Absolutely top notch design, engineering, quality, service, and responsiveness from Keith Zars Pools. It is increasingly rare to find a company that strives to deliver the highest quality product and takes real pride in their work. After Paul Zars employed impressive skill and maintained flexibility in working with us to produce a design that beautifully met our needs and expectations, and Elizabeth Barbour expertly enabled us to navigate the finishes into a material and color scheme that we would have struggled to decide upon by ourselves, Paul Espurova took over the task of delivering a top notch final product. Paul Espurova was everything we could have hoped for in a project manager, and he and his team reminded us that there are still people who take pride in their work and will do what they can to meet or exceed the customer's needs.

At the start of our project, he explained that Keith Zars would not accept anything less than a satisfied customer, and he certainly delivered on that claim. I have already recounted our overwhelmingly positive experience to many friends and colleagues, and I hope this review further motivates others to put Keith Zars pools at the top of their list when making this important decision.

Best investment for Texas hot weather. Love the black pebbled plaster with nacre shell gives the look you are in a small lake and shines different colors. Have it for 8y and more to come. Keith are prompt to service it, we had no issues when built they were right on scheduled.

We have been in the pool for several months since completion and I wanted to thank the KZP team for addressing things. No real big issues and the pool has been a added pleasure for sure. However there are some updates minor things that have occurred since we have been swimming: 1. A pipe cracked after the cold weather and even included the actual pipe for connecting the hoses to it. (Replaced entire components free of charge since having the LLSP coverage/1year warranty-highly recommend! 2.

The vacuum was not suctioning well-replaced connection and took out extra weights for water tube for vacuum (last week) 3. Pool light flickering-came out to fix right away 4. Assisted with calcium build up-told me what to buy and showed me what to do 5. Check the auto fill due to overfilling-came right out to fix The only negative I have is when doing the quarterly LLSP I haven't seen a report for quality of items, chemicals added, updates on what they've done. However, the last visit with the female and male personnel (last week) were outstanding and was showing me everything in addition to addressing concerns.

I appreciated them doing this and hope they get made aware that they did a great job! Overall experience with KZP has been great! No complaints and don't regret any decisions made by going with this company.true to word every step of the way! Yes, may not be cheaper than others but please review the "quality and warranties" when reviewing the contracts.

Definitely do some research prior to signing, learn which equipment is one versus another, structuring of the pool (pipe installed) etc. Understand the reputations of companies, Ie, Houzz app, BBB, google reviews etc. We plan to renew warranty as we have had several things happened and want to be covered as we have experienced great service for getting items addressed and can only imagine the cost if not covered.

Workmanship was incredible! Not to mention the lifetime warranty which was the deciding factor in choosing Keith Zars pools. But I would caution using them with expectations of having your pool done when they say it will be done. It's possible that they're taking on more jobs and they can handle it one time. While I voiced my concerns, they were taken care of until they happened again.

Lack of communication and Crews coming out about every 17 days between each phase. This definitely made the process longer than I feel it had to be. When my husband called to ask a question, he said, " I know you're very busy but I have a concern but I know you're the person that takes care of my account" The response he got was yeah you and 500 others!

That comment alone, made us feel just like a number. While I recommend their workmanship I do not recommend their customer service. Our project started in November 2021. We asked for a color change in the Pebble Tek. While I know there is a charge to make a change, they said the charge me double what I paid for my original color. We have one step left before We can fill the pool and I was told that would happen the first week of June.

We bought a Keith Zars pool 10 years ago mainly because of their great reputation for maintenance. The pool is well built, and we have had few problems with it. The service department was always very quick to respond. Up until about 2 years ago I would have given them 5 stars. They deserved the reputation they had for great customer service. What used to take 2-3 days for a service response now runs 3 weeks or more.

The service request form on their website does not acknowledge or confirm receipt so you have to assume they received it. My last request they did not. No one calls you to confirm or gives you any estimate of time when they will provide service. You're kind of just hanging out there hoping someone will show up. My last request took 4 weeks for them to respond.

