We had a roof leak and it was recommended that we contact the folks at TAG. Karl came over and gave us an estimate for the repair and checked out the entire roof. In the end, he gave us a very fair price and didn't "oversell" us on things we didn't need. The work was completed shortly thereafter and we are glad we found TAG, Karl, and his team members. I would recommend you call them for any of your roofing needs!

They are a very disorganized company. We had Karl the VP, come and give us a quote, he was quick and responsive. Once the office sent us the contract it was wrong, they had to send it again for it to be correct. They told me once they received it they would call and schedule the work. The following week I was emailed another contract to sign, different from the other 2, even though I had already signed the electronic contract and sent it back.

They stated they didn't have it and would keep looking for it. They told us scheduling was 2 weeks out but could never give us a confirmed date of service. After a month of running around still not giving us a confirmed date, they would continually say I'll call you back by the end of the day and they never would. When you reach out to them they act like they've never helped you before. When I told them to cancel our contract we'd find another roofer they just said okay, the VP didn't even care they were losing business.

They get 2 stars because the work they did complete seems to be ok. In 2017, we hired TAG to repair our roof. At the time they were disorganized, late to appointments, workers took extremely long breaks instead of getting the work done, and the project wasn't completed on time. Two years later, we notice staining on our ceiling in the same area TAG supposedly fixed.

We made an appointment to have it check. Karl was late to the appointment again today. When he finally arrived, he checked the roof and claimed they never contracted to repair that area. So something that I believe was fixed, because that's what they were contracted to do, has been leaking for two years. I could pull the paperwork that proved they did the work, along with the photos, but I don't trust TAG to properly fix the problem so I will be finding another roofing company.

Shady, shady, shady. This company is NOT a licensed roofing contractor. They are NOT a licensed solar installer. Yet they advertise and operate as if they have the legitimate licenses. Check the California State Contractor's License board webpage to verify that. They will damage your home, lie to your face and should be put out of business. Owner Karl should be put in jail.

I hired Tag roofing to do our commercial roof. Karl made sure I knew exactly what was involved and all that I was getting with the job. Jesus, the project manager was great to work with. Very communicative and professional. The entire team did a wonderful job and I have nothing but great things to say about the company! Fair price too!

They were not very organized apparently. Late for estimate appt with no phone call, After signed contract did not reply to emails, or phone calls about getting a schedule. Finally got a schedule date after 6 weeks., and they did not show up. Had to call them to find out why. They then resceduled twice in next couple of hours. Finally cancelled work. Tired of chasing them. Will find another roofer.

Once again Tag Roofing came through for me. 2 years ago I had them reroof the majority of my house, minus the flat roof portions. I contacted Karl earlier this week, explaining that I needed to reroof the flat roof portions ASAP. Karl came out right away, measured, and gave me a quote. That was on Tuesday. Karl was able to get a tear off crew out just 2 days later and my roof will be done tomorrow, Friday. Karl is easy to work with, polite and very knowledgeable about roofing. He won't try to sell you anything you don't need. His crew's are great too. I highly recommend Tag Roofing. They do a great job and stand behind their work!

I contacted them through email initially, they do NOT answer email. Ever. You have to call. The initial work done was insufficient and my roof still leaked. They came back and tried really hard to fix it. I was impressed by how much they threw time and resources at my leaks to fix them but they ended up working on the wrong part of the house and still didn't fix the leaks. Months later I called back and they came by to check it out.

It's been 4 weeks since and I have had to call them every few days to try to get them to do the work and honor the warrantee. They are not calling me back and seem unable to locate the correct shingles. I'm an giving up on them. Time to find a company that will honor their warrantees and be professionals.

The BEST contractor experience of my life! IT was so good to deal with the old-time, real classy, honest, hard-working American contractors. No cutting corners, no skimping on time and material, no hidden charges.

TAG Roofing sets the bar. The first problem I had was a leaking chimney. My second issue involved an attic space that was not properly vented so during the summer the house would start to bake in the late afternoon. I had three roofing companies out to bid the job. Sure enough the bids and suggested fixes were all over the place. Then came Karl with TAG roofing.he explained everything with great detail and gave several options that were within my budget.

The chimney is fixed and the attic space is significantly cooler. Karl was prompt with the bids and followed up with me when the job was finished. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.
