We are a locally owned fencing business in the North Dallas area that specializes exclusively in fence repair and minor replacement services. Our competitive advantage is simple: by specializing in fence repair, we keep our costs low and pass the saving on to you. We don't deal with middlemen or subcontractors and our owner is present on every job site.
While other fence companies in Dallas Fort Worth often treat fence repair as side work or an easy foot in the door to sell you on a pricey new fence, it's our focus. By cutting out middlemen and large overhead and storage costs typically associated with fencing, we can confidently say you are getting the lowest prices in town without lower quality materials.

We hired Adam after reading reviews about DFW Fence Doctor and finding his number listed on ironfencedallas.com, DFW Fence Doctor's wrought iron division. Though you might find Adam associated with the ironfencedallas.com website and DFW Fence Doctor, he is NOT associated with them. His work is sloppy and he does not stand by his work to fix the problem, even after given plenty of opportunities to fix the issues. Here's a little rundown of the nightmare and headache we dealt with because of Adam: - I initially texted him and he was very responsive when getting information about the work we needed, which was to refinish/repaint the iron railing on our front porch. - He completed the work a few weeks later and the day he finished my wife was working (and the paint was still drying so I couldn't get a great read on the quality of the work), but he told me that once she/we had a chance to inspect the railing after it fully dried, it wouldn't be a problem for him to come out and fix any issues if we saw anything. - The next day we inspected the work and there were several problems.
The paint was already peeling off in numerous areas, and he got overspray on both the stone and brick on the porch. I texted pictures to Adam, and he said he'd come out the next day and said "I'll get it fixed for you". - After a few days of no updates, I texted again and didn't hear back. I gave him a few days and texted again, and he said he would stop by later that week.
He never stopped by. I texted again, no response. I tried calling him and got a vague non-answer that he had stopped by (when? I don't know, because I was home nearly all day and never saw him), and fixed some things but couldn't fix everything and had to come back. - After more texts and calls for updates when he never showed back up (we're now at about 6 weeks since the initial work was done), my wife tried calling him.
Surprise surprise, he answered right away since he didn't know to ignore her number like he had been ignoring mine. He told her he'd come by "no later than Wednesday" to fix the problems. He never showed. On Thursday, my wife sent multiple texts and tried calling multiple times, and he never responded. - I then texted him again, saying we felt like we deserved a refund for the poor work and complete lack of follow through.
That got a response from Adam, who claimed he was "out of town this week on an emergency call since Wednesday" and "just saw multiple messages and texts" from my wife after getting my message (conveniently, he apparently didn't have phone service all week until my message came through?). Even if the emergency call story is true, he lacked all decency to communicate that with either me or my wife to let us know of the situation. - According to Adam, I hired him, and my wife didn't. So, in his words, "I'll communicate with you and she needs to talk to you".
In other words, "I accidentally answered when she called because I didn't know she was calling to voice concerns and now I'm ignoring her". He also claimed that this seems to be a "husband/wife dispute" for some reason. I've never once hired a contractor who refused to talk to my wife about the job because, and I quote, "a man cannot serve two masters". Basically, he'll answer an unknown number the first time because he wants the business, but after that he'll ignore you if you're voicing concerns.
And if you're married, you'd better make sure you're both there when he agrees to start the job, otherwise only one of you is allowed to talk to him. You can find Adam's information on fencerepairdallastx.com, dfwfencebuilders.com and dallaspoolfence.com (that should be a red flag right there, that he needs multiple websites and business names.). Please save your money and avoid using him because you will just have to have the work redone by someone else!

I ordered and paid for a latch for my gate on March 19, 2020 and here it is May 1st and I still have not received anything. I have sent multiple emails and even left a voicemail to no avail! I really need this latch for my gate, but if I don't receive it within the next week I'm going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This isn't a threat, but I have no other way of getting your attention.

Wish I could give this owner and his 2 named companies 0 stars! Adam Hammons is a scammer, BEWARE! He took$1600 for a project he didn't even start! That whole half up front crap, and I'm not the only one he's done this too! He doesn't like to return texts or phone calls. The only good reviews he has is either done by his girlfriend/ fiance or friends, because there would be nothing but bad reviews. Hire at own risk, you've been warned. Look him up on the Better Busuness Bureau.

