Twice a year, our experienced service technicians perform an extensive inspection and tune-up of your complete HVAC system.

I am very happy with my a/c repair service from A-1 Heat & Air conditioning. Angelo was my technician, and he was on time, very professional and very thorough diagnosing my a/c problem. He knew exactly what was wrong with my unit. I had a drainage issue, and he unclogged it and then did a maintenance tune-up. My air conditioning system wasn't working when he came, and now I am nice and cool in my home.

I have been with A-1 Heat/Air for several years. I have always received excellent service. Tonight, service was excellent as always. Aaron did not hesitate to return my call for service. Sales rep Aaron said payment was not required until the job was completed. He promised to personally install the AC ducts. However, Aaron did not do any work. He outsourced the duct installation to two sub-contractors. I went in the attic to observe and one of them was spitting chewing tobacco all over in the attic. They failed to install the new return filter box, failed to put mastic on visible insulation in the ductboard around the furnace, improperly installed a duct in the main walkway in the attic, and later Aaron could not explain why the duct collar was installed backwards in the furnace after the self-contractors left.
The one A-1 employee onsite asked for payment. I told him Aaron told me payment after completion, and the job was not completed. Later Aaron told me he was coming to complete the job. After he was in my house, he said pay now, and he would send someone to compete the work. I called his office and they agreed to accept half payment now, and the remaining after completion.
I asked Aaron to write the remaining tasks down on paper or email, and he refused, saying he will remember. Days later another employee showed up and installed the filter box, but said he needed to go to Home Depot to purchase mastic to complete the other tasks. But, he said he needed full payment first. I told him that his office promised me they would do the job and told me payment after completion.
I told him to go home because it was late; come back tomorrow and finish the work, and I would pay the office directly after the job was completed. He said office is closed and pay now or he was calling the police to get them to force me to pay the remaining balance. I told him it was time for him to leave my property. He called the police. He refused to get out of my home.
I carried his ladder outside my home and placed it near his van. He carried his ladder back in my garage and stood in the garage way so the garage door could not close. Several times I asked him to leave my property. He continued to talk loudly on his phone to the police, telling them he was at a customer's house refusing to pay, describing the clothing I was wearing, giving description.
This is a nice neighborhood and I just bought the house. Children were walking on the sidewalk and I was afraid they would hear him. To avoid exposing children to this and avoid police showing up and to get him to leave, I gave him a check. He started to leave but then he blocked my driveway with his van so I could not leave in my car. I walked to his van and asked what was the problem and he said he was afraid I might cancel the check after he leaves. I did not have $2700 cash, so I offered a credit card. He accepted and finally left. Horror. Scary horrible experience. Everything was recorded.

I have an annual maintenance plan with A1 and they have been fantastic. Recently needed to repair a leak in one of my units - A1 was on it quickly - reasonably priced (specially pricing since I have a maintenance plan). My unit has been running as well as it did when I first moved in as the original home owner and it was brand new.

My partner called this company to get our AC unit fixed after it stopped working. Very fast and professional service. Technician came out and fixed the AC unit. Now he has working AC and heat! Very polite and the price was way cheaper than we originally thought. Definitely going to use this company again!

Contacted a 1 heat an air about replacing old duct work. Next day the sent joe out to estimate an configure ne duct system. Joe got back to me right away with a price an set up a date for job to be done. Joe, mason, and steve showed up on time an were very professional from start to finish. If you need duct work call A1 heat & air and ask for Joe my air system is working great air flo on all vents Thank You Guys for a great job.

One of the worst costly mistakes ever was using them. We ordered a complete AC unit with them which they sold and installed. The wiring by the air handler wasn't done right; and we had to repair it properly by another company. They never changed the drain plan -- they left the old, rusty, warped one instead of changing it. We didn't know about this or the bad wiring until our ceiling flooded.
