if you want service that cares or service that isn't overpriced.

Great company will continue to use them to service and replace when needed at all of our investments. Honest company. I got a better unit and paid 2k less than the other quotes. Highly recommend this company and I don't normally rate companies but they actually earned the 3 minutes it took me to write this lol. They are GREAT! Highly recommended

We called them for a maintenance inspection of the air conditioning system in a condo unit. The employees have learned well from the owner how to gauge and scam their clients: they wanted to change the coil ( not necessary) at an exaggerated price and tried to scare us by saying all kinds of nonsense. I did not want these clowns touching my air conditioning anymore and since we paid them for two visits I have asked that the second visit be cancelled and that they reimburse me the balance for the maintenance contract.
It has been over a year and they never even had the decency to call me back. Forget about getting the reimbursement of the balance of the maintenance contract- it is not in their business ethics or philosophy. Stay away from this company, its owner and his employees. They will try to make you part with your hard earned money and give you a crummy and unreliable service.

Awesome job to Todd and his team. Unfortunately for me I needed two new air conditioner units as the sweltering heat approaching 90+. Within 72 hours the installation team arrived and did their magic to install two new trane systems. Todd's crew was competent and showed up on time. Most importantly they did a great job and we have cold air throughout the house.

They cheated my grandma. She says that they put in a used ac unit for expensive and the plaster and tape fell off the machine, they came back to retake it. And left it stinky, running constantly, and makes a ton of noise. He thought a lizard was chopped up, but offered little in the way of help. She just met with him in manatee claims court. Hoping the best for my grandma, but neither her nor I would recommend this company to anyone

It started out with redeeming a gift certificate to which we requested our A/C system be looked at. The technician was polite, knowledgeable and pointed out some potential issues that could be addressed. We agreed to the suggestion made and had the work done. That's when it got weird. an itemized charge for warranty processing fee of $85 When I inquired about the charge, I received a fluff filled response that only identified up charges and creative billing to me!
I was sincerely going to sign on for a yearly service with Airrific but, I get the impression they are dishonest and will not get my future business! I hope the upcharge of $85 made a huge impact in the company's bottom line. it seemed like they really needed it! Consumer beware!

Todd blew in about 4 years ago, I had no ac in the house and to his credit, he was quick to respond. I knew I wasn't getting a "deal" but I wanted air having been without for three days! They removed the old system and installed the new in a few days and off we went. A week goes by and unit wouldn't come on. He sent out an engineer who said it needed a quick start on the NEW unit, not part of the warranty, original order extra blah blah $350.00.
I decided I wouldn't call them anymore and rely on my home warranty contract. During the first 24 months the unit would freeze up periodically stop working and need service. I would have it fixed by the warranty various firms who showed up for $70 a pop and was about 4 times in that period. 2016, year 3 it started to get so bad, weekly AC failures, that I requested through the home warranty firm, an assessment of the entire unit and even asked Todd to come back and look. Todd was the only one who found the problem!
He said someone had sat on the IN PLUME box causing it do drop an inch, opening the entire bottom of the intake box. We have something now, as it has been sucking in hot attic air. As happened I already had another vendor coming in to assess the situation right behind Todd and I pointed out his observation. That vendor looked and said the system had not been compromised but had been INSTALLED THAT WAY, bottom open, no seal tape. (Todds CRACK TEAM).
To make matters worse, he noticed that the EXHAUST PLUME was installed in the same manner, bottom open, no seal tape! For nearly three years we have been sucking in HOT ATTIC AIR and blowing cold air BACK OUT into the attic! In addition Todds team installed the air handler sitting partially on the pan which meant there was no way to move the plumes into their proper position without lifting the air handler to a higher level.
This is likely why Todds team didnt bother to do it right in the first place. I had to hire a contractor to come in, lift the unit, rebuild the plumes and seal the unit for $1000.00. It has worked perfectly since then. I wrote a letter to Todd, including pictures for back up, asking for a PARTIAL refund of only half the work, $500. No response. There are many other providers who offer better service and quality out there. Airiffic calls once in awhile to suggest service but I wouldn't let them change the filter.

Do not use this company. They charge without telling you and then they didn't want to tell me what they were going to replace over the phone because they didn't want me to go to another company. he told me he was 'making his own notes' and wouldn't tell me the part they wanted to replace. Todd, the service 'manager' told me that I was not going to get refunded because the tech was there for a significant amount of time and he has to get paid for his work it can't be free. the service was supposed to cost $85 out the door. the tech ended up coming in with $170 bill without letting us know any up-charges he was doing before hand, he just decided and went ahead and did it without asking us first about the charge. super rude company, DO NOT USE!

Very incompetent operation. After multiple visits to repair an issue from their unit we purchased less than three years ago, we scheduled to have the owner, Todd, to make an appearance. Also, we had a maintenace check up in August and the unit "IS IN GREAT CONDITION". Upon his arrival he was, according to my business executive wife, extremely rude and condescending.
His only concern was CYA, and not the fact the unit is still having issues and the previous worker had left numerous spots with insulation exposed. Instead of attempting to make it right, he instead kept on repeating "you have no contract with us, you can go elsewhere". No need to worry Todd, we will!

Todd, the owner, was very nice and helpful.until he had the check in his hand. He sent over people that didn't have a clue to perform our installation. They tried to gouge us for more money by saying that our electrical was faulty. It was not. Then it took them two days to do a one day install. After a year, part of the system went out. We called Cool Today to fix it. Even though we paid for a one year follow up on our system, we didn't want these yokels in our home again. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Horrible service. My AC worked fine until I had them come and clean it. About an half hour after they left I noticed the house was getting warm. So I called them to come back. After they got back I was then told I need to buy a new part that was 450.00 dollars. I would never use them I called another company and all they did was correct a few wires that had been missed connected and I was up and running. I would never use people who try to take advantage of others.
