Southwest Door & Window

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. First off I ordered 8 doors for an apartment complex. It took 3 months to get the doors. When the doors came in I had to wait another month before the installers came out. Once the installers came out it was unreal how the first door was installed. I have pics to prove it. The door didn't close, it had a 1 gap at the bottom and was rubbing at the top.

The door was completely crooked. But the worst was yet to come. The molding was so crooked that I had to asked this company installers to stop what they was doing and leave because I was going to find a different door company to install the doors. This is outrageous that a door company cannot install doors. Save yourself a horrible headache and find a different company. An average joe off the street will do a better job. I can go on and on about how horrible this company. Check the photos if you don't believe me.

Had four exterior doors replaced and they did a terrific job. Were timely, neat and tidy. Would use them again!

SW Door did a great job for us installing custom new front and back doors in our 30-year old house nearly 10 years ago. They were helpful, on-time, fairly priced, and even spoke English. But I didnt review them then. This review is for going above-and-beyond. A few months ago a tiny part of our front door locking mechanism came loose, fell out, and was lost.

It was a special crew that held the door handle in place and was difficult to find. SW Door took my call and worked w the original manufacturer to identify the piece and get it shipped for me -- at no cost. There was no real revenue opportunity here TODAY for SW Door, but they did the right thing and really helped me out. So next project I have they will certainly earn my business -- again. And I might note, the doors they installed almost 10 years ago operate like a champ. Very satisfied and I'd highly recommend them.

I ordered a new sliding glass door for the master bedroom and a new dining room window. The day they were to be delivered and installed I was informed that the size of the window ordered was incorrect. So it had to be reordered. The sliding glass door was great and installed perfectly. However, it is now 6 months since the window was initially ordered and I still don't have it.

I keep getting emails with new delivery dates only to be cancelled with a new delivery date. I also never received the screen door that was supposed to be installed with the sliding glass door. I would never order from this company again. The installation and products are great but the customer service is terrible and totally unacceptable.

Southwest Door and Window was so helpful! I had a broken sliding door and full floor to ceiling windows along the same track in the sunroom. They were so helpful in explaining all my options juggling multiple needs and my budget. Communication was prompt and clear. The installation went smoothly. Due to covid manufacturing the doors took longer than I would of hoped but they were clear that timelines were longer than normal from the very start of the project. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

Got a whole new mahogany door, door frame and sidelights from them. They were way less expensive than the popular competitor that we cross shopped. Door arrived ahead of schedule, installation was perfect, and the quality of the door is spectacular. We had them stain it and have no regrets. 100% recommended and they'll be my first phone call for other doors that I'll replace in the future.

They replied back to my inquiry quickly. Unfortunately you have to purchase the door from them to get installation.

Great Company, they listen to your needs. German and his crew installed our patio French doors with doggie door. They did a wonderful job very detailed and throughly well done. They both communicated as well as with the company when an issue needed to be resolved. Thank you all for listening. And thanks to Kay she did a marvelous job.

I got their name based on a recommendation from a neighbor and was not disappointed. We replaced four exterior doors, and they did a great job making suggestions for the doors and also were careful to select trim and framing to match the rest of the room. Everyone we worked with was very friendly and polite.

Great overall company. I had done a lot of research on Thema Tru flush-glazed french doors and decided to purchase through Southwest Door and Window because their prices were very reasonable and they had positive reviews. Kay was very helpful during the ordering process and helped my get all the right options (black matte hinges, etc.) and answered a bunch of questions.

Their install team was very skilled and did a great job. The only issue I had was that a few of the hinges were scratched from transport or maybe the factory. Richard promptly followed up with me after the install and came out personally to replace all the hinges free of charge. Very professional and responsive. I would recommend them.

Southwest provided excellent quality and service at a competitive price. I contracted Southwest to replace all the doors and windows on a house my wife and I recently bought and remodeled. The owner Brandon was very thorough as he assessed what we were looking for and suggested window and door options. As a novice acting as my own general contractor I truly appreciated Brandon's professionalism.

His team of installers were amazingly skillful and efficient. It is incredible how nice the new windows look and how well they blend into the bones of the old house. Southwest was a pleasure to work with and I've recommend Southwest Door & Window to my family and friends and they've all had great experiences.

Excellent prices, very fair, and the installers were phenomenal. Converted my back sliding patio doors to 2 french doors with blinds between glass, and a dog door that was installed as well prior to install. They also redid my front door. The quality of the products and the quality and professionalism of the install was 2nd to none. Will definitely use them again - would highly recommend. I was looking to replace a wooden entry door for my home with a fiber glass door. I had 3 bids to perform this work. All of the bids I received told me that I would have to replace the entire door structure. Brandon was the only one that suggested to me that I did not have to replace it since the existing door frame was still in very good shape.

Brandon was always available. Installation was when and how expected. Couldn't be more pleased. Saved a ton over Home Depot AND Lowe's.

The team at Southwest Door & Window was so professional and quick! From placing the order to finalizing all the little details at install, it was a seamless. process. We got constant updates on delivery, they called before they came and the install guys were so nice! They thought about everything and were the friendliest group we worked with out of all our other companies. Overall, very happy with how great the experience was and how beautiful our new doors & windows look. I'd definitely use them again.

My situation was definitely one star and very similar to Noel K. If this steers one person away from Southwest then my 18 months will have served some purpose. I don't want to waste any more time with this company than I already have so will keep this short. * Multiple mistakes in ordering * Sloppy and apathetic install * Poor communication due to not returning emails or calls * Lack of responsibility and pride in their work from initial contact to completion of project * Parts and items that end up missing before install dates * Missed deadlines My project took a year and a half from the initial conversation to final billing.

That was a lot of wasted time and frustration. In the end it was the Window manufacturer, Milgard, that made things right. NOT Southwest. If considering Southwest Door and Window ask yourself how much is your time and sanity worth? Be prepared.they will test it along every step.

Sorry heartless people who only care about business and money. Not willing to give second chances to a hard working guy who got in trouble as a very young adult and has had a squeaky clean record since then!

Beware of this company. They start off well to get your business but once you sign don't expect to hear from them. We had to email and call constantly just to try to get an update on our doors and when they would actually install them. They finally got installed, but not to our full satisfaction, and we have not heard from them since.except for the overcharge to my credit card after the install. We've done remodeling on multiple houses and never experienced anything close to this appalling. My recommendation is to find another company and avoid the headaches.

My experience with Southwest Door & Window has been very positive. The door I purchased was delivered ahead of schedule and service after the sale was prompt.

Our last contact with them was 5 years ago (and a different house) and the window installer remembered me. It is nice to see that kind of retention with a skilled installer.

We are a remodeling company. We have used Southwest Door & Window several times in the past few years as a sub-contractor for our projects. They installed 2 sliding doors for one of our customers recently.

I only needed two windows for a den remodeling project that. I called several other companies and once they found out that I didn't want a house full of windows, were less than enthusiastic about working with me.

I had a very difficult experience with Southwest Door & Window. I interviewed three different door companies and Southwest was the one that seemed to understand what I was looking for - something a lot more 1960s modern than most doors that are going up right now.

I want to say thank you Brandon and Southwest Door & Window for the great windows and fast installation! This company takes their time to make sure you get what you want with ethics. The crew that they had come out was first class compared to must home improvement companies where you are worried who is in your house.