After 2 weeks of not hearing from anyone, I complained to a salesman trying to sell a pool to a friend. That's when I found out my request thru their website for service either did not go thru or they did not add it to their list. They finally showed up after 4 weeks but they had also mailed me my annual maintenance renewal for $1400 which, of course, they want paid timely.

Some of my requests have been to just drop off or mail what I needed, but no luck. They ignore the request. I've also been on their list for weekly maintenance for a year. Still waiting to hear from someone on that. If you're thinking of buying a Keith Zars Pool and they try to sell you on their great service.don't believe it! It's not good anymore.

I think the problem is they are building many more pools than they have people to service them, both service techs and office staff, and won't correct the problem. They know they can't take care of their long time customers but continue building as many pools as possible creating more customers to disappoint. So, if the maintenance is part of your decision making, do not be deceived by anything the salesman tells you; expect long waits, and do not go thru their website for service. Call and speak to a person and document everything.

Need to write two separate reviews 1. The pool is well built. The pros: they stood by the work after it was found they destroyed my sewer connection. Engineered to last decades. 2. The cons: due to that sewer problem, I spent over $5000 with initial plumbing attempts and rehabilitating my landscape. The decking is cracked due to poor communication.

They also have what I consider to be an unprincipled attempt to push all liability for any pool malfunction off on the consumer with their anything-but-education 2 hour recitation of things if done incorrectly, voids your pool warranty. Bad business for the consumer About their service 3. Small issue ( did I mention the pool is beautifully built?) my Polaris didn't work. Tech came out ( cost $148 okay ) reset the circuit breaker and replaced the backup valve $160 ( $100 or less part everywhere else) this fixed some of the issue however the Polaris still wasn't effective. Called, was told it would be covered ( 90 days) was told I would be charged was told it was fixed. about a month later I finally showed a picture of the hose leak. wasted time, insulted and insulting response ( after asking the cost of the part he asked if I wanted it done.no o want to boat over $300 for a non functional outcome) Love this pool Adore the company From a operational POV, zars has a pretty challenging issue with communication between the functional areas and with your customers I would still choose zars to build your pool

These guys are the worst. cant give a quote on repairs for something they installed. let them know I needed a new profiler skimmer bag and am sure it is a propriety item that will probably cost 100's. still haven't fixed the cleaner system. they have so many different departments with so few qualified people that couldn't care less. theyntell you you will get an e-mail stating when your cleaning date wi;; be and then some random guy shows up at all hours of the night/ day/ time. and they want huge amounts of money because of their great service

We are on our second Keith Zars pool. They are a good pool company but used to be great. Unfortunately, their warranty repair services are less than acceptable. We have been waiting for over three weeks for repairs. I think they have not kept up with demands for service instead seem to be focused on new builds.

FINAL UPDATE: Pool complete and we are happy with the results. We are particularly glad we went with an established and professional company in Keith Zars. Everyone knows how hard it's been to conduct business during the pandemic and the resulting supply chain and hiring crisis. These issues did impact our project but KZP did a great job in keeping us informed and in correcting what few issues arose.

We want to give a particular shout out to our construction superintendent Ron Stine. Ron is very knowledgable and is a man of his word. We really appreciate his hard work and dedication! 2nd UPDATE: Excavation almost complete (see pic) and we are super impressed with the care and attention to detail with the work thus far! I'm no pool construction expert (to say the least) but when I YouTube "gunite pool construction time lapse" I see other pool construction jobs with a big hole being dug and then rebar being installed directly into that hole of dirt.

Look at the picture to see all the hard work done with bagged rock for the walls and the rock underlayment. KZP is clearly going above and beyond the rest! Also, the crews arrive before 7 every morning, work throughout the day until 6 p.m. and clean up and secure the gates at the end of every work day. SO IMPRESSED BY KZP! Initial report: Just signed our contract to build a pool with KZP and wanted to report five star service and professionalism thus far.

