We had a terrific experience with Todd and the Dal-Rich team. From the first meeting he listened to what we wanted and came back with a design that blew us away and was on budget. He laid out the plan and timeline in advance so we knew what to expect and when. He dealt with our HOA and handled all permitting and planning so we did not have to mess with any of that.

His communication was great, we texted frequently so we were always aware of what was going on and there were no surprises. The work was done professionally and the attention to detail was flawless. Let me begin by saying I should have trusted Yelp reviews on this place. I will echo and reinforce the other comments by saying Todd personally dropped the ball with me. I contacted the company online and Todd called me back. He had me send photos and a survey and he would get back to me on a patio design. I never expected him to call back and, he didn't.

I waited 7 days and texted him if I was going to be contacted for this or what was happening. He texted me back to meet him a few days later at a specific time. Well, the time came and went and, no Todd. No phone call, no text, nothing. I texted him hours after the appointment he set and told him I would be telling everyone how this played out. I don't care how good the work and craftsmanship is with a business, if you don't have integrity and do what you say you are going to do, it will catch up with you and you will end up having to defend yourself.

Do not trust this place, if they cannot hold simple appointments, they probably will disappoint with everything else and you will suffer the consequences of their lack of integrity.

Dal-Rich is an exceptional outdoor living design & construction company. After interviewing numerous companies in the Dallas area, Dal-Rich set itself above & apart from the rest with their amazing vision for design and breathtaking portfolio. In just a few words, they exceeded all of my expectations! Todd and his team worked thoroughly through all our questions & concerns and addressed every detail, which gave my wife and I the confidence to select Dal-Rich for our project.

From day one, we had a very clear vision of what our new outdoor oasis would look like. The second phase of our project with Dal-Rich was the most important. Dal-Rich was wonderful at handling all necessary paperwork, permits, and changes with both diligence and ease. We had a great experience with Todd Lueke and Dal-Rich Construction when we updated our patio in 2016. Todd had some great ideas for our oddly shaped patio and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. They were on-time, priced fairly, and did a beautiful job with our backyard kitchen and patio roof. I really appreciated how Todd communicated every step of the project. We recently hired Todd Lueke and him team at Dal Rich Construction to design and build an outdoor living environment after seeing one of there other beautiful projects for some clients of mine at a party we attended. We were very impressed with the design and overall finish out of the project. Todd Lueke, the owner and Senior Designer at Dal Rich came out and visited my wife and I, and seemed to have a clear vision of what we wanted.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! After talking about doing an outdoor kitchen for the past 7 years, we finally did it. We called several design companies in the North Dallas area, and either they never called back, or came by took a few pictures and we never heard from them again. Dal-Rich, Todd, called us immediately to set up an appointment. We met with him, and after he took numerous photos of the area we wanted to improve on, set the ball in motion.

Within a week we had great renderings of what they suggested and also incorporated the design my husband wanted as well. The workman ship and quality of the work far surpassed our wishes. We couldn't be happier. Not only is the work and craftman ship amazing, but all the staff, from the office manager, our wonderful Alison, project manager, and all the workman who had a part in making our dream kitchen come true.

Also an added plus to have the owner be a part of the process from the beginning to the end. Thank you guys for making our home even more beautiful than it already was. Now we are gearing up for phase three! You can't go wrong with this company. We definitely give them a 5 star rating. *****

After researching several outdoor living contractors in the DFW area, I decided to go with Dal Rich Design and construction for my pool pavilion with an outdoor fireplace, kitchen and landscape project. The value of working with Todd Lueke and his team brought allowed them to create a beautiful outdoor living space that tied our personal style along with our stated needs and wants. Hats off to Dal Rich for exceeding our expectations. I would definitely recommend them.

Very poor service. I contacted them on 9/11/17 to come look at my house and provide estimate and design for outdoor patio. Was told someone would contact me to schedule. Never heard from anyone. I had to make numerous attempts to get someone to come out. Was finally told that lead designer was out of the office for another week. I finally got Alison to come to my home on 10/20/17 almost 5 weeks later.

She stated she will have estimate and design on 10/27/17, Never heard from her. I hear from her on 10/31 and she says she will have them in a couple of days. But she wanted to give me a number to see if it was in the "ballpark" of what I was looking to spend. I advised it was, and have never heard back. I've e-mailed Alison 3 different times with no reply. It is now 11/16/17. I've done a lot of remodeling and work with contractors regularly over the last couple of years and this is one I will not be using or recommending.

