A Cut Above Exteriors

We chose A Cut Above Exteriors to reside our entire house from a cedar/T1-11 mix to all Hardie plank, and they did an excellent job; we highly recommend them! We met with other siding companies, and even though ACAE was more expensive, they had employee crews that worked directly for the company. We appreciated that the crew would have responsibility and accountability to the company.

The siding crew of Anatoliy, Chad, and Valerio were exceptional! They were extremely friendly, respectful, diligent, and efficient. Their workmanship, attention to detail, and overall work ethic were amazing. After each work day, the entire area around our house was cleaned up so well it didn't even look as though they had been there! They were very helpful in explaining what they were doing and answered all of the questions that we asked. Mani our sales rep, was very knowledgeable about the siding and did an excellent job of walking thru all the bid line items and explaining in detail. Randy, our project manager, was superb!

He was available thru email, text and phone at any time we needed. He was very professional, responsive, communicative, and on top of the project. We felt we were in good hands with everyone from ACAE. Our house siding and new ledgestone look amazing. The quality of work and attention to detail are just many of the reasons we would recommend them to our family, friends and neighbors!

Rodrigo, Brayham, & Claudio knocked out the installation of my new roof in a day and a half. They were remarkably fast and tidy. They kept the work very contained. I didn't have to move my small greenhouses away from the main house, which I was very appreciative of. They even used their vantage point to help me look for my missing chickens at one point! The project manager, Randy, was prompt and took the time to answer my questions. Thanks guys!

Our experience with A Cut Above Exteriors was excellent. Jamie presented us options for both the exterior work we had in mind and window replacements. He was 100% responsive but applied no salesman-type pressure. He also made himself available on a Saturday morning at the window showroom to accommodate our schedule, which I deeply appreciate. Later Sam came to our house to manage the repair and replacement of exterior siding, trim, barge boards, and porch skirt.

He was proactive, knowledgeable and accessible. He was careful to explain any cost implications related to adjustments requested by me so I would be fully informed. His crew included Nick and Dmitriy who were very hard-working, conscientious, and did an outstanding job using top quality materials. They were also courteous and thoughtful about clean-up, etc.

I pointed out one trim detail I wanted done differently as the project was under way and the team responded immediately and the change was in place within a day. I feel the pricing was quite fair. They will be the company I call on in the future for any exterior work to our hundred-year-old NE Portland craftsman. A Cut Above sells Renewal By Andersen windows.

A Cut Above Exteriors did an amazing job over eight years ago when I needed a new roof. That being said, when I needed new siding I called them right away. Randy, Bill, and the siding and painting crews went above and beyond. They were always there to answer my questions and walk me through each step of the process. They were always on time and extremely professional. Making an investment like this in your home can be stressful but necessary. They made the process easy, made me feel comfortable with my decision and I am very happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend them.

We had the siding on the front of our house replaced by A Cut Above. They did a great job with the installation and the work is high quality and done fast. The project manager (Josh) was really nice and responsive. He helped with various questions and getting additional requests completed. The crew (Nikolay, Dmitriy, and William) were really nice and I chatted with them a few times while checking in on the work. Overall, the whole project went smoothly, the final product looks great, and we had a good experience with A Cut Above.

A Cut Above is a phenomenal contractor. We are just finishing up building a custom home and chose A Cut Above for our Hardie Artisan and ash siding install. We dealt with numerous subs on the project and A Cut Above and the crew - Andrey, Vlad & Sergey were hands down our favorite! Ours was a complex project with no trim, mitered corners and crazy angles on the eaves. Andrey and team handled with no problem.

We were impressed with their craftsmanship, care and attention to detail. We even had them do some accent walls and ceiling in the house. The entire process starting with Jamie in sales, Sam managing the project went smoothly. These guys were a bright spot in a challenging project. Can't recommend them enough.

ACA along with Renewal By Anderson did a great job on installing new siding, new windows and full paint job of our very difficult house project. Bill our initial contact was very knowledgeable about different options available and was quick to deliver a quote for both windows and siding. The overall cost was not the cheapest but still competitive compared to other quotes. Sam the project manager communicated well if there was any chance for delay and found ways to keep the project moving even with a slight delay in getting the windows. Crew leads Andrey and Vlad were thorough in their work on site and kept a clean job site. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I would use ACA again.

We hired A Cut Above to replace the siding on the front of our house. The entire process went smoothly, from the initial quoting process, to the final walk through. We had a HUGE project that needed to be done that included all new siding, painting of the entire house (and shed) along with some stone work to the front of the house. Great from start to finish. I had siding replaced and a roof vent installed. In addition I had cedar corbels installed. I had several companies come out and give an estimate. Bill, a salesman from A Cut Above, presented a line by line estimate that detailed all work.