Our design consultant Fabian Coronado has been super responsive and attentive during these early stages. His on time/punctual visit to our home to see our yard and his meeting with us to hear of our vision have all resulted in an awesome design that fits with our budget. As we considered the proposal and secured financing Fabian was always quick to respond to a call/email/or text message whenever a question arose.

Also quite impressive is their design center which has multiple pools onsite as well as an astounding complex which is home to their equipment and construction materials. this is a professional organization!

Shoutout to Keith Zars Pools. Wanted to commend Keith Zars Pools - They did an outstanding job on mine and beat their estimated completion date to boot - We paid by phase which I liked very much and the professionalism of our Sales Rep Kent Ely (210-354-9805), Project Manager Luis Macias, and every Zars team performing the work was exemplary - a rare quality these days IMO - like many, I consider myself very picky where my money is concerned. We're so so happy with our pool/spa - I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks, & I receive zero compensation (darn!) for my endorsement.

Update: It is now March 2022 and I still have not received a call or work order for masonry to come take a look. Every year I lose more stone around the pool. Some pieces are so thin I'm afraid to touch.

Despite a very large initial investment and annual renewal of our service agreement, the follow up on issues has deteriorated dramatically. A shame to see an otherwise prestigious brand go off the track. Cannot recommend.

KZs construction and design was decent with multiple delays however I was told that's just the current state of supply and demand. Finished my pool January 24, 2022 and to this date 3.5.22. My heater has been leaking. It was a punch list item that needed to be addressed at the beginning but still to this day is leaking. Also, another pipe was leaking as well. Was told they are still waiting on parts yet I'm stuck with a leaking heater.

The heater also made a loud noise when I first used it but they did come out and address. Not sure how long it takes to get a heater part in but doesn't seem like there is any urgency while I foot the bill. Not happy with the KZs maintenance and pool for getting a high priced new pool. Hopefully this is not something that will be an issue long term.

We chose Keith Zars Pools for numerous reasons and we are so happy with what we have seen so far. Although our pool is not yet completed, we felt that we needed to let others know about their amazing service! From our first consultation with Paul Zars to the construction phase, with our construction manager, Paul Espurvoa, we have been beyond impressed with their work, the quality and their service.

We realize that when it comes to price, they are more expensive, but we felt it is well worth the cost and peace of mind. We have yet to have any problems and have been 100% ecstatic about what has been completed so far. We will update the review again when completed. As of now, we are completely happy with everything.

We bought a home in December and the previous owner contracted Keith zars to move some pipes that were encroaching on the neighbor's home. Needless to say the work was supposed to be done in 3 days it took 3 weeks. There were many issues but the three worst situations were the following. They left a dirt mound and didn't dig the trench correctly we had to call them back several times to accomplish this and the superintendent Vic was very unprofessional and really didn't give a s*** about customer service.

The second thing is they burnt the two motors that run the pool we didn't find this out until the day we closed when Vic came over tried to turn him on and realize that the workers that had changed the plumbing had burnt the motors needless to say they covered the replacement and we're supposed to cover the cost since it was done by their workers but they had the nerve to send me the bill January 8th to which I contacted them and they assured me that it was a mistake.

Number three I just found out today that the suction pump that runs the robot was damaged during the initial work. When I hired a professional pool builder to come and inspect everything they told me that they had try to hide their error by shutting off the breakers, needless to say I had to replace that today out of my own pocket but I'm lucky that I have found someone that actually cares about the maintenance of a pool and the repairs. Keith zars pools is the worst, most unprofessional piece of garbage company I have the nightmare of dealing with.

I don't normally waste my time leaving negative comments as my time is very valuable but I'm doing this to save those of you who are considering using these creatures in the future. I'm very happy with the individual that I found who actually builds pools for a living have been doing it for 40 years, maintains them and does an excellent job. I'm going to keep this gem to myself.

