This company, Direct Air Conditioning that represents Costco for all of their air conditioning needs and installations is the most expensive company on the market. It's been 3 years that I bought a unit from this company, which cost much more than those on the market, and today I had to replace that unit. When I reached out to Direct Air Conditioning for a quote, they quoted me $4,000 more than the company that did the job today at my house.

Both quotes were for the same equipment/offering the same exact service, and Direct Air Conditioning was 4K more. I do not recommend this company to anyone because it is much more expensive. It's a real shame that this is the company that Costco endorses and uses to represent their air conditioning service. I am a loyal Costco customer for years and and it's a shame that I was unable to go through them for the replacement of my AC.

I scheduled an appointment for today. Direct Air stated a technician would arrive at my resident from 9:am-1:00pm. No communication was given to me during the appointment window. At 2:00pm I received a call stating the technician was behind. I was asked if I still need service. I responded no I did not. I stated I would call another company. Poor customer service in my view.

6-8-22 So two days ago I get an email from Yelp that says business owner made a comment on my review. I go to read the note and you will notice it appears under my review with two stars from Business Owner Jose G. Please call me to discuss. I call ask for Jose tell them that according to email I received he wants me to call him to discuss. Guess what happens next? Crickets not only he doesn't come to the phone I am still waiting for a call back?

Fellow Yelpers this has to be the lowest of the low when a business owner writes on your review that they want to make things right but they have no intention to. The jig is up my first impression from four years ago was the most accurate they are bumbling idiots that don't know what they are doing except steal you blind and charge you $500. On a warranty item note Lennox has a ten year warranty.

Also note the authorized dealer that came to fix our problem told us they never setup the thermostat correctly? Yep that's right not only was I charged $500. On a warranty item but the moron that was here for 10 seconds never set it for a person living in South Florida with high humidity! Instead they left it the way it came in the box for someone living in the opposite temperature so it would say "feels like"! The thermostat I am told is used Globally. Stay far away from this company save your time patience and money they do not know what they are doing!

Do not use this company if you are expecting any degree of professionalism and timely services. My AC has broken for over two weeks and the company has returned 4 times. (charging $100+ per visit) and have done repeated testing without addressing the issue. Every visit, someone new is sent out who has no idea what the situation is. They were doing a leak test, but forgot to take photos of the AC unit and note what the pressure was so they had to repeat the test (which took 3 days and i had to have the AC off the whole time) They gave me and my landlord different information one day to the next. Super inconsistent not to mention innapropriate. I am a 22 year old female who lives alone and I felt uncomfortable by comments made by the workers.

Rolando was very professional and personable. He answered all my questions and was very thorough in checking my AC unit for issues. I am very satisfied with the service from Direct Air. I like that the company sends a text with the photo of the technician ahead of time so you know who will be coming to your home. Additionally, I like that they show up on time and ready to work on any issues you may have with your AC unit.

My air-conditioning system wasn't functioning and I was out of town working. I called the people who have been working on my system and didn't hear back from them for 24 hours. I called my neighbor who had installed a new system with direct air. He recommended highly calling direct air conditioning which I did immediately. I was scheduled to have an evaluation immediately and an appointment was made within eight hours.

The technician was a highly trained and very responsive person who sent me pictures of what has happened with my system. He presented me with alternative systems that were available and the next day the total system was installed including the removal of the old units. The speed of the service the effectiveness of the installation and the consideration that was given to us was excellent. I recommend direct air-conditioning to anyone.

Direct Air replaced our condo's 20 yo compressor & air handler. It's a big ticket home improvement item & cost. After all my home improvement installations I ask myself: "Would I use the same again again? Would I use the same company again? Would I recommend the same company to a friend?" Unequivocally & absolutely positively yes that I would go w Direct Air again.

Wow! Super professional! 1st of all, my phone call was answered. (I called two companies before this one and got voicemail) 2nd: The person who answered was very thorough with questions and assured me someone will be there within 3 hours. 3rd: A technician arrived in less than an hour 4th: The technician was super professional and very knowledgeable. Fantastic company! I'm glad my usual "guy" didn't answer!

I am a long-time customer of Direct Air. Company employees previously installed two central AC units at our residence. Their response and service is excellent. On February 11, 2022, Direct Air Technician Francisco Barrera and his two coworkers, installed new copper replacement tubing/lines, running from the air handler inside the residence to the compressor. Barrera and his coworkers did a great job. They are very professional and explained to me the work they were performing. I definitely recommend Direct Air for new AC installations, service and repairs.