Everything started off well, he showed up when he needed too. His guys did our fence and he was there when we inspected it. He fixed a few things we found right then. I had no issues until we needed it to be fixed a few months down the road. Nothing major, loose panels, disconnected panels, shifting of gates from our soil. Relatively easy fixes if this is what you do for a living.
Well we've been trying to get him to come out for the last two months with no luck. We've asked and asked and it's always, maybe next week. He won't set a date and the fence is just getting worse. Very disappointed from the good reviews we read we were very confident in him. For a company that claims to have great customer service, I assume it's only great until they get paid. I would avoid them if you don't want to fix it yourself down the road.

This was the best service experience I've had in 13 years! We were in a big hurry to get a bunch of repairs done to sell our home quickly. All kinds of small issues: gate issues---rusted hinges, not being able to latch a fence, plus pool gate fence issues and I was hoping he could repair my large yard sculpture art, which had rusted apart and was in a pile.
I hopped onto yelp, liked his reviews, called him first thing this morning and he was at my house within the hour. I been made uncomfortable with repair men in the past so I am always nervous when I first meet someone new, but after just a few minutes of meeting Adam, I could tell he was genuinely a nice guy and was at ease immediately. He has a very calm positive energy and even our protective Pitt Bull took to him fast-and that's not always the case!
He didn't take long--I was pleasantly surprised. My gate is working better than it ever has, he reattached pieces to my sculpture and even reinforced some weak areas I hadn't noticed. His price was too good to be true and I would highly recommend him for your welding and gate needs!

This company is bad news. Adam Hammons took several thousand dollars deposit to erect my fence in early October. Said the deposit was to get the fence sections fabricated (by Collin County Fence Supply) and the fence would be installed in "around three weeks". Contacted him in late October and he said he was running behind as he only did quality work and could not be rushed.
Would have fence done in two more weeks. Contacted him when he did not show up and he said the fence panels were being fabricated and he would get fence completed shortly. Now he claims he is injured and can't get work done. He refuses to give back my deposit. It is now January 24th and Today I went on line and found dozens of complaints about his work. Many very similar to my experience. Check with Yelp or the Better Business Bureau and STAY AWAY FROM ADAM HAMMONS AND ANY COMPANY HE WORKS WITH

Excellent work. Adam is honest, straightforward and easy to deal with. He responded, evaluated and fixed our iron gate in a timely manner. He explained everything that was wrong with it and how he planned to fix it. I wish we had found him much sooner. The long story is that we had an electric wrought iron gate installed a couple of years ago that would either not open completely or open too much, hit the wall and close half-way.
We got two different companies to come and fix it, and they couldn't offer anything beyond "change the battery", "increase the force", "reset the limits". Adam noticed the hinges had been installed wrong and were not secure, the gate was too wide for the space and also was crooked. A very high price we paid to be left with so many problems. It has proven to be really hard to find honest, capable and dependable craftsman such as Adam, and last, his price was more than fair.

Adam and crew did an awesome job on our fence replacement. Professional and kept in contact with updates. I especially like the new shark system gates, they are very solid and a much better system than what we had previously. Price was outstanding after getting a few different quotes and comparing the quality of product Red Rock Fence offers over the others. I would recommend Red Rock Fence all day long.

Despite some reviews from the peanut gallery on this page. I chose to go with Red Rock for a number of reasons. I contracted with almost 2 years ago. I got busy and forgot to give my review then but this one is more valuable in the sense that it shows what most contractors lack., that is customer service after a final check. I had a warranty issue with our fence.
The guys were timely in getting to the repair even though it had been several years since the work was completed. You don't find that often. Extremely impressed with these guys!

RED ROCK IRON and CEDAR FENCE ROCKS! I had some major issues after a hail storm and from a previous owner who had let our fence trend downhill! I read all of Red Rock Iron and Cedar Fence reviews and liked what I read! I called Adam and he said he could swing by from another job and take a look at my fence. He is true to his word and was so helpful.
I love when a contractor does exactly WHAT they say they are going to do (and they went above and beyond on the job) and do it WHEN they say they are going to do it. Adam is true to this word. His crew showed up on time, were so professional and did such an amazing job! We were impressed to say the least. Our fence looks amazing. The workmanship is superb! Can't brag enough on Adam and his team.
They even clean up and you never know they were even at your home.what a concept for some contractors! I will refer everyone that I know needed any iron or cedar fence work completed! Adam and his crew at the best and the most personable! If you go with another company.it's your loss! I have had a hard time with contractors doing what they say they can do and doing it when they say they will do it. AND doing a great to superb job. Not an issue with Red Rock Iron and Cedar Fence! Thank you Adam and crew for everything!