I ask that before you contact KZ that you do your research, read the reviews, find out how horrible they are how shady they are and go with someone else reputable if you would like to know the person who I'm using leave me a message.

We would not do business with Zars pools again. We have been building a $300k pool for 12 months and the communication at the company is lackluster. Many promises were made and deliverables have not been met. We've been very patient and have seen our pool just sitting there full since October and have not even been able to enjoy it because the Zars employees and contractors seem to try and fix something, but something else goes wrong and then if it gets to be too late in the afternoon, they leave with the work not done and then they turn off other features and we can't even enjoy the hot tub.

It is very unfortunate that we thought spending more money on a quality product is not the case. We would have been better with any other company that does custom pools. Communication breaks down almost monthly internally and no one is speaking to other departments. We have had various supervisors out to our build site and after stern conversations, nothing seems to happen for more than 1-2 weeks following, then things fall through the cracks again.

They are good about asking for their money BEFORE the job is done, but they have yet to finish the project and want their final balance, which they will not be getting until we're happy. The sales process seems pretty dreamy, then things just got worse. Poor response times from our site supervisor (weeks to respond), poor workmanship with many things to punch out, they will charge you for every little thing, however they do not move quickly or even move at all when things need to be addressed.

They will hold you to every word of their contract.so buyer beware because they will hold you down.be prepared to do the same to them! I would not hire this company again for my other builds. I expected much better for the "appearance" of a big, quality company. Very disappointed in their professionalism, communication and project deadlines being missed by months with no excuse or pride in finishing the job. Wish I could cancel the checks already written.

Five years in and this Keith Zars pool has been excellent. It is in a current Airbnb home and gets constant usage. No major issues at all and any small items that happen Keith Zars repair division fixes very quickly. Kent came up with a superb design and the pool was completed by the date I was told by true professionals. Unlike my brother's pool built in the same area by a different builder that took over 9 months to complete.

After the freeze Keith Zars was very quick to get repairs performed and get my pool back running to 100%. I highly recommend Kent and Keith Zars for designing and construction of your next pool.

When my wife and I decided to build a pool, we contacted 7 pool builders in and around the San Antonio area. After carefully reviewing all our options, we selected Keith Zars Pools. I can say now, with 100% satisfaction, we are glad we did! KZP has an outstanding team from the office personnel to the employees in the field. We were lucky to have Paul Espurvoa as our Superintendent.

He is very knowledgeable and knows how to build a pool. Going through all the processes of building a pool including design, excavation, steel, concrete, and plastering, Paul was able to complete the build in a timely manner during a pandemic and shortage of material worldwide. The KZP office staff was great to work with and their field team was always very professional, respectful, and fun to talk to. My wife and I couldn't be happier with Paul, the KZP Team, and our new pool!

Their scheduling is horrible. They've been working since late August & now have been waiting over a month for the next process. One set of workers left a mess. Colors were ordered in early August & was told in November when coupling was to start that they ran out of materials. My yard is a mess since they didn't totally clean what they excavated. All kinds of excuses & no end in sight. Thought this was a reputable company.

I have a hot tub that we have been able to use about 5 times since it was installed. I'm always waiting on a repair or part. I called today for an update and was told they will try to find out when they will be out. You can't blame Covid for the hot tub not working the day after you repair it. This company is not what it used to be. I would never use them again.

Our pool build completion was in March of 2021 and we are very pleased with the outcome and quality of our pool. One of the most unexpected surprises was hiring Keith Zars to do our pool cleaning as well. From the beginning, we have had Scott Garrett clean our pool and I cannot express enough how wonderful he is. Not only does he do a fantastic job, he is also very courteous, kind and patient with all of my questions as a new pool owner.

