Prompt response to repair broken torsional spring that resulted in car stuck in garage. I am highly technical and showed up at end of job my wife initiated by phone with Kaiser while I was at work. Eric had finished the job - he was exceptionally professional and articulate, got us back in gear with a new install at a very fair price even considering after-hours rates. Nothing more one could ask for, and I would not hesitate to engage this enterprise again.

HORRIBLE COMPANY! Technician was an absolute JERK. Kaiser is the only company in Tucson that can replace a broken spring if it is inside of a sleeve. You may as well pay a little more and let another company do a conversion on your springs/opener. It's worth the few extra bucks to not have to deal with rude techs who just want to argue. I called to express my frustration with the tech and Billy, the person I was told was in charge, didn't have the guts to call me back. Very UNPROFESSIONAL.

Our Liftmaster garage door opener gave out today and we have had it for a yr and a half. Kaiser installed it, our home is only a yr and a half old. My husband was advised to called Kaiser emergency line because our Liftmaster is not only not closing our garage door but sarted making a weird nose and smoke started coming out of it. My husband called and there was no answer so he left a voicemail.
He gets a call back from a very rude tech/employee. He is very insensitive to our current situation. He doesnt ask my husband what happened, instead he tells my husband how he charges and around how much it will come out. My husband, very politely, makes him aware that the charge is not a problem and instead of the tech/employee saying "ok, I will be on my way", he proceeded by rudely asking my husband, "So you really need me to come out?".
Really Kaiser? Isn't it obvious that we really need someone to come out if we called the emergency line and if we made your employee aware that cost was not an issue. The odasity of this guy to no only be rude to my poor stressed out husband but to ask if he is really needed. Other neighbors have had the same problem as us and were advised to call Kaiser's emergency line. Surprisingly, not really, the same rude technician answered or called them back.
The fee to come out today at night is not cheap. I would figure his attitude would be empathetic and understanding. I get that it is late but then again he is on call/duty for the emergency line and he is going to get paid well for the hours it takes him to get here and resolve/fix the problem. Thank you Kaiser Garage Doors for the amazing customer service. We will be sure to give you an awesome review and keep our business with you!

Unbelievable. My dead parents house was broken into through the garage door. Replacing it should have been simple enough however it took like 4 weeks before it was finally finished. The replacement door did not come with windows on top, so my garage is a black hole. It did not come with any locking device so it was unsecure. I ordered a automatic garage door opener which was another fiasco and $400 more of my parents money.
This was approximately 6 mo ago. Two days ago the door was obstructed and hit something instead of stopping, and knocked itself off the tracks. I called for warranty service that apparently doesn't cover anything. Four days later they show up after being told they weren't needed, fiddle around unauthorized, for 5 minutes and bill me $225 more of my deceased parents money, There's no way I will do business, if thats what they call it, with them again. Steer clear of the Kaiser!

Due to a (continuing) pack rat invasion of husband's shop, he decided to eliminate the drafty, not-tight-fitting huge swing doors to the outside. He wanted to put in a garage door in place of the swing doors. We have used Kaiser in the past so he called them in late July for an estimate. The price was competitive and so he decided to use them for the door.
The wait time was estimated to be 4 months with December 4th given as the installation date. Lots of problems with getting help and getting parts were the issues. That was good because husband had to build the "framework" for the door. Last week husband decided he would call Kaiser to get an update and ensure that the December date was still good.
When he called, he was told that a purchase order had never been created. Which meant that a door was never ordered and we were not in the installation queue. There had been emails between Kaiser and husband, in which husband had told Kaiser that the price was good and to put him in the queue for installation. The person he talked to said he would investigate and call husband back (which did not happen).
So off we went the next day to Kaiser, with husband equipped with copies of emails, etc. I waited in the car and he was back in 5 minutes. Husband said they "were waiting for him" and that the door would be installed in 4 days! Then, he got a call that they would install it in 3 days. Kaiser showed up this morning, on time. The installer said it would take a few hours; he was done in less than that. The door works perfectly. We're happy. Great response and great customer service! We will use Kaiser again.

If I could give zero stars I would- that would equal the level of service I have experienced. As I write this review, I am on hold for a "supervisor " (9 minutes & 53 seconds & counting). The tragedy is the only service I require is squeaky doors- this is a new build & likely would take less than an hour. They have not shown up, or mis-scheduled twice now!
It is now one week later, for the third time they have not shown up as scheduled. I wasn't going to send this review as I wanting wait until the actual service was completed. Clearly that is not going to happen, yet again/ for the third time! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! UPDATE: They finally showed up (after my calling). While the office help- Delila, Alex- are unbelievably inept, the service technician was wonderful & did a great job.

