I was so fortunate to see their sign in a neighbor's yard. The staff at Jacob's Ladder are fabulous! Such a pleasure to work with! Their prices were so reasonable and their quote was right on point. I would 150% and more recommend them to everyone! I am looking for more projects to have them help me with!

I did my research and spoke to three other contractors before choosing Jacobs Ladder. I was impressed with their approach, body of work, no pressure or "hard sell" and reviews and recommendations. My Project Manager, Josh, was very responsive and took extra measures to accommodate my schedule to get work done before I was expecting family from out of town. Johnnie, my Field Supervisor, was on top of things during the entire job.

I really appreciated his attitude that it was like he was working on his own home and wanted it done right. And it was. I would wholeheartedly do business with Jacobs Ladder again and recommend them to anyone, Thank you Jacobs Ladder!

I recently hired Jacob's Ladder to replace the siding on an addition to my mother's house. Reagan contacted me almost immediately and gave me an estimate after looking at the problem. His estimate was extremely well priced and the work was done fast, cleanly and professionally. It only took 2 days and I couldn't be more pleased with the work! I will definitely use them again if needed!

The team at Jacob's Ladder understood what we were looking for and quickly guided us on how to achieve it - giving us options and being transparent with what was possible. For me personally, the highpoint of working with Jacob's Ladder was working with some of their professional staff, Josh and Johnnie. Among other things, they were responsive, attentive to my needs/wants, and respectful. I believe that excellent customer care is crucial in a time where it's challenging to simply find someone available to speak with by phone.

The painting services were good, prices reasonable, but the service by Josh and Johnnie will be what especially motivates me to recommend this company to my network of friends and family.

Jacob's Ladder is A+ from start to finish. I hired them for exterior house and shutter painting including window trim repair. They were professional, wonderfully meticulous and incredibly kind and responsive. Before leaving each day, they would neatly stack all the materials and supplies and clean up any debris from their thorough scraping and preparation work. I couldn't be more pleased. Everyone from Josh to Johnnie to Carlo and his incredible crew were fantastic.

The crew Jacob's Ladder sent to our home were TRUE CRAFTSMEN. (replaced siding, replaced a window, an exterior door, painted screen porch, tons of metal work) They stuck to the schedule, showed up every day, were professional, courteous, and cleaned up the work area EVERY night. They treated the job and the work as though they were doing the work on their own home.

Truly a group of experienced, dedicated, and perfectionist workers. I had no reservations about their being at our home even when we were not. I'd recommend them and hire them again in a heartbeat. Their workmanship is absolutely beautiful.

Jacob's ladder removed my old cedar siding and installed the Ascend compost cladding siding and did such a beautiful job. Justin was excellent to work with and the siding guys along with the site manager were just terrific. I would highly recommend this company for any of your needs. The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent!

Jacob's Ladder had the best prices and a great work crew. They did a great job on our siding and windows and some new installations of doors and windows. The crew communicated well about their timeline and completed the project quickly. Shorty answered my many questions.always with a smile. His whole crew worked super hard in the 90+ heat.with no complaints. Would highly recommend! The neighbors walking by keep complimenting the work done!

I'm so happy I went with Jacob's Ladder for my interior painting project. The entire process from initial inquiry to completion was much faster than I had anticipated and although the work was in our family room and kitchen, my family didn't feel put out at all by having the contractors inside. They did a great job, kept the process neat and organized and I was really impressed.

We used Jacob's Ladder to side part of our house and install some new windows back in 2014. We were very impressed with their craftsmanship and have recently called them back in this summer to do interior painting, more siding and more windows. We are so impressed with their responsiveness and their professionalism. Our painting team is outstanding.

They arrive on time, clean up and are so polite. The supervisor, Johnnie, checks in with the team regularly and is so attentive to our needs and requests. Highly recommend this company!

I can hardily recommend this company. I called them as they were located close to me. I explained what I wanted done and when I wanted it done by. Regan said he would try to meet my needs and when we were done talking he said he would have a team there the following Tuesday (4 days) to start work. Upon arrival the two workers politely introduced themselves and reviewed the work that would be done.

When Regan arrived on site he went over the project plan with the workers and they started. Sadly for me they found issues I had not seen previously, good for me, they were able to add it in to the project's time. They replaced and painted 15 plus boards of composite siding, 2 gable vents, installed a garage entry door and a few other issues and were still 25,000.00 less than siding my house and it looks as good as new. I have their number on speed dial in case anything else needs to be fixed.

Unfortunately we could not even get a proposal for our project. I guess just too busy!?!