Even if it is not in his scope of work, he still listens and gives us great advice. Seeing him out there every week (always on time too!) is one of our highlights and knowing that our pool will be crystal clear and in tip top shape is so reassuring. Thank you Scott for your hard work and dedication!

Our pool is complete and we are more than happy! Kent is an expert designer. We gave him ideas of what we wanted our pool to be and he designed an amazing multilevel pool and spa that is perfect for our backyard. We have multiple spaces to entertain including a bar area, fire pit area, and a future outdoor kitchen. The pool is an extension of our home not just something you put in your backyard as an after thought. Kent was always available to us.

Our original tile was on back order. He came into the design center and help me to choose new tile. I swear the new tile choice was better then the original tile. That the level of customer service you will get from Kent. The Sanchez Family greatly appreciate the level of professionalism Kent displayed throughout this process.

Yesterday, was the big day for plaster! Previously scheduled for Friday but canceled due to the heat-which I didn't understand exactly why until the project lead informed us yesterday that the lx glass is one of the best and most challenging products if too hot. The project lead was very nice and provided insight to how they are required to get the lx glass to be applied. Anyways it makes sense now.

Prior to the crew beginning they politely recommended vehicles be moved to prevent any overflow on them. In addition, they used a pulley system with ropes to protect and make sure damages were not created during the process. These guys worked all day long-never seen them take breaks and were amazing. I applaud and want to say thank you to the team as they hand made my daughter the ball of plaster with lx glass as a keepsake for keeping them hydrated and providing waters thru the day!

This made her day. How sweet was that and now we have a small sample of the lx glass to brag to everyone about! If you don't have one for the office for families to see and touch I highly recommend. I'm excited to see the color once acid wash applied. We originally picked the sea song color but was notified that dye is now out and changed to the blue crest Willie recommended (superintendent of our project) but was respectful and helpful when making this choice.

I have been very happy with the progress and project as a whole. I am happy to have gone with Keith Zars for this project and don't regret anything we've done, requested and asked for regarding the pool.

This is our second pool with Keith Zars Pools and we couldn't be happier. From the get go, they have been honest and upfront about total time from start to finish of construction of the pool, and overly communicate throughout the entire process. They also take the time to answer any questions. And, their craftsmanship and attention to detail is outstanding.

We've worked with Kent Ely both times - he is knowledgeable, open and direct about the entire process, and ensures the client is happy. And, Terry is a great superintendent throughout the entire construction of the pool! For this 2nd pool, we did attempt to shop around just to see what other companies could offer - frankly, KZP blows everyone out of the water with their service and product. Would never consider anyone else again!

Do NOT use them! It has been almost 13 months since we started the process. 12 months since we have been under contract with them AND they still have not finished the pool! The owner of the Company called me personally about 10 months ago when we began to have problems and he assured me that things were going to run smooth. They have never ran smooth.

Sometimes a full month passes and they never show up to work on the pool. Their job so far has been average at best, but they do a great job at lying to you. They say they are going to show up and never do. Even their subcontractors say the same thing about them. If you are looking for a high end pool or anything below that, PLEASE go with someone else.

There are many options out there that will treat you with respect. Trust me- their brand might have been worth something before, but based on what I have seen- it won't be in the future. Save your self a lot of headaches, stress and probably money. Use someone that cares.

This has been the absolute worst experience and company that I have ever dealt with. We signed a contract in November of 2020. We were told by Wes Richter 6-8 weeks for completion with excavation starting in January. The stakeout didn't even happen until January and we were then told excavation would happen the beginning of March. Communication is horrible and so at the beginning of March we reached out only to be told, they wouldn't begin until June with an 8-10 week completion time (in writing).

We didn't take this as the final answer and so construction began on 15 March. Since that date, we have had nothing but issues. The sheer radius descents which were supposedly ordered in February never came in, so to move the project along we agreed to straight descents. They plastered at the end of 14 weeks only because I posted a negative review on social media.