This is a review of my two experience with direct air. My first one I would give 3 stars when I purchased two AC units a while back and the installation experience was average/ok. And my second experience would be a 1 star review, when I called in recently for a estimate for upgrading my thermostat to a smart thermostat. I was being quoted $325 and the rude salesman wouldn't budge on the price even after knowing I was a repeat customer that had spent a considerable amount of money with his company.

I decided to go with another company which charged me much less and did a great job. I am not normally one to write reviews but I am stating my point that the importance of a repeat customer shouldn't be ignored and the professionalism of this company is in doubt with rude salesmen.

My AC stopped working last night. Called Direct AC in the morning exactly at 7 am. They were able to send Francisco by 9 am. This gentleman was perfectly courteous and had full knowledge of these issues. Was able to fix my problem within 15 minutes. This is my go to company on any AC issue. Service: AC maintenance

We used this service to repair our ac after another company misdiagnosed the issue and tried to force us to buy a 2000 filter that did not fix the issue, direct air came, saw and fixed the issue during Thanksgiving, very quick and helpful. Saved out Thanksgiving dinner. And only a quarter of the price, of your ac breaks, who you gonna call DIRECT AIR!

Can't speak highly enough about my experience with Direct Air Conditioning. Reached out to them after the central AC unit at my tenant occupied property after gathering several quotes for similar replacement units. They responded quickly and professionally, their pricing was very competitive and the work was completed quickly and efficiently.

They also provided thorough communication throughout every step of the process. Most notable to me was they went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with the work even after payment for services had been received. High satisfied and highly recommended.

Joe the technician arrived promptly to diagnose a AC blower issue we had with our Lennox AC system. He identified the issue, checked on the warranty status with the manufacturer since they are a Lennox Premier dealer, and got a replacement blower under warranty and replaced on the same day. During the visit, Joe also identified the root cause of the issue, which is a blown vent that's leaking air and causing the blower to overwork and fail.

He spend the time to properly seal the leaked vent before installing the new blower. Also we told him the compressor outside sometimes struggles to restart, he tested and replaced the failing capacitor for the compressor, and that problem was also promptly solved. Talking about efficiency and professionalism! I would highly recommend and trust Direct Air Conditioning and Joe for all your ac problems!

I purchased my Trane air handler and compressor from Direct Air about 5 years ago for about $5000. My dwelling is a small condo unit. As others have mentioned, Trane is the worst. Their products are pure junk and they do not stand behind them. My air handler and compressor were defective from the moment of installation - lemons - and nothing was done to replace them.

In the past 5 years, I have spent more than another $5000 out of pocket on so-called service and replacement parts. This should not happen with a new AC. My previous Bryant lasted for years without any issues. This Trane model has required service nearly every few months - from the time it was installed. Over the course of 5 years, I have been without AC in my home for 22 days due to this defective product.

During those days, the temperature would reach 89 degrees inside my home. Most recently, the fan has stopped working - even though I maintain my unit, and have even paid extra for routine check-ups. In fact, it took me 3 months of daily searching to find a COVID-19 vaccine appointment in my area, and I had to cancel it due to the technician's schedule.

I probably will not be able to get another appointment. As it turned out, the technician showed up, charged me nearly $300 to replace a thermostat, only to have the unit stop again shortly after he left. The problem was not the thermostat. Another technician came about 6 hours later and said that the first technician was wrong - but I am still out the additional $300 for something not needed.

And last year, my beloved 12-year-old cat, who was trained as a service animal, passed away from the heat and smoke due to the defective Trane model. It was releasing smoke on a regular basis, which made it difficult to breathe - but the technician told me that Trane models normally do that, and you just have to get used to it. Now, I have learned that Direct Air no longer recommends Trane due to quality control and their constant defective products that are hazardous to humans and animals.

Very good service, especially when your AC goes down mid day on a Friday in August. Direct Air was at my house in just over an hour. Unfortunately, my 11 yr old problematic Rheem met its maker. I opted for a higher end, more powerful, and dependable replacement Lennox compressor and air handler. Friday evening, they installed a portable unit to keep us comfortable that night.

They installed the new unit without issue on Saturday. Although the new unit was more expensive than I originally anticipate, It's multi cycle feature uses 1/4 of the energy of the old unit. I am happy.

I called in for a simple duct cleaning and the team over at Direct Air Conditioning went above and beyond. They made sure to make the entire experience as painless and effortless as possible, while still being extremely transparent with me about the costs. I first met with a gentleman by the name of Matt who came over to give me a free estimate. He came wearing gloves and a mask and was very polite following all of the CDC guidelines within my home.