New roof was installed yesterday. It is beyond all expectations. The crew was exceptional and would not know they had been in our yard. Even made sure there was not a loose nail our dogs may find later! They also did our detached garage and we could not be more thrilled. Seth, worked with us from day one and was so patient with all of our. questions and ensured we understood everything. Courtni in the office was so great with emails and responding to last moment questions.

I would highly recommend them for anyone who needs roofing needs. We are looking forward to using them on some other projects for our home! Truly could not find a better company to work with!

I was not at all satisfied with their performance. I had to hire a second painting crew to do over what they had done, plus complete the job. We had parted mid-job.

I had Jacobs Ladder paint and stain at my home. I could not be happier with the work they did. The people that did my work were very respectful of my property, very polite and the work was done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Jacobs Ladder without hesitation.

Overall, very happy with the work done by JL! The scope of our project was massive -- all but 2 rooms in a five bedroom house -- so JL's crews of 2 - 6 people completed in 9 days what would have taken me weeks, if not months, to complete myself. Very pleased that all the crews were kind, professional, hardworking, and non-smokers -- huge in my book! Additionally, not a single one seemed to have come directly from prison!

Also huge in my book. What lacked was attention to final details: excess paint left behind on light fixtures, door knobs, wall mirrors; nail pops left behind; larger patch areas left very rough looking. Bottom line: I would definitely hire JL again and highly recommend them for painting, BUT I would be a vocal nuisance to be sure all final details were attended.

We have had several jobs done by Jacob's Ladder over the past several years. Most involved light carpentry and painting, including a recent repainting of the entire exterior of our house. The workers are polite and efficient and the prices are very reasonable. The estimate on the whole house painting was more than 1500 below the next best estimate and 3000 below the highest estimate (we got three of them).

They are good about spotting issues with siding, caulking, etc., but always give you an estimate for any additional work before doing anything. I'm confident that we will use them again.

On time, skilled, quiet.the whole process working with this company went without a hitch.

Very impressed from start to finish. We had a couple of doors and windows replaced and vinyl siding installed. We also had the front porch wrapped and railings replaced. Justin answered many questions, made. suggestions, and exhibited great patience while we were deciding on colors, etc. No high pressure sales tactics. The crew showed up at the same time every morning and was polite and respectful. They did a great job cleaning up the site at the end of each day. We highly recommend Jacob's Ladder.

Having known Josh for a number of years and having dealt with a number of less than desirable painting contractors, we initially hired Josh to do some work solely on his character. Josh showed up to work when he said he would, was great to deal with and most importantly did a fantastic job. Needless to say, the next time I need some painting done, I won't hesitate to call Josh.

We recently had our entire downstairs painted along with three bedrooms. The kitchen and living room both had yellow paint with wood paneling and Jacob's Ladder did an incredible transforming it into a more modern style. The newly painted rooms feel brighter and we were so happy with how it all turned out - including the white washed fireplace which we were so happy we did. Seth, the president of the company, was involved throughout the process inspecting that things were done right and that we were satisfied with the work.

River City Painters was able to help us immensely with our move to our new home. We had 5 rooms that needed to be painted and a new baby on the way - it was important to us to get the work done before the baby arrived. Joshua made sure to arrange his schedule to help us out.

Seth came out, assessed our project, and gave me a quote the same day. He was extremely responsive and easy to work with - and very patient with me as I kept moving the project start date due to other moving logistics. His crew led by Reynaldo was on time, worked hard, paid attention to every detail and were very polite. They were also very respectful of my home and kept quiet knowing I had a sleeping baby in the house. They cleaned up and put everything back in place.you would never know they were here except for the amazing paint job they left behind. Would definitely recommend!

They were very professional and polite, and did an estimate of my job within 48 hours of my call! Even though my project was not something they specialize in, Justin gave sound recommendations and assessment of the needs and of the project. I will definitely use this company in the future! I felt like a valuable customer, even though all I had done was an estimate!

Very easy to work with. I contacted Joshua for a quote - he provided it and the cost was under what I thought I was going to have to spend. I had to move the date the work was done because my renters didn't move out on time and he worked within my small window of time.

These are my go-to painters and Richmond- they've painted the majority of the interior of the house over the last several years as well as some of the exterior. I was immediately impressed by their professionalism and appreciate their desire to be the very best.

Worst customer service ever. This company is so full of itself. I called, looking to get an estimate on a rather small project. I needed to have my son's bedroom painted. The woman on the phone would barely let me speak.

River City Painters painted the outside of the 4-unit in which my friend owns a condo. The inside was freshly painted and ready for listing. The unit was unoccupied before, during and after, the exterior painting.