We are now at the end of 17 weeks.it will be 18 weeks on 19 July.and we are still not complete. We have mounds of dirt and stepping stones left to be installed. We have been dealing with this for 8 months. We were told in writing at the beginning of the week it would be done today. Shocker.it's not complete! The subcontractors they hired destroyed our front planter only to "fix" it.

I use that word loosely. They will tell you they do not use subs, however, this is inaccurate. The "cleanup" crew moved rebar into the lawn which demolished the lawn mower blades to add to the heartache. Maybe the only way to get service with KZ Pools is to be on the Pool Kings, but you are looking at one very dissatisfied customer. We have had to police crews.

I pick up trash every day after they leave. We have had to have work redone because of poor craftsmanship. They will tell you a lot of things, but most of which are not true. I have elevated my concerns and here I sit with an unfinished project and a lot of capital out the door. Poor customer service, poor communication, and subpar company. Choose someone else. We have friends who used a smaller company. Four months from contract to completion! Learn from our mistakes!

After a disappointing period of service, we've seen a distinctive improvement. Our Tuesday cleaning rep is getting our pool back to beautiful. I'm very relieved and now can recommend Keith Zars again.

After months of looking for a good pool builder and being patient with each one given the restraints of Covid we decided to call Keith Zars. I Explained to the secretary the frustration we have experienced and she assured me I would be happy with my designer. Our designer came out and was friendly but never contacted us about our pool drafts after a few months of waiting.

I text and had no response finally I thought I would give him another call and text. Tony finally texted back and said he would have our drafts of our new pool ready next week. Well next week came and went! I was patient and waited another week because I heard about how good keith Zars company was with quality and customer service. Well no call and still no luck, were moving on.

Unbelievable service and quality workmanship! We are so thankful we chose Keith Zars Pools to complete our backyard oasis! Each crew that came out were experts in their area and so professional. Shout to to Kent Ely with Keith Zars Pools for his attention to detail and responsiveness throughout our pool build out! We are loving our backyard vacation spot!

Our Keith Zars pool just turned one in April! We absolutely love the design Trevor created for our small backyard. The LX Glass pool finish in Sea Song is our favorite feature. Although the project started 6 to 8 weeks later than projected.it was worth the wait! The construction team was professional and our project manager Ron kept us updated. Our pool project started a month or so before COVID so it really didn't affect our process or completion in April of 2020. The service after the pool completion has been amazing. This is why we only wanted a Keith Zars pool and never considered other pool builders.

Maintenance is here do us when the pool man doesn't show up 50% of the time and the service manager doesn't care about his customers. I had to call Keith Zars to get satisfaction and he, not the service manger who does not tell the truth to his customers and say the guy is coming and he doesn't. Not once but many times. Did Keith make it right yes he did but why should I pay $220 a month and get no service. Additionally, who will remain nameless with a fear of retaliation promised that he would send a guy when we came home from a long trip and the pool was a disaster he said he would send him that afternoon or the next day.

That was Monday it was Thursday and he never showed and I never got a call to see if I did. That when I called Keith Zars but he is never available until I insisted. Zars pools may build great pools but their maintenance is terrible. Saying your sorry once or twice about bad service is ok but every other time pisses one off to make a transaction litigious at best.

I had to threaten them to change their service guy who also lied about coming. Who wants to do business with them. They are on notice and if their is retaliation against me or my pool man does not show up without a good explanation I will continue to Yelp them get a new service company and let my real estate agents never to recommend Zars pools as a reputable company. There are plenty of service companies in San Antonio who are better and I really don't care what I spend but who wants to feel ripped off. Not me or I hope you.

We have had our pool for a little over 3 years now and we love it BUT the flagstone around the pool has caused so many problems. Pieces come off in chunks and when it gets wet it turns into mud. It has ruined swimsuits and it's very hard to keep the pool and the area around the pool clean. I have emailed multiple times with pictures and no response so I called and spoke with several customer service representatives and they keep telling me it's 4-6 months out for someone to come take a look, which has been the response for over a year now. I tried putting a sealant on it and that all came off as well.