A few days later I had the pleasure of having Drew and William who did a killer job explaining to me what the duct cleaning entailed, and making sure that no stone was left unturned when cleaning my air ducts. The difference in the air quality of my home now is NIGHT & DAY. I could not have asked for a better HVAC company to work with, they definitely have my business in the future.

My ac broke and my house was 80o inside. I called direct air and they sent out a technician within 20 minutes. Andrew V. arrived and immediately diagnosed the problem. I had a problem with my AC ducts at our home. Gave a quick call to direct air and they sent out Andrew the technician to help us out. He was very professional and knew exactly what he was talking about when answering all my questions. Definitely knowledgeable of the task at hand and my AC is perfect, after he finished. Pedro Valdez was extremely cautious with the COVID situation. Work mask and gloves. He explained everything thoroughly and got right to work. He showed up within 1 hour and got my AC working very fast. The price was fair considering it was 9 pm. Great service! I would recommend to everyone!

Ahh to be young and stupid again like this employee. Perhaps just a bit more supervision would have remedied any faults I perceived. Just hate when a boy Hispanic thinks he's going to take advantage of me because of gringo behavior. I ended up helping a single man run Cuban business who ended up doing the same Job 4x cheeper and we were both so great full for each other. Ya I owed a few apartments this stoned kid had no idea I knew what the work was worth more then Him. It's all a learning experience.

But always chose the tiny business over the vinyl wrapped vans. And for the love of god every one except you knows you smell of Pot. Just buy some axebody spray! LoL honestly jelly you were. High already and I wasn't. But I was losing my shit over a house going into the high 80s.

Pedro from Direct Air was an amazing tech. He was quick, efficient and friendly. My blower motor was acting erratic and only turning on intermittently. A quick return and I had AC again I have used this company numerous times now and they never fail me

I like this business a lot: they make prompt appointments, they answer calls after hours, they come on schedule, they use modern tools like texting confirmations and emailing a tracker that shows the technician's real-time location on the way to your house - that is pretty awesome - no waiting around and guessing an ETA. Work has always been good too.

I really like Charles (and request him when I have an issue). The prices are reasonable (as far as a/c goes at least - it's expensive generally) and I'm always happy with the results.

So I am at work and my son sends me a photo that the AC panel is out. So I call Direct Air nice lady says she will call me back. Three hours later hubby calls he just got home and the house is hot 81 degrees. So I call Direct Air again and they tell me someone is on their way around 6 PM I should hear from technician. When I get home to my hot house and hubby is already in the pool cooling off.

The technicians arrive not one but two. It seems that the FPL on call device I have been useing for years does not work with this unit. So I have them disconnect it from the system. Now we are up and running again. Thank you Direct Air for coming the same day. I know we had our issues but you are showing you stand behind your product as promised. You know the company that runs the ad you need to fix your AC as you don't want a hot wife. Well in my house you don't want a hot husband and for that I am truly grateful.

Pedro (technican) and Will came to my home within a few hours of calling. My AC unit (have 2) was very challenging to fix. The unit is older and parts are hard to find. Will and Pedro did Not Give Up! They stayed very late (8:00 PM) to make the AC work so that we would not suffer over the July 4 holiday. I give them Both 5++++ stars! Would Very Highly recommend. Good Service, Honest, Tenacious and a pleasure to have working in my home.

The technician (Pedro) showed up on time and found the problem quickly. Our unit need to have its coils cleaned. Pedro also found out that our outside units needed to have the pipes insulated. It took a couple of hours and the unit worked great afterwards.

Direct Air arrived on time to give me a quote; service was polite and professional. Quoted price was significantly higher than a couple of smaller providers gave me, but since I was replacing the unit as a result of vandalism perpetrated by one such provider, I was willing to pay up for a more reputable firm. Direct Air said they could do the work a few days after the quote.

My first contact was for an emergency repair and the technician arrived on time, then diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly. I have since used them for routine maintenance and have always been pleased that they take the time to explain what they are doing and why. I plan to keep them for all A/C work on my house.

My ac was freezing up and my friend referred me to Direct Air. I called in the morning and by the mid day the day the tech was at my house. In lees than three hours my ac is cooling perfect. They are fast and serious in what they do.

I have been client of this company for more than 9 years. Unfortunately I am stuck with them. I have seen more that ten technicians during this time (always someone different) and they always promise everything is going to be all right after taking your money.