Thank you for your excellent work that was completed at our home. Your staff is outstanding and we wish to commend your associates Miguel, Fernando, Ignacio and Isas. They are so professional and took their time in presenting us with the most beautiful work of art that we could have ever imagined.

Scheduled an appointment, Todd came over and snapped some pictures and walked through the process. He said he'd get back to me in a week. After two weeks, I called and spoke to him. He said he was out of town and would get back to me in a week. I called him a week later and left a message. Nothing. A week later, I sent an email and left another message. Nothing.

Guess my project wasn't fancy enough for him/them. Terrible customer service. I don't care how talented you are. With an attitude like his, poor costumer service will eventually catch up with this business. For shame.

I just wanted to take the time and let you know how pleased I am with Dal-Rich. You have built many fine upscale projects in my neighborhood. Quality always costs more, but your bid was right in line. Your crew foreman, Tommy, was awesome and his crew was neat and respectful. Thanks again for the great job

.In spite of having to work through TWO snowstorms, rain, and muddy ground, you built the most incredible project! My wife and I are SO thrilled with the finished product. Your crew was very attentive to detail, they were extremely professional, they took care of our property as if it was theirs, and they cleaned up every bit of mess from the construction.

After 6 months, work still not complete. caught in lies about inspections. damages to house and yard. blamed shoddy design on workers. what we got after signing contract was not what was in contract.

I am writing to commend your employees, Augustino and Antonio. They were so nice, pleasant and considerate. Their workmanship is excellent and I couldn't be more pleased. Even one of my neighbors commented on the excellence of the job. I hope you will place this letter in their personnel files to commend their outstanding customer service

6 months and job not done. damaged home and yard. design defects blamed on workers. caught in lies when/if we could get ahold of them. what was built was not what was discussed nor in signed contract.

The quality of workmanship we saw in your product led us to believe you were the best choice for us. Jeff was a pleasure to work with and the crew was conscientious and did a fantastic job. What a waste of time. Set up an appointment, discussed our vision for a backyard kitchen. We were told we would have an estimate in 5-7 days. We went out and picked out all of the accessories, we were excited about our new project. Several weeks passed, we heard nothing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called the office. Just wanted to make sure they had my correct information. I was informed they were busy and that I'd have my estimate by the next day. Still nothing. Thanks for the courtesy. Taking my cash elsewhere.

DAL-RICH DEBACLE-- I made over 20 calls and e-mails to Todd over the last 3 years to resolve this issue. Most recently, an urgent e-mail and phone message 5 days ago to have one final chance to resolve, still no response---so I guess I need to share this situation. I chose Dal-Rich to build an extensive patio/bar/arbor/outdoor kitchen and paid a premium price based on the promise of service and workmanship. Todd sold me that a patio of this size, the foundation needs to be done correctly to support the mass amount of weight.

And the work I have seen on other bars was very good. It started with a job being delayed 3 months late. Then it was a crack that appeared in the granite. I was kind enough to allow him to fill it--versus having to replace the slab. (nice on my end to save him $4,000- wrong decision I now realize as the filling came out). The job took 2 months longer than planned.

Within 6 months, settling occurred and over time the patio has settled over an inch. As a result, granite is cracked, large cracks appeared in the bar, and one 8 foot section of the bar needs to be rebuilt as it is loose. Two granite pieces are separated with a large gap. Flagstone is loose/mortar cracked etc. My bigger concern is the foundation, and future issues.

I have had the patio looked at by 2 contractors and both believe that there is probably a structural issue in the foundation--not able to support this amount of weight. I intend to get an engineer to review as they are concerned more settling could continue. Service --I have begged Todd to repair my patio for over 3 years-- even offering to pay for the repairs myself.

I have e-mails going back to 2010. He came by a couple times with promise to fix.never to be heard of again. I have left multiple phone messages with no response. The 2 contractors both told me they would have stood behind the job and repaired the work as this is not normal settling. I am fathomed to believe that a 4 year old outdoor kitchen can have over $9.000 in repairs to fix the bar, flagstone, granite, bar etc. I would advise you to be very cautious when picking a contractor If you want to come by and see it for yourself, feel free to contact me.
