Company was recommended by our insurance company but unfortunately their communication is very poor. Once they give you a quote they will continually contact you to agree but will not really provide answers to your questions. We did have them do the work, insurance claim for roof and gutters, and they did not seem to know what they were doing when they were actually doing the work and we were not able to communicate with the crew while they were on site.
After reviewing finished product, it was obvious they did not add back the attic vents they removed, put one back on the peak run where there were initially 3, and they added a solar vent fan but put it in the incorrect location (too low) so heat still builds up in the majority of the attic. Been trying to have them come out and go over the work but all they tell me is that it is complete and they would appreciate payment. Really poor experience and they apparently aren't capable of even attempting resolution

I was not looking forward to this but these guys made the process very easy. From working with my insurance to looking at my options, they were extremely helpful and very responsive to our needs. I especially appreciated the before, during, and after pictures of the work which showed the quality of their work. Service: Roof installation

Wilson roofing was recommended by my insurance company, USAA, last year in October and they received their insurance payment of $7.3k in November. My roofing work was not complete until February time frame of this year after being pushed back for months. I had asked them multiple times to please come put a tarp over my roof as it had been leaking when it rained when they said they would but no action was taken.
Their communication or lack there of I should say was terrible during the whole process. I would have never gone with this company if it hadn't been for my insurance. Never recommending this company.

In the process of selling our old house, inspection revealed roof damage. Wilson was amazingly responsive and not only provided two options for us but also were able to work us into their schedule to get the roof replacement done before closing. The work looks great. Really great job. This is an extremely professional and well run company. If you need roof repair or replacement, do yourself a favor and call Wilson.

I was pleased with their communication and quick response. Unfortunately I could not be present for the work, and simply passed along the inspection report. Even though there was no acknowledgement of the report, I did get a prompt estimate back after they came out to look at the roof. It was a fair bid, and they were recommended. I have no idea what they did, so to the owners, I would highly suggest some before and after photos. Many vendors are doing this now, not just rooofing.

My first roof replacement was my ranch style house in Westlake and Wilson was attentive. My recent roof replacement (hail damage) for my townhouse in Tarrytown was very frustrating. My calls would go unanswered and I was kept in the dark for many months waiting for the work to start. My neighbors who hired roofing companies weeks after I did, got their roofs replaced MONTHS before I did. Glad the ordeal is over.

When I signed the contract with Wilson Roofing, I was told it would be several weeks before they could do my roof. I appreciate being told beforehand about the wait time. When my turn came, the workers came on time, and since my house is mall, did the job in half a day. As far as I can tell, they did a great job. I would recommend this company without reservations.

AVOID THESE GUYS! We called Wilson roofing to check a roof leak we had in our house, after coming over they noted that the roof was old but they could perform a fix. I got the quote which I found high but agreed since the company was recommended to me. After a few days another guy came over to perform the repair, he stayed 10 minutes on the roof and left.
I assumed he forgot something but to my surprise the company claimed that all work was done. I have the camera recording were I can see the person staying for no longer than 10 minutes performing the repair. I climbed on the roof and noticed no work done on the location of the leak. I called the original guy asking how this could be correct, and if the repair indeed was supposed to take 10 minutes why was the quote so high.
The response was that a company as large as Wilson roofing has a minimum quote and they could not charge less than that. I asked why a test on the leak was not performed and he said that a water test was extra, I couldn't understand how the original quote could not cover that. The person assured me that the leak was fixed and I could probably not identify the work done.
One week later during heavy rain the leak was still present. I called fuming over the phone asking again if they stood by the claim that this 10 minute fix was enough since the leak was still present. Their answer was that the fix had no guarantee! If I wanted them to come over an inspect it would be extra I decided to call the central office stating the issue, they seemed more concerned about the issue but asked me for a few days for them to perform an investigation, they assured me I would get a call back after 2 days.
I never got a call back, instead after a couple of weeks they sent an email stating that we had not paid the repair. Our answer was that we were not going to pay for the repair since the repair was never done. Several weeks passed by, they contacted my wife who decided to settle with them for a quarter of the original quote (she just wants to get rid of the headache).
I still don't understand how they think they deserve any payment. Furthermore, they could have caused extra damage since they came and pretended to perform the repair. There are two options that I see here for which anyone should avoid business with this company: 1. They can't be trusted. How is it possible that a roofing company could not identify and fix a roof leak? (I got into the attic, found the leak, found no repair done on the location) 2. They are predatory. They pretended they performed the fix because they wanted to get a full roof replacement