I'm altering my prior review of 1 star to 4 stars now, , based on the mass of humanity working on my dad's pool today and also my ignorance of labor shortages, Covid 19 restrictions, etc. Thank you for making my Father's life a little easier by making the efforts to get his pool finished sooner than later.

KZP claims a world class warranty, but in reality it is not. My concrete patio that they poured has already cracked along with the flagstone after 18 months. KZP pours thousands of yards of concrete a year and shocked that they don't stand behind their concrete work for more than 1 year. My property is built on the North side of San Antonio and there is no settling since it is built on top of solid rock.

They sell the extended service plan, but this should be covered under their standard warranty. I have learned over the years, no matter how the warranty is written, it is only as good as the company itself. Paying such a high premium compared to their competitors, I now realize wasn't worth it.

Very high quality pool company that builds a gorgeous product. Kent Ely is an amazing sales person and always on the ball and responsive. He has terrific design ideas and vision of the best use of the space and years of experience. I always recommend this company and Kent to any clients wanting to build a high quality dream pool.

Keith Zars built my pool in early 2020 and I have referred several people who have used them after seeing the beautiful pool they built for my family. As with building anything, there were a few minor issues but they stand behind their pools and have fixed ever minor issue without complaint. I have KZP clean it weekly and also pay for the yearly protection plan because I hear that it is well worth it with the high cost of pool equipment repairs. I highly recommended them and will keep referring my friends and family to KZP.

I had a designer send me a video of a beautiful pool in my back yard with a price tag of over $100+k. Of course it was beautiful! However, I didn't get any measurements of the pool and decking to really justify the price. So I called him and he quickly rattled off some measurements that I was rapidly trying to jot down because I didn't understand what measured what. BTW, the pool he designed was much larger than I wanted and wasn't sure it was going to fit in my back yard.

So I gave him a price point that was flexible and asked if he could tweak the design (make pool smaller) to get it to that price point. Now, a month later and I have not heard back from him. The bottom line is Keith Zars Pools is not interested in building pools less than $100+k. Don't waste your time and energy like I did.

We put in our Keith Zars pool about 8 years ago. I have had 5 different homes with pools / 3 we built the pool / and would say KZ product has been superior and any service or parts needs taken care of. I have never rated them before, but with pool purchases up thought I would share my experience. After doing a complete feature/benefit bid tabulation to get all the pool bids on an even basis I found KZ the best investment for my pool. I'm glad I did.

The pool design n equipment has been the easiest pool I have ever maintained in over 30 years of owning pools. I've used KZ for some repairs n found them knowledgeable n having any needed parts though not the cheapest As an 8 year KZ pool owner, I have no issues recommending KZ for new pool construction n aftermarket support

Well let me start with this company sounds like they only sell to the rich. I called in to say I had 60000 cash to make a pool but wanted to keep my budget around 50,000 and right out of his words the sales guy, said their pools started at 55000( base) with only just the pool he did not offer to make a deal or work it out or lets see what we can do let me look at your property or anything it was basically you cant afford us, ,,,, The carzy part is that i would have paid up to 60000 if they had a good attitude and good sales pitch and training, I have talk to many pool companies and they all offer to work out a deal and see what they can do this guy went staright to the we cant do any discounts or anything. maybe they have to much sales they dont need my $$$ going now just to close a deal on cody pools now!

I'm delighted to share my thoughts with the latest installment of my Keith Zars Experience! Let me just start with my initial encounters were less than stellar. First and foremost being polite goes a long way. Secondary THE ONLY reason I wrote the first post was to get the owners attention @keithzar to let him know there was a hiccup in the front office. So, Id like to say thanks for the wonderful professionalism of Nicole ( billing / work order section) AND the absolutely fantastic service that Logan rendered to our pool! Mr. Zars, he needs a pay raise! Lastly during the service/ maintenance call Mr Zar called to ask about my experience, and to explain the situation of the front office!

