Great service with a professional and courteous staff. The office staff is phenomenal. Always answered or returned phone calls promptly and courteously. The technician is also great. He was kind enough to let me know when he was leaving, locked my gate and advised me how long to wait before letting my dogs out. Thanks to Village Green, my neighbors always compliment me on how great my lawn looks.

Long story short, my husband and I bought our first home and our yard was SO green and thriving. with weeds. We did not know that at the time but we took some photos and shared with Ken at Village Green. He explained the different types of weeds and said we hardly had any real grass. He explained what he and his team would be able to accomplish and how they would accomplish it.

He is very knowledgeable and you can tell Ken is very passionate about what he does. We signed up for the Fertilization & Weed Control + Insect Protection plan with the Village Green team and could not be any happier with their service. What we especially love is that they are a small team so it is almost always the same team member (Hi, Orlando!) coming out for the services.

We like this because we feel the service application is consistent. Another thing that we really like are the reports that get sent to us after every service. The report shows who serviced the lawn, the time, temperature and wind speed during the service, what was done, what was observed and some recommendations. The reports also include a short bio of the team member who performed the service so we felt it was a nice touch. Ken also sends out newsletters and posts YouTube videos which we have found to be helpful. Overall, my husband and I are very pleased with the Village Green team. If you are looking for a great team to care for your lawn, give Ken a call. You will not regret it.

After new landscape was installed last year, Village Green/Lee reconfigured part of our irrigation system and added a new zone. Lee listened to our concerns and went to work. Work was completed to our satisfaction. This year we contracted with Village Green for a Sprinkler System Maintenance package. Lee came out last week for the first visit- inspected all zones and made necessary repairs. Lee is very knowledgeable, thorough and professional. We appreciate the quality of his work. Thank you!

We enjoyed working with Ken (owner) but unfortunately we needed to cancel our plans before work began. Without asking, Ken offered to refund our deposit in full and followed up with a check in just a couple of days. High integrity.

Hanna and her team saw me struggling to get a dead plant removed from my yard and took time to lend a hand. it may have been 5 or 10 min. but it meant the world to me as it would have taken me all day. When it is time for my project I will call this company!

Ken, Hannah and team are the best. I don't think I've worked with a better service provider or one that cares more about doing right by customers. They do excellent work, and their proactive follow-up and diligence in fixing any "punch list" items were much appreciated. I would definitely work with them again. Very highly recommended.

Village green was excellent to work with. During the freeze this winter, we lost a decent amount of bushes in our front landscaping. Ken came out, had specific plants in mind to put back, and wrote up a proposal with pictures of the plants. They also built a border wall the entire length of the landscaped area. Andres and his team they subcontract to do the wall did an excellent job and made it look exactly as we expected.

Their work was efficient and seems to be very high quality. Then, Hannah with Village Green continued with the exceeded expectations by fully listening to us on what we wanted, moved plants and borders around as desired, and managed everyone in an efficient manner to get the job done. The whole crew definitely went above and beyond. Throughout the entire process, the whole team was very easy to talk to and we were easily able to communicate our exact vision.

They executed it perfectly. My only complaint was they couldn't start earlier! Understandable, though, as everyone in the metroplex was trying to landscape at the same time. Ultimately, great work and I was very pleased with the outcome.

Village Green has taken care of my lawn for many years. I pre-pay for all the lawn services (grub treatment, fertilizer, weed control, etc) so that I don't have to worry about paying periodic bills throughout the season. I know it's taken care of. I also hired them to completely redo the landscaping in my backyard. They were attentive to my design ideas and completed the job quickly and beautifully. My backyard, around my pool, is now a place that I enjoy sitting as the plants/shrubs are thoughtfully placed.

I have used tree/shrub and lawn fertilization program for years - great job, honest, neighborhood business. Also use them for landscape work; great job, but you must be patient for them to get to your project as they only have one fabulous landscape crew, thus are booked for months out. Just got to my project and did an outstanding, meticulous, very professional job.

Owner Ken Hyatt and the entire team at Village Green are fantastic! Village Green has maintained our lawn and landscaping for over 20 years, much to our satisfaction. In addition, we have had several major landscaping projects completed by Ken and his team over the years, all of which have been executed beautifully. The team just completed a major front yard re-do which has exceeded our expectations! We are incredibly pleased with Village Green and highly recommend them.

Village Green has been fertilizing and maintaining our lawn for several years and it has never looked better! So, when it came time to do some landscaping we didn't hesitate to call Ken. We had 23 10 to 15 foot Red Tip Photinas die from disease. They needed to be cut down and the roots removed. If that wasn't a big enough job, the crew had to do this on a 4 foot terrace. Hannah and her crew did a fantastic job!