Couldn't be more pleased with how fast I got an estimate and how quickly the work was done. The repair team explained what they were going to do and then gave me an update when done. Great work. We discovered during heavy rains a leak from a vent pipe area. I contacted Wilson and within a few days had a response and a time for them to provide an estimate. After climbing on the roof and looking at the area from inside, the tech was upfront about most likely repair needed, as well as high side costs if plywood replacement was required. Later that day I got a formal estimate and easily approved it online (follow directions here.
First approval is saying you agree to e-signature, second approval if for the estimate). Within a few days we had a repair timeframe. I got a call a few days later and the tech said he could come out that morning, which was fine. He arrived, did some work, left to get a different part, returned and made all repairs. Everything was done within the estimate.
No high side charges needed. Tech was professional, friendly, worked cleanly, left no mess and we are happy with the work done. Considering the parts and labor shortages these days, I am very pleased with working with Wilson Roofing. Call them and get your estimate. Well worth your time doing so.

We had a small roof leak on a three-story townhome. Wilson Roofing was recommended by a neighbor so I gave them a call. Provided all the details and was told someone would call me within 2-3 days to schedule. Got a call that same day from Coby at Wilson - he was in the area and asked if he could stop by to take a look - sure! I did not expect that he would be able to access the roof as I usually see lifts used for that purpose in our complex, due to the three-story units. Coby was able to use a very tall ladder to get up on our attached neighbor's roof, then from there he somehow (without a ladder) was able to access our roof. Coby provided detailed pictures and a description of what he found and sent a work order the next day. Coby called the next day to see if they could send someone out that day to do the work - sure! Adrian from Wilson came out, accessed our roof the same way Coby did, and patched the leak. Coby and Adrian were very professional and friendly and the repair ended up costing way less than I expected.
We haven't had a good rain to test the repair yet but based on all of my interactions with Coby and Adrian I'm 100% confident that the job was done right. I would highly recommend Wilson Roofing and will definitely use them again for future roofing work.

From my first inquiry, Ralph Wilson and team have been very responsive. We had some rotten soffit/fascia boards that needed repair, and our painter wasn't comfortable replacing. After weeks of searching for a carpenter, we finally thought to call Wilson Roofing. Jamie Slayden inspected the project soon after, and asked for some tolerance while scheduling.
Who hasn't learned to appreciate patience and perseverance during this pandemic.one of a few positive to come from Covid! We were under the impression the small project would be addressed in a few weeks. However, Monday was out lucky day! Wilson sent a wonderful team out and the job was completed that afternoon. From removal of the rotten wood, to the repair and applying fresh paint, the house is ready for the approaching holidays! The Wilson crew was very professional, gracious and light hearted! The epitome of customer service. I would recommend Wilson for any roofing job.

Let me preface this by saying I used Wilson Roofing about 10 years ago and they were amazing. So when my new house needed a new roof, I immediately went with them. First they missed 2 appointments for inspection. I let that go. I was told my roof would be replaced the first week of July. Well, that came and went with zero communication. Several weeks later it was finally replaced.
I was told the job would take 2 days. They finished in 1. They finished in 1 because they left a mess everywhere, wrappers from materials, cigarette butts, nails, etc. The roof is uneven. The gutters are crooked and missing screws. They keep telling me that Wilson isn't responsible for the gutters because it's a different company. Wilson selected and paid the sub-contractor.
They killed and trampled a lot of my landscaping. They removed ALL of my landscaping lights and did not put them back. I'm a couple months past completion and have been invoiced already despite still not having the issues with the roof identified by their own staff resolved. Select a different roofer. I definitely wish I would have.