Giving 5 Stars on INTEGRITY!. My situation is one that probably no one will ever experience. We moved into our new house that had nice insulated garage doors but no motors. Our contractor recommended Kaiser for motors and installation. Kaiser price for motors and install met or beat everyone else. Tech showed up when scheduled and install went without a problem.
After install doors worked perfect. Approximately 3 weeks later opened big door and track hung up on wheel and jumped the door up into the fire sprinkler in the ceiling of the garage breaking the sprinkler head off. Water went everywhere. Kaiser responded with replacing or original doors with brand new doors, new tracks and replaced some items that were water damaged to compensate for the incident.
Service Tech Anthony came out and did a 100% replacement and install of the old doors and tracks. Anthony showed true concern and apopogetic for the incident and in his 20 years of doing garage doors had never seen this happen. Anthony made sure and double checked tracks, rollers, and travel from fire sprinklers that if doors ever jumped track that this would never be able to happen again. Anthony's pride in his work and in the company made sure we were 100% satisfied before he left.

I had my garage door opener replaced 4-5 months ago. The Technician told me he was going to take care of the wall mount keypad on the outside of the garage. I thought he just reprogrammed it. Fast forward this week, I went to use it for the first time and it wouldn't work. After some reading and research the wall mount keypad isn't compatible with the new opener that was installed.
I called the office and was told that those aren't included with the new openers and was also told "I don't know why the tech didn't talk to you about it". However we can install one for $55.00 plus a service call fee. I cannot believe the audacity of this company! Neither one of the 2 technicians that were here never mentioned it! I even asked the tech that did the actual replacement to make sure the wall mount keypad was good. Terrible customer service, didn't even offer any sort of discount.

After 25 years of good service, we decided to replace all 3 garage door motors. Stephanie at Kaiser set up a day and kept me informed on when they would arrive. All installed and working in two hours. I was very impressed by the Wi-Fi app supplied by the manufacturer. Especially the ability you use my Amazon prime membership so that packages can be left inside the garage!

If I could give zero stars I would. They installed very expensive garage doors on my home when it was built 4 years ago. It has been nothing but trouble. It literally fell off the tracks and almost landed on our vehicles. Motor burnt out, rails had to be redone. Wall mounts fried. and on and on. Now the could have busted and that's "normal wear and tear". It might be, but when you have zero confidence in a company because all you have had is bad service that's a tough pill to swallow. You've been warned

Took weeks before anyone called us back for our request for an estimate. When someone did come, they never gave us a confirmation to let us know they stopped by, we only assume they did after they finding markings on the dirt for measurements. Still haven't gotten that estimate at this point, and they were supposed to come back last Tuesday, which turned out to be a no show.

Recently I had a new garage door installed by Kaiser. Pete, the salesman, came in the time frame he said he would and did not try to pressure me into buying anything other than what I wanted and made sure all my questions were answered before I agreed to purchase a new door. Andrew, the installer, also came within the specified two hour time frame and was very courteous, professional and efficient.
I am highly impressed by the workmanship and high quality of the service I received as well as the professionalism of the whole crew. Their prices are very fair and they are very honest and a pleasure to work with. Plus, my new door is a huge improvement over the old door in terms of quality and insulation. I would definitely recommend Kaiser Garage Doors and Gates for any garage door needs!

We bought a new garage door and tracks from Kaiser and every year the door comes off the track and bends. I called the manager Jim Warner who argued that it's normal and that's why they have a service department. I told him that the tracks were installed bent and the slightest thing will throw the wheels out of the track. He denies that being the issue and told me I should have bought a more expensive door if I didn't want problems with it every year. There leadership is broken and that reflects on the rest of the company.

Good response from salesperson after submitted a request for an estimate for a new RV gate. He came out within the week and said he'd give us a discount on our side security gate if we replaced it, too. We decided to do that because it was 18 years old. About three and a half weeks later, he texted to ask if they could install on Friday afternoon.
About an hour before the install, we got a text cancelling because the installer couldn't get to our house that day. My friend had taken half a day of vacation from work to be there. That was wasted. The installer came on Sunday morning, but the side security gate had the latch on the wrong side of the gate. He installed it anyway. They came out and removed it during the week, and then came back another day to reinstall it.
The reinstall has left us with a security gate that doesn't allow us to lock it. They said they would fix it, but they haven't made any adjustment to allow us to put a padlock thru the latch. The one day the installer was supposed to make a change, he never showed up. Our initial experience with the salesperson was positive and the quality of the gates is great, but the rest has been a hassle. Disappointing experience. Update: An installer came out this week after we texted the salesperson about our issue again. He fixed the gate while we were at work and sent pictures to confirm it was done correctly. Hooray! Happy they made it right and made this a better experience.