I am unhappy with the work Red Rock did replacing my iron fence. They "completed" the job in May 2015. I was so disgusted with Adam, I hired another contractor to repair/ replace work I felt was substandard. A lot of work Red Rock did is already rusting. Three posts are leaning. and when I dug down one post on my corner to sand and repaint, I noticed the post was "extended by 2x2 's.into the ground.
One of the 2x2's was broken off and open to the dirt. The rust at the base of this pole where I dug out was significant after only five months. This is only part of the issues. I filed a complaint to the BBB and minutes after I send the response Adam called me talking about slander. After our discussion he backed off and said well I guess we just disagree. I had no response. I have pictures of, in my opinion, of the poor workmanship. I can also provide information of the contractors who came in and worked behind. him.

Red rock fence is the best fence company I have ever worked with, they were very polite and hard working. Adam did an amazing job on giving me a price for my privacy fence. The crew was on time and worked hard to finish. Adam did a great job communicating with me about the build and of some minor issues, he did a great job fixing the problem. I cant tell you enough how awsome this company is I wouldnt recommend anyone but red rock. Thank you so much you guys rock.

I contacted Red Rock Fence after my backyard fence fell down for the 2nd time in 9 months. I wanted to find a contractor that would provide a solution that would fix the root cause of the fence damage, so I would not be repairing the fence yet again 9 months later. When I first spoke with Adam over the phone, he was very professional and was able to give me a quote over the phone after I texted him pictures of my fence.
At first I wanted to just repair the wooden post but I started to feel like the better solutions was to go with steel posts. While talking to Adam on the phone, he agreed to come out and give me a quote to replace all the wooden posts. After spending time with Adam, going over all of my options, I was able to make a deal that day to get my fence repaired.
One of the conditions of signing the deal was that he bring his guys by the next day and temporarily fix the fence, so it wouldn't inconvenience my next door neighbors. Red Rock Fence arrived promptly the next day and temporarily fixed my fence. After a small 1 week delay, the two guys that replaced all of my wooden posts arrived promptly and were very courteous.
I was told by Adam that the job would take 2 days but his guys were able to complete the job in 1 day. Red Rock Fence also fixed a minor issue with my fence latch at no extra price. I am very happy with the work Red Rock Fence did. Red Rock Fence was very professional and I would recommend them to anybody.

Red Rock Fence is rockin my house with this new contemporary handrail. We are so impressed with their work and delivery. This was a last minute project we wanted to get done before the holidays. Adam Hammons and his crew did what they had to in order to make our deadline. We absolutely love the new look and couldn't be more happier. If you need any custom iron fence or iron railing done then I wouldn't hesitate to call them. Highly recommend.

Needed fence post re aligned and gate hinges redone. Called several companies and Adams quote was not the cheapest not the most expensive but he is former military and a great guy. I support our guys that have severed. Very impressed with the work and how he just tackles the job of getting those rotten post out of ground and new ones put in. and very pleased with the quality. I had no desire to be doing this in 100 plus degree heat. I would not hesitate to use him again. I appreciate his customer service and his can do attitude.

Red Rock Fence built an iron safety fence in my back yard, including an auto-close safety gate and latch. They did an outstanding job. From the outset Adam was prompt and friendly, helping me understand my options and was very straight-forward. HIs pricing was fair and his time estimates were spot-on. Adam also helped me address a fence-lean as my cedar privacy fence was fairly old and had some problems. All of those problems are addressed and I now have a beautiful backyard, complete with a sturdy, well-built iron fence. Thanks Adam and crew!

Addam is a nice guy, it's his quality of work just isn't that good. All the hinges on gates needs to be replaced. Polls have already rusted away. Polls set in ground already compromised, they're extremely wobbly. My aggregate cement around the pool has been spray-painted black around all the base of the post. the post base are already starting to rust. I've lost five caps to the top of my fence post. Because they are cheep and don't fit properly. All in all. Just use a different company and save yourself an extreme headache.

I can't say enough about the guys at Red Rock. Outstanding customer service and great delivery of service. I recommend them without reserve. Honest guys that take pride in their work. I hired them almost a year ago and I had a small warranty issue needed. Adam answered my voicemail same day and stood behind his product.

Too bad cannot give negative stars. Adam, started my fence job in November 2013 and still has not completed the job. no communication he does not return calls, text or emails. Adam, gave me a 5 year warranty with the fence. Fence is already cracking wood splitting. what good is a warranty when the company won't back it up. I filed a complaint against him with the BBB, Adam never responded. STAY AWAY