Very disappointed in this company. Rather than being upfront with the work, they keep you in a 4-6 week miscommunication thread. Then when you call them out. their response is " insurance wasn't going to pay us enough". I learned in this roofing/insurance business that a reputable company will work with your insurance adjuster but greedy roof company won't. My insurance company increased payment based on talking with the company! I'm amazed they were so highly recommended, even my insurance company was shocked by the bid!

I hired Wilson Roofing to install a new roof following a hail storm. They were not the low bid & one reason I chose them was they found damage not included in the insurance adjusters report. They said they would resubmit and could have it added to my claim. This was never done despite all the promises. In fact I Tami fed them about 30- days before the filing deadline.
Someone came out & took measurements & they never filed the claim. It was all a lie to get my business. I deeply resent their attitude & would never recommend a firm that works this way.there are too many other good choices. Crooks!

Wilson Roofing was excellent to work with. We were selling our house and knew we needed to get it done quickly. They worked with us to get it scheduled and competed in a timely manner at an extremely fair price. The quality of work was incredible and completed in a single day. They're very professional and courteous and we have already referred them to our neighbors. We're truly thankful for their great work.

Wilson Roofing is my go-to roofer. I have recommended them to all of my friends and they have nothing but great things to say as well. They will work with you every step of the way and ensure that your roofing problems are taken care of in a timely manner. Also, their crews do a great job of cleaning up (something many roofers lack).

A rainstorm had loosened the flashing at the base of my 'stovepipe fireplace chimney' on the roof of my house. Wilson Roofing checked that chimney flashing, and secured it better with screws instead of roofing nails, stopping the water leak into the pantry closet in the kitchen. They then checked and secured all other flashing points on the roof, along with any wind damage to the ridge-vents running along the ridges on the top of the roof itself.
I was 13 years into a 30-year dimensional roof, and felt no other repairs needed to be made. But, be aware of future very strong straight line winds, in the Austin area, because even without hail damage, they can still damage your house roof, and cause hidden water leaks. My house had been built in 1981, and several hidden flashing problems had appeared over time.
I wanted a minor flashing problem to be permanently fixed. Wilson Roofing sent out a very experienced carpenter, who removed the old cedar shake between two roof levels on the front of the house, and replaced the original two-piece metal flashing channel with one custom piece of metal flashing channel, and using a newer siding material, to replace the old cedar shake itself. (Wilson has their own custom metal forming shop, and apparently the original builder did not in 1981, or chose not to use it, when a custom length of flashing was needed). Wilson then painted the replaced siding to match the rest of the house siding color. Now, thanks to custom metal work by Wilson Roofing, the original leak from 1981 no longer exists!
Two problems were fixed in the same contract, and their work was excellent: an original construction mistake from 1981, and the need to secure roof flashing better, in this new era of stronger and stronger storms, sweeping across Central Texas, and the rest of the country.

We have used Wilson Roofing on several different occasions and have always gone beyond the scope. In particular, they had to replace some shingles where a tree overhang had scraped them off, and they trimmed the trees back enough to where that would not be a problem for awhile. They just completed some repairs today, and we actually watched their guy nail in parts of our pergola that had come loose.
Definitely not part of the scope, but greatly appreciated! He also looked for a leak that may have been causing water damage over a window, and that was not in the roof repair category, either. I will continue to call them whenever we need a trusted roofer.

Wilson goes above and beyond to get the job done. Prompt responses, professional inspectors, an Austin original! Cody, Mark, James, and Kim are all ready to jump in when I have called in for help. Great workmanship and clean job site. Cody came out and patched the roof before a major rain because they were not able to work at our home before the rain, diverting major leaking that could have occurred without the patch.