Week 5 I'm taking a slightly different to posting reviews, instead of just appending the original review, I'm posting by week/stage. Pushing in to week five now, the rough-in plumbing looks to be pretty well done and re-bar crew is about half-way through putting up the shell for the spa and waterfall. We got hit by a rain storm that blocked access for a couple of days, so weather delay. KZP scheduling has started providing some guidance on when the crews will be showing up.

The change order came through on the switch from stone veneer to stucco, and it was, as always, easy to work with the sales/design group. Tip of the hat to you guys on that! Overall I'm satisfied with the progress made last week, the site is clean, work is progressing and it looks like we may still hit the 10 week or less mark if this pace keeps up.

Keith Zars built our pool around 2011. We always know when we see another Keith Zars pool because it's workmanship is second to none. If you want the best looking pool, yes you will pay for it, but it will be the best looking pool. They are long overdue for this review. Every aspect was an A+ and to this day they never cease to amaze me at how well they service my pool.

We actually have another company clean it but we pay for the yearly protection plan because it is well worth it. Things break. And the invoice always says "$0". Our heater blew up a few years ago causing copper to leach into the water making it very difficult to fix but they worked until they did. I highly recommended them.

I want to thank you and your team for the marvelous job you did constructing our pool. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the skills of your team and the care with which they exercised those skills. I have already recommended your fine company to two of my friends. Thank you for a tremendous pool construction experience.

I would like to just give you a quick thank you for all the hard work Zars has done for us so far. Your team helped us hit many of the milestones that were set, and put us in a great position for a strong finish.

One thing I did appreciate a lot about Keith Zars is that they weren't contracting people. They were all employees of Keith Zars for many, many years, and I think that's important. If you're going to make such an investment in your home, you ought to do it right, and I think we did do it right by going with Keith Zars.

They keep telling me i will be thrilled and they will exceed my expectations, but we're just passed the half-way point and I'm wondering how they are so successful because they are disorganized and two design features (one of them a BIG deal to us) were left out of the contract they put together so we're not getting them unless we pay them to re-do expensive work.

Our Keith Zars pool was built in 2007 and although the design and construction met our expectations, the service we've experienced under the Life Style Protection Plan has been far better than we could have hoped.

We can't say enough about your customer service! Our project supervisor, Mario, went out of his way to ease the construction process for us, making us feel as if we were his only customers. We will highly recommend your company to anyone interested in investing in a pool.

Few companies offer the customer service we receive from Keith Zar's personnel - from customer service to repair and quick response, they are the best in every area! I'm not sure how a company can respond so quickly and be so outstanding, but Keith Zar's company is the best in every way.

We are in our second summer of having our Keith Zars pool. We absolutely love our pool. The look of our back yard, the relaxing afternoons and of course parties with family and friends. We are not the average pool owners, we are in our seventies and really thought long and hard before deciding to get a pool.

Our experience with Keith Zars Pools has been nothing but OUTSTANDING from initial contact through the very end. Wes Richter was always there through the process, ready to answer any questions we had and was very quick to respond when we did have questions.

I want to give proper recognition to the professional manner in which your crews handle themselves and also to the craftsmanship that went into my project. Every crew member, at every stage of construction, was on site early and usually stayed late.

We bought a home with a pool and Keith Zars took care of it--we bought a home and Keith Zars was our first and only call--they built us a beautiful backyard oasis! Black-bottom pool, rock waterfall and hot tub!

We have had a service/warranty issue and have over 6 calls into Keith Zars with no response. Perhaps this will get their attention. Very disappointed in their lack of responsibility.

We now have a beautiful pool thanks to the excellent workmanship of all of the crews who work for Keith Zars Pools. Terry was awesome and our pool was completed in six short weeks, just in time for our hot weather!
