Sunburst Shutters

Our home is outfitted with shutters with the exception of 2 bedrooms and our dining room totalling 5 windows. In an effort to have the same look through the home I began requesting quotes from 6 different companies. All 6 companies were within $200.00 of each other, but with extremely different timelines. So we decided to go with Sunburst as they had the quickest turn around, albeit; not the least expensive.

We were quoted $2800 and some change for 5 windows. We had Jason stop by between appointments. He measured 5 windows from both bedrooms and the dining room. Normally I never accept a contract the same day. I sit on it and then call back. It avoids any regrets ( much like I am having now). We tried to process the payment and his systems were having issues.

We were sent an electronic contract ( that I failed to read ) paid the invoice and waited. Come install day. 4 shutters show up not 5. Install crew adamant it was 4 not 5. The paperwork showed 4. After speaking with the company and the sales rep ( not that I imagine he remembers after all this time) we are advices your out of S* out of luck. Gonna cost another $1200 but we'll throw in a 15% discount.

We declined. Rather give another honest company $1200 if that's the case. Never would we have gone with Sunburst Shutters if their quote was $1200 ABOVE all the other companies. Who would?! My advice review your paperwork! Don't trust the sales rep to be efficient unless this is how they do business. Either way read your work order.

We got our shutters YEARS ago and have LOVED them! More recently a couple of the magnet thingees broke on one set and we had a few louvers that became "lazy louvers" as I was told they are called if they won't stay up where you want them. We had the BEST customer service by George who came and took care of them quickly! He was very pleasant and gave us a few chuckles as well! Sunburst makes a fabulous product that is beautiful and their customer service is wonderful! Thanks, George!

We love our custom 9-foot Barn Door! Of all places, a shutter and window installation business is not where I would have thought to look for a custom Barn Door. However I'm thrilled I found them. Great Customer Service, Installation was quick and efficient, price was reasonable, and most importantly wow that door! My wife already wants them in multiple rooms, so we will be back. Highly recommend!

The entire experience with Sunburst was phenomenal. Like many others, we searched numerous companies and respective reviews. Their professionalism, friendliness, material quality, customer service and installation was above and beyond. We just had our new plantation shutters installed and we LOVE them. Ryan came out to the house and was prompt, friendly, and professional. He quickly installed shutters in three rooms and explained the features, use, and warrantee. I will definitely be ordering shutters again from Sunburst Shutters for our bedrooms, and I hope Ryan will be the one to install them. Our custom barn doors have been installed and they look great. Sunburst had the doors ready for installation ahead of the quoted time frame and the installation team was quick and professional. The work was well done. Our only complaint was a significant delay in getting the original bid. At the end of the day, however, we are pleased with final results.

Our shutters & barn door were installed yesterday and are AMAZING! The photos don't do them justice. Exceeded expectations! If you are in the market for plantation shutters do yourself a favor and have Sunburst Shutters & Window Fashions do the job. They were very competitively priced and more so when you factor in the quality vs cost of the other companies. Jason came out, was very professional and took the measurements which were spot on. He explained the options, listened to what we wanted and was able to meet all my requirements.

Day of installation arrived and Ryan was right on time. He was extremely efficient and professional and had the installation completed in no time at all. This guy is great, just read the other reviews and you will see the similar compliments time and time again. The 3 1/2 Polywood shutter look absolutely stunning. Please please please do not try a save a little money by buying a cheaper product. Plantation shutters are a great investment and these are worth every penny.

The quote was competitive and very informative. The installer adjusted to my schedule, was on time, polite, personable, helpful and very neat. He finished 1-2 hours early and the shutters look great.

I had almost $8,000 worth of work done on my home and it was terrible. Their motto should be we charge a high price for low quality of work. This job was to be completed in less than 6 weeks, and it took them 4 months and still the job isn't right.