I can't review their work but I can certify their workers are rude, disrespectful trespassers. After completing work on my next-door neighbors property, while I was standing in my own yard in clear view working, one of their workers stopped at our driveway entrance, got out and used the construction toilet within my property line. (We're at the tail end of a remodel).
I politely approached him and told him this wasn't an open construction site, he wasn't working at our property and that he was trespassing.and if he had simply asked to use it, I would have said yes. He stormed off and called me a "F-ing A-hole" and sped down the hill.

Highly recommended. David Grant, Sr. Estimator for Wilson Roofing, was professional, very helpful in explaining how the insurance and installation process would work, and as responsive as any contractor I've worked with. I emailed him off-hours several times (even during the weekend), expecting at best a response the next business day, only to find the next time I logged in he had responded.
He worked with my insurance firm, even correcting a miscalculation that saved me a lot of money. The work was VERY briskly and professionally managed by Clayton Portugal: The team arrived on time, worked for two days in 100+ weather, cleaned up afterwards. 100% satisfied with this great, responsive firm, highly recommended.

Run far, far away. These guys are complete crooks. They will run up their estimate as high as they possibly can. I wanted to get an honest opinion from them on some roof repairs and they sent me a $2000 estimate. I talked to two other roofing companies and they said no work was needed. They seem like they want to get a huge bull out of any job. They are only looking for a sucker.

I cannot say enough good things about this company and the great experience we had. I was given their name from Facebook and a neighborhood group page. After Mark came by and gave us our consultation, we were totally impressed. He is easy to talk to and work with, gave us a really fair quote, and made everything simple. He was patient with our crazy schedule and making time for the installation, even though it took us months after the quote to actually pull the trigger.
On install day, his team was EXTREMELY prompt and professional. They were SUPER quick and did an extremely beautiful job, even in this horrible Texas heat. GREAT WORKERS! We are over-the-moon happy with how they fixed damage to our roof, painted the vents to match, and cleaned up to perfection afterward. The product looks perfect and matches our house nicely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We got 5 different quotes for a new roof, Wilson wasn't the cheapest but they were the friendliest and they were on time & they explained everything. They did the whole roof in one day 7:30 am-3:45 on& hauled off all the junk, came out and showed me everything that they did. Yes I recommend them to anybody that needs a new roof

I contacted them to fix a leak in my metal roof. They came out, looked things over, said it could be fixed, but that fixing it right would be involved. They talked about how you wouldn't want to just apply lots of caulk, but fix it right. Sounded good to me - I told them I wanted it fixed right. The bid included removing the ridge cap, installing flashing.
After they finished their work, I was a bit perplexed - lots of caulk, I couldn't see any signs that they removed the ridge cap or installed anything - just lots of caulk. The first big rain we get and it still leaked. I contacted Wilson. They quickly came out to take a look, got in the attic, talked about the next steps. Of course they couldn't get up there while it was wet - I understand that.
I waited a couple of weeks - didn't hear one word from them to try to schedule any work. Contacted them again. Was switched from one person to another. Finally someone comes out. I'm then told that to fix it right, I need a new roof. Now that might be true, but why did they bid $750 to fix the leak, assuring me that it was to fix it right?
Another weak attempt was made to address the leak, smearing more caulk around the problem area. It still leaks. I asked for my money back, no response. So much for that one year warranty. I wish I could post pictures of this - it would tell the whole story. Email me if you want to see the bid and the pictures I took of the roof. fritz.boehm@gmail.com Beware!

This is bizarre because I've used them before and was satisfied with the work. Needed a quote to fix my roof from another company install that left a gap and needed flashing to fix about 20 feet, no big deal, right? Wrong! Quoted $15k, Yes, $15,000 dollars to fix! Absolutely insane and doesn't make sense! I could put a whole new roof on for that. Got another quote for $1500. Lost a repeat customer for life.