They tilled, amended and treated the soil then installed new tress and bushes. Hannah engineered the irrigation system to water properly. Everything was cleaned up and no mess was left behind. Ken and Hannah presented their plant ideas and also considered some of ours. The end result is really beautiful! We had a problem with 60mph winds the week after planting. Hannah came out the next day and set everything right! We highly recommend Village Green. Hannah was more than great to work with.

We hired Ken and his team to redo our entire 1/2 acre backyard. It was a huge project, and they did an unbelievable job. The communication throughout the entire process was fantastic. They took their time and did ALL the required prep work. Most companies will just come dig a hole, plant something and then cover it up with mulch. They actually created the beds, tilled it at least twice and included compost, and then dug the holes and planted. Prep work is everything when it comes to landscaping. I've made the mistake of hiring the "cheaper" option before, and it shows.

You for sure get what you pay for in landscaping. In addition to the plants, their team did extensive work to my existing irrigation system. That turned out really well too. In addition to the plants, my existing grass looks 10x better now too. The follow up so far has been phenomenal as well. Ken has come out a couple times, and so has the irrigation team to ensure everything is getting the appropriate amount of water, etc.

They don't just do the job and then forget about you. They make sure that everything is done COMPLETELY. A big shout out to Hannah and her team - Johnny, Miguel and Kristian. They were all amazing. We still have a lot more work that needs to be done, and they'll definitely be the ones getting the work. A+, trustworthy, and just downright good people. Highly recommended.

The gentleman that came out was very nice, but no one told me how much they charge just for labor when I booked the appointment to fix a few sprinkler heads. They charge you right off the bat 2 hours at a $270 rate. Then they do the work and you have the cost of the heads, etc. That amounted to $65. so for 2 mins to fix a couple of sprinkler heads, and a busted spout they charged me $330.

Catch here is that he didn't finish the work in those 2 hours so they needed to come back. Guess what again to charge the $270 trip charge. I feel so ripped off it is not even funny. I do not plan to ever use them again.

The service was ok at times BUT they either missed billing me or sent it to the wrong address and sent it to collections without so much as a phone call or a duplicate bill. They said they tried to call and our voice mails were full. Thats a bold face lie or they have issues trying to use the phone to dial the correct number. Either way both our phones are always empty of voice mails so this was total bulls**t!

My advice to current customers is the billing lady has issues so beware! By the way my credit score is over 800 and I have never missed a payment in my 49 years of doing business with people.

We have been Village Green customers for just over a year now. In that time, we have found them to be consistent, reliable, flexible, and professional on all fronts. We use them for a near-full care package and have been delighted with the results, especially the lawn work and seasonal color installations in our front beds. The staff in and out of the office is a pleasure to work with as well. An example of the level of service you can expect under a contract with Village Green: they sent us some photos of areas in our lawn that were not getting the right amount of water and suggested a sprinkler system service call.

We had that with Sam this past weekend, and it was an excellent session for a minimal investment - he fixed our coverage issues on the spot and helped us improve the schedules for our watering while still meeting watering restrictions. Thanks to Village Green, we have one of the best looking properties in our area!

I have been using Village Green for the last 5 years for fertilization/weed control and mosquito/pest control. I am very pleased with their work and our lawn is in much better shape than before we used them. They always call in advance of their visits. When I have called with questions they reply within 24 hours. The owner has come to our home several times to give us quotes. He is knowledgeable, courteous and honest with his advice. I've been using Village Green Lawn to maintain my yard for a few years and they are indeed the best. Nothing against my neighbor but they deal with weeds by mowing them and even though their crabgrass has spread like wildfire, there is none in my yard. Ken is an expert in this field and is always available to help and answer questions. They usually come out to re-treat my yard even when India my request one. If you want a great looking yard, go with Village Green!

Would not recommend doing business with these people. I applied for a foreman position and they interviewed me over the phone twice. Then had me come do a "2-day" working interview in which they pay you to come work for them so you can see their operation. They like to scream at each other and use vulgar language while at peoples homes which I thought was very unprofessional.

I worked very hard to do the things they obviously didn't want to do and after the day I sat down with the owner to talk to him about how things went. The meeting went fine and I honestly thought I would get the job. They then told me to give them their shirt back and they would get back with me later that night. The owner called and said they were going to move another direction.

I asked him why and he wouldn't give me an answer. I would understand if he would have given me and actual answer but the way he handled it made me think they just wanted to hire someone for a day of labor to help them catch up on their schedule. Just didn't like the way the handles it or the way they handled their business. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

We have been with Village Green for over a year, and they have made our lawn look better than we could have imagined. My kids now play in thick green grass instead of the dirt yard we had before. We get compliments from our neighbors all the time!

Village Green has to be one of the best landscapers in Plano. Management is honest and the work is amazing. I'm happy to recommend these guys for any landscape or lawn work.

All I needed was a broken pvc pipe fixed and these people made it the most complicated thing I have attempted in years. Know-it-all attitude but can't follow simple directions or communicate. It they can't dig a hole in the ground I would not want them doing anything else to my yard.
