Call this place to come in and cut a copy of a smart key, I was surprised when they told me the price, I had ask at a place in Alabama about cutting the key and they refused to make because I didn't buy it with them. Now the gut at the counter at ABC did it in less than 5 min, and was very reasonable priced. THANK YOU SO MUCH JUAN.

ABC lock n key is the best in town! I travel 20 miles for their service; always prompt and professional. Their key copies never fail, even the unusual shaped ones. I highly recommend them.

Very quick and courteous. I had a deadbolt re-keyed and it only took 10 minutes. I also had extra keys made in that same time. Quick and friendly service. I definitely recommend.

Locked myself out of my car at the Walmart on Mesa. They were there in 10 minutes. Took less than 10 seconds to open my car, these guys are awesome at what they do. Super friendly, affordable, and professional.

Attempted to have two residential keys made. Turtles and Chill examined my master and whipped up two copies in less time than it takes Usain Bolt to run to make a beer run to the nearby Dollar General. Unfortunately, neither key worked. I believe the width of the copies is too big. Awarding two stars though because the guy was really nice, although he misidentified Link on my shirt as Zelda. Common mistake. Will update this review if I can get these two keys made properly.

After attempting to install new hardware, including touch pads on the doors & spending hours with subpar results, I decided to reach out to to the experts at ABC for help. Will was very professional in setting up the appointment, only one business day after I reached out. He kept me informed when a previous appointment went long and advised me when the technician was on his way. Juan was very professional and very efficient, helping to remove all previous hardware and installing new hardware on the front door, back door, entry garage door and the two external gates.

His installation was quick and clean, just as expected. For any future key or lock related issues, ABC will be at the top of the list for me. Reaching out for their help was the best decision I made today!

Walked on to get a key made for a strong box. The gentleman assisting me not only took his time and informed me that the box in question was manufactured in 1898. He had two keys in the store that would possibly fit. They didn't so he took pictures of the lock, sent it to the Owner who called in less than 45 seconds. They informed me that unfortunately they didn't have such an old key and referred me to another locksmith that could possibly help me. Haven't seen such patience and professionalism in a very long time. Definitely my locksmith of choice.

This place is SUPER cool! They have such a great store. I had a Chevy truck that another company wanted to charge me $100 for a copy of my key! I thought that was high. I went to ABC and the price was much better and they actually explained to me why it's more expensive than a regular key. Super patient and super nice people! This will be my regular lock and key place for as long as I am in El Paso!

They tried their best to help with a new key but were unable to do so for a truck cap. Didn't charge me anything for their efforts. At their suggestion I was able to get duplicate keys from the manufacture. They were able to provider duplicate keys for my Toyota Truck. I would definitely do business with them again. Stopped in to have them make a spare key for a used car I bought my son that only came with one key. They got it done quickly and the key works, but when he said "it may take a little while because I'm by myself", and I responded "that was fine, I'll go next door to Sam's and be back at 3:00pm", their closing time (Saturday), he responded that I "better be back before 3:00 or I'll be closed" (it was 2:00pm). WTF - you have my car and the keys, and you threaten to close on the dot and leave me stranded.

I went back at 2:40pm and it was ready, but God forbid I show up at 3:01pm.? Also, when I paid with my debit card, their iPad style payment system solicited me for a tip. Are you kidding me? you're a locksmith not a waiter! What's next. soon plumbers & electricians & cashiers at Walmart will start soliciting tips I guess?

Very sloppy in handling work left to be done. I left a lock set and requested that it be re-keyed - told it would be $10.00. Went to pick it up and was not really paying much attention - was given someone else's lock and charged $22.00. When I questioned the amount from what I was told, the guy just shrugged his shou;ders. I took the lock home and tried to make it work, finally realizing that it wasn't mine.

When I took it back and asked for mine (lock set), the guy reached under the counter and handed me my lock set - and said we hoped you would come in and get it. They only knew they'd given me the wrong one because the person to whom it belonged came and asked for his - in other words, no matter what you tell them when you leave your property, they put no tag on it with name or phone or anything - they just throw it under the counter and hope you come in later.

I got a (bare) grudging apology from the worker standing there and that was the end of that - no big deal to them. I'll never go in there again, despite the fact that I'd used them for 30years. So extremely sloppy and uncaring to customer.

Just a quick in and out to get some keys copied. This was done in short order at a very good price. They also gave sone good advice on the quality of various padlock models. It's hard to write a detailed review on such a short visit. One day I will have them rekey my offices and then the review will be more substantial.

They did the job right and timely but the quote they gave me was $40 to open my truck and $35 to make a key to replace the one I lost the guy opened my truck and said it was $60 for opening the vehicle and $65 if I wanted a key made so that's so $50 difference from the original quote I was given!

My wife and I are very impressed with the service and the collection of key sets they have NFL football, comics, breast cancer and they are expanding with more NBA and more. We had two key fobs programmed for my wife's vehicle for a very reasonable price. We spent about $175.00 without concern and pleased. AWESOME!