These folks are great! Had a damaged door occur over Memorial Day: called kaiser and they suggested waiting until after the holiday to avoid emergency costs; called first thing Tuesday morning and they said they'd have someone out the next day between 10 & 12; CJ arrived at 9:55 and had problem fixed in 15 minutes; very reasonable price, punctual and more; professional & knowledgeable Know these folks have done a lot of work for Robson up here in Saddkebrooke so they are familiar with the door types etc One of best contractors we've used since we've lived here!

Let me start by saying this is a review for a commercial property with 10ft roll up steel doors. Kaiser. We used them back in 2/15/16 first experience amazing. came out and replace a couple slats bill was 309.28 Billy was the tech 2nd time was 3/12/19 horrible had them come out to look at two doors tech "Not Billy" was there for 5 minutes said they both roll ups needed to be replaced and left without seeing me had a tenant sign a paper stating they would charge about 100 for the call out. called them talked to the manager he was nice. said he wouldn't charge anything and that they would be back out 3/12/19 to look at the doors while I was present.
Sales Rep showed up looked at the doors and told me yes we need to replace them instead of repairing them like they did back in 2016. said that they didn't want to fix them and warranty the work. the Sales Rep quoted me about $1000 give or take a couple hundred for each door installed.cool awesome I said. He told me he would email me with the actually quote that day did not hear from him until the next day and told me sorry gave you a bad quote each door installed is about $2300 each! cheaper less secure door would be $1500.obviously the sales rep doesn't know anything about the products they service and sell and should be fired.

Wow, they wow'd me with service Called Tech came out, inspected door and system, too old and broken to repair, quoted for new door installed and made appointment in a couple of weeks Techs showed up, removed everything except motor (nearly new and a good one), replaced the tracks, door, cables and as far as I can tell, new springs too They went so far as to clean the light lens and put in fresh bulbs Nice and quiet, either up or down So happy!

Exceptional service and price! I am a small biz owner- and for me customer service is everything. "The salesman and the installer gave us the kind of old fashioned service so many businesses no longer supply." Someone gently backed into our garage door. I called Kaiser first- and got a bid for replacement panels. After receiving 4 bids (2 of them had said the panels were no longer made or available and I that had to get an entire new door) I then knew how much dishonesty was out there in the garage door marketplace.
One of the bids for replacing the damaged panels was $20 less than the price quoted from Kaiser- but the way Kaiser's salesman represented himself and his product - made me feel more comfortable going with his company. During the installation their installer was very thorough and made sure I could lift the door in the event the power went out on my opener and to show me how it was balanced opening it anywhere I wanted to stop to see how that worked. (Being a woman - that weight was very important to me.) He gave it a total tune up. Our door had never operated quieter or smoother. We are very happy with Kaiser and now recommend them to everyone.

These guys are great. Our opener stopped working last week, and we called Kaiser to come out and replace it. The technician was able to fix the existing unit, and just charged us for the service call. That's the best possible outcome! We've had them out several times to replace a broken spring, etc. They always show up right on time (they call a day or two beforehand to set the appointment window), their people are very courteous and knowledgeable. We will continue to have Kaiser do all the service on our garage doors.

Kaiser has been to our home over 5 times now for the same problem. Our home is only 2 years old so this is a brand new garage door unit. Every time they "fix" the problem, within a short period of time the same issue arises. It doesn't seem like they really know what the underlying cause is even though they specialize in garage doors.

Update - lied and never showed and never called! After the original no-show by this company I called on my next appointment date to make sure somebody was going to come. I called at nine and left a message with the scheduler to confirm my appointment for 11. At 11 I still had not received a call so I called back again and the gal who looked at my record said it was noted the scheduler had talk to me and had rescheduled my appointment for the next week.
This was a lie! I told her I would not be home the next Thursday and did I need to be in order for them to work on the garage. she said she would check with the guy and call me back. She did not I have never heard from them again. I found someone else to do the job. Made an appt. two weeks ago to have my door sealed between 11 and 1 today. I just called and the guys is busy on a commercial job and wont be here. No one was going to call and let me know. I rescheduled for Weds. Lets see what happens

I've been meaning to write this review for a while because they deserve it. I've worked with Kaiser for a over 12 years now. I've only had to call upon them 3 times during that time. The initial installation, A general service call to maintenance the motor and this past winter when the springs snapped due to the freezing cold. In all 3 cases the Rep who showed up to do the work was professional, courteous and clean about his work.
I found the prices in line with other shops in the Tucson area and I've been happy with their customer service. Few businesses get a 3 star from me let alone a 4 but Kaiser earned it and I just hope that they continue to keep up their standards of service.
