89-Paint is hands down the best! If you are looking for a reputable painting company, look no further! The team did a wonderful job and we couldn't be more pleased. From start to finish, the team was responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. I definitely feel like I had the "A-Team". The team was very thorough; so much so that the inside of my home looks like a completely different home! So amazing what a fresh paint job done well can do! Ethan and his team did a wonderful job painting my Mom's house after we renovated. She was a smoker and his team was able to encapsulate the nicotine staining near the ceiling. They painted the entire house, walls plus ceilings plus trim, plus they did an AMAZING job with painting her kitchen cabinets and vanities - they looked better than new! We sold the house on the first day it was listed, thanks in part to 89 Paint. Job well done.

What I surmise about 89 Paint is thst they use subcontractors for the actual painting and their own staff for estimates and billing. Everything is smooth on the front end and inconsistent when it comes time to actually paint. They sent one person to paint so it took him three days to do two rooms. He was somewhat sloppy in places. He was good at masking but he was certainly foing the least amount of work to satisfy the estimate.

One thing about the estimate: if what you want isn't explicitly mentioned in the estimate, they won't do it. What this means is that caulking abd minor drywall repair such as reseating recessed lights will not be included. This is. Odd, because as a non-contractor I assume tgat I'm paying for a result not choosing from an a la carte menu of contractor options.

I paid way too much, then had to have another contractor come in and finish the job. The other Note that other people have had a positive experience. Maybe my experience was an anomoly. In any case, I cannot recommend them. contractor gave me an estimate that was based on a result. In the end, 89 Paint was an expensive mistake.

89-Paint did a fantastic job with refinishing our cabinets. From Ethan to Brandon to Bill they were very professional, on time, and great to work with. I would highly recommend 89-Paint.

If I could give this company a zero I would! 3000 square foot house, they cannot handle this! They are cheaper for a reason, their work sucks! They rush the job and have very inexperienced painters. They had several paint errors, runs and drips on the walls, brush marks were the worst, and patchy spots. They had to do several walls over and still could not get the job done correctly.

The pictures I have are horrible and prove what a terrible job they do! I would not recommend this company to anyone! Project manager agreed with several errors that occurred, including one room that I can't even describe what a horrible and unprofessional job that was completed. Make sure they protect your floors because the mess that was left behind after they came back to attempt to fox their errors was ridiculous!

89 Paint has been wonderful to work with. The project managers and team were incredibly responsive, professional and are clearly experienced painters. We are incredibly happy with their work and will definitely use them again! Would highly recommend.

We have used 89-Paint to paint the interior of our house and to power wash and stain our deck. Each project turned out great! The office staff and crew that completed the work were very professional and easy to work with. I will definitely be using 89-paint again!

I had 4 different contractors, including 89 Paint to come out & give me estimates on painting almost my entire house. Out of all the contractors, ONLY 89 Paint showed up timely. I needed my house to sell fast and this company was able to start the project on my schedule. Most contractors were not able to provide pricing right away but I was able to get a detailed pricing the next day. Quotes had visual pictures and the convenience to pay online.

Very please with the outcome. There were a couple of paint problems but overall the work was excellent. I reached out to the project manager, Kevin with my issues and he immediately rectified the entire situation. He personally did some of the work to make sure that things were corrected properly! He had some primer left over after the job and primed my cabinets.

Not a lot to paint but mind you that I did not hire 89 Paint to refurbish my cabinets but I'm sure he saw my frustration with 1/2 painted cabinets lying around everywhere. A++! He organized my work area that he was not responsible for! 89 Paint prices are competitive and it's for quality work. I get the sense that they strive more for the customer service then for the bottom line. Highly recommended!

I do not know how this company has so many good reviews on Yelp and elsewhere. After doing quite a bit of research and meeting with several companies, I hired them to paint my entire new house before I moved in. Over the course of two days, they caused an absolutely incredible amount of damage. My previously perfect hardwood floors are absolutely COVERED in dried paint.

Kitchen cabinets also got the Jackson Pollock treatment. Rooms that were to receive multiple coats of paint clearly have the previous paint color showing through. Wallboard patches are raised and obvious. Even worse, they left multiple windows wide open and unsecured in the empty house when they left for the weekend. As the home is in North Church Hill, it's lucky I stopped by to check on their work and discovered this while the house still had its copper wire and appliances. Don't trust them with your property. Note: I've upgraded them to 2 stars because the owners have done their best to try to remedy the (many) problems and seem equally horrified by the damage that was done and the mistakes that were made. Unfortunately, taking steps to prevent it from happening again cannot undo the damage to my poor house.

We originally booked with 89-Paint because their price was unbeatable. I called and they came over to give me a quote within two days, started the very next Monday, and it took 2.5 days to paint the majority of the interior of my house, ceilings included. All I had to do was be there in the morning to let them in and they did everything else-moved and covered furniture, took off outlet covers, etc.

They even patched all the holes from old screws/nails. My only regret is not getting them to paint even more rooms in my house! Will definitely recommend them to everyone and use them when needed in the future.

We had a wonderful experience with 89-Paint! We recently purchased a new home and Ethan came out for our consult. He was professional, listened carefully to what I wanted, and was incredibly flexible with pricing and sticking to our budget! They initially anticipated our job taking a full week, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was completed in three days!

It allows us to move in to our home that much faster. When we had some concerns about the quality of a few spots in the home (and I mean a few, minor spots), they IMMEDIATELY sent their crews back out, the project coordinator was in touch with me, and they addressed every single one of my concerns perfectly. First off, interior painting is a lot more of a disruption of daily life than exterior painting. That being said, we did a lot of prep work to get stuff out of the house and this really helped.

I have used 89 Paint on both an exterior and interior project. Their work was detailed, and well done. My house has three stories and I actually used binoculars to check the 3rd story - and they did an excellent job on the trim as well as the siding. I then subsequently hired them to paint my master bedroom. Their team was polite and professional and I would use them again if the opportunity arose.

My boyfriend hired 89 paint to do 2 rooms and the front stoop of our house. The house turned out well but my boyfriend said they did not paint the front stoop the correct color he gave them. He did not notice this until a few weeks after so he never did report this so they were never able to offer a fix which is not the company's fault. Immediately after he hired them I hired them to paint my entire condo.

I had several issues with the paint job once it was completed and my initial attempts to report and fix the issues with one staff member were not great by any means. Fortunately this company really cares about their customers and I had the owner of the company and another staff member Maria call me to rectify the situation. Not only did they offer to solve all my issues, which by then had already been fixed by another contractor, they went a few steps further and completely covered the fix and then some. I would recommend this company to anyone, just ask for Maria when you call.

Just about perfect is how it went! The one small problem that arose was resolved quickly and professionally. The crew was efficient, careful, and highly competent. The job boss, Lucio, was excellent. They will do all my painting from now on. I only have compliments and positive statements to make about 89 Paint (their phone number, by the way - it took me a while to figure that out.)

We used them to pressure wash the house and paint too. Member Comments: The cost was reasonable. They are very professional and responsive and overall, they do a comprehensive. They even power washed my wooden vents outside because it was getting a little mossy though I did not ask them to do it- that was very nice for them to do that.

HORRIBLE! Careless painters painted the shrubs, the lawn, and over spray on the foundation. They busted branches of my trees, stepped on my downspouts, dropped their ladder on my fence, dented the aluminum siding and pulled out the gutter spikes.

I found 89-Paint based on recommendations from neighbors that had used them before. The estimate process was straightforward and explained well. The painters were on time and fairly priced. The work was high quality and I'd recommend them to others.
