I will be contacting Nutone about the plumbing contracting they did. They subcontract a lot of the projects they for homes. There is a massive leak under our house. We just took video and there is all kinds of old pipe they left behind under the house. It's everywhere! Our contract says that all old piping and plumbing was to be REMOVED. The pipe that is gushing is being recapped now.
There is board under the concrete where they cut to fix plumbing and redid concrete. The concrete had to be redone twice. The wood floor on top had to be resurfaced 2x as it was left uneven and they tried to compensate by shaving the baseboard along the center. There were specialty tiles removed that were to be use for the retile in the kitchen. 25 decorative pieces.
They used only 13 and took the rest. When I called "Ryan" on it he simply said the guys would not have done that and I had to have another worker confirm that we had, in fact, provided and counted 25 pieces. We had two decorative undercountry braces that were damaged. They said they would fix these. Ryan merely pulled a good one from one end and put it on the other end.
I had to tell them we did not want Ryan back at our house. Nate (a decent guy who worked for them at the time) remade the pieces and replaced them himself, which was good (he is no longer with Nutone). I really disliked being gaslit on a job that wound up costing some 150-160k and then being told we could not have an itemized receipt. I do plan to contact the state contractors board.
I would strongly advise against paying any attention to so-called "testimonials" they post on their site and get good background info whoever you use for a contractor and who they are using as subcontractors.

One of the best contractors in town is Nutone Construction. You can reach them by email at bid@nutoneconstruction.com or you can call them at (702) 876-9600 and ask for Julie or Brian. This firm is approved with Fannie Mae. They are very professional, timely, and the quality of work is excellent. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
