Holden Roofing

My husband and I have been in our home 6 years and were looking to do some needed updates and repairs. I was at home googling companies when Al a representative from Holden knocked on our door, literally divine intervention. Al surveyed our home for hail damage and was able to work with our insurance to save us thousands of dollars. The highlight of the process was Al and his authenticity. He was caring and attentive and most importantly he was genuine.

No respect for soliciting signs. Will tell you to go ahead for full replacement even if they found penny size dings not your shingles, dents on gutter pipes - replace gutters. Don't file a claim unless you see real damage.

We worked with Austin "CAP" Bridges with Holden for my mom's roof. She's not big with technology, so it was very reassuring that he was very patient and thorough throughout the entire process. He did an awesome job helping her address her roofing issues and worked with our insurance company to get a new roof from a recent storm that came through her area in Leander Tx.

He helped her pick out new shingles "True-definition duration series in driftwood from Owens Corning". I certainly appreciate a person that can put themselves in the customer's shoes and treats others how they'd like to be treated. If your looking for help with a new roof or an inspection ask for CAP!

Started off great with the roof and gutters but it's now been 5 months and they still can't finish the job. Finally got them to send someone out to stain the fence and so I took the day off and he didn't show up. I had to call to see what was going on and they said he would be there the next day so my wife took the day off and nobody showed up.

He finally showed up a week after he was initially scheduled, when nobody was home. Not only did they stain my fence the wrong color (it should be the same color as my neighbors fence) but they got stain all over the brick, windows, screen and cement on my patio. I called them the next day and they said they would come back that Friday to clean everything and re-stain the fence.

Another no-show and showed up randomly the following week, again when no one was home. Re-stained the fence, but it's still the wrong color and all of the overspray on my house, windows and patio has still not been cleaned up. Lady called to collect the final payment and I explained everything and she said someone would call me that day, 3 weeks later she called back to see if I was satisfied with the work and I told her I was still waiting for someone to call me back.

She told me she was going to make some calls. 1 week later, I finally called and said I was fed up. Downspout is too short and water accumulates in my entry way, overspray has not been cleaned, fence is still the wrong color and work on the back of the house hasn't even been started. AFTER 5 MONTHS! Somebody is supposed to come out tomorrow and they said they would have everything fixed within the next 2 weeks, lol, but I'm not holding my breath.

David with Holden Roofing obviously can't read. He'll just come knocking, even with a no soliciting sign. Then when you ask him to leave, he refuses. Class act trespasser.

The roof itself was installed well. However, a ladder was put through my window. The company knew that I was out of town while this roof replacement was done, that evening my parents were driving by and noticed the busted window so they boarded it. Had my parents not driven by, I would have had a busted out window in my house for 5 days. I am still in the process of getting this window fixed, it has been over a month and many calls to their office to try to get it fixed.

I think it will be around 2 months of me having a boarded up window due to their lackadaisical approach to getting this resolved. I have had to call so many times to get this figured out (try to get them to call me back, then schedule the window guy, have you paid the window guy, etc). My project manager was a nice guy, and the roof seems nice but I cannot recommend due to how poorly they have handled this situation. I'm hoping I do not have any roof issues if this is what it takes for them to solve an issue that happened during the installation.

Do NOT do business with this company, particularly if it involves the sale/purchase of a new home. They almost cost us the purchase of our home. They are so greedy and stuck their nose into the transaction demanding money be withheld at closing for a roof that had not even been started yet and no materials ordered. They put a lien on the property, and cost the seller $750 to get out of their contract. They are rude, manipulative, greedy, and sneaky. Avoid at all costs!

Update #2: Still incomplete Update: They still haven't completed the job. After they received the rest of their money, they would not complete the last piece of work they were supposed to do. My advice, make sure they finish everything they promised before giving them the rest of your money. Because once they get the rest of your money, they will stonewall and ignore you.

The replaced my roof a little over a year ago. They were very attentive and appeared to do what I thought was a good job at the time of installation. It supposedly came with a 2-year warranty. Fast forward 14 months and I now have a roof leak. I called multiple times per week, for the last 3 weeks, trying to get someone to come out and look at it. Kept getting dumped into a general delivery mailbox without a return call.

Finally got a call back and was scheduled to have someone come by and take a look at it. I took time off from work for our agreed upon time only to have him "no show me" and add to the frustration, I had to chase him down and the excuse what something came up and I ran out of time. We rescheduled for today at 2PM. I took time off of work (again!) and it's now 5PM and still no one has showed up. I'm very frustrated to say the least!

Ignored our "No Soliciting" sign and knocked on our door while we were in the process of euthanizing our elderly cat with terminal cancer. Definitely never using this company for anything. If you can't respect your customers privacy and property you don't get their business. This is an update to a recently bad review that I gave to this company after the recent ice/snow storms of this past February. This bad review was due to what I though was an issue with my roof which was installed 2 years ago by Holden Roofing and a water leak to one of my bedrooms which cause severe damage to my carpet and the wall. I was to quick to judge the company, before they had a chance to react and correct the missed appointment.

Today Mr. Jarrod Adreon (Area Sales Manager) along with his crew to include a Customer Service Specialist came to my house to survey the damage. After checking the entire area to include the roof and the damaged room they were able to determinate that the damage was "not" due to something wrong done during the installation of the roof, but was due to the amount of ice/snow accumulated in that specific area of the roof that cause the water to backup into panel away from the shingles. Jarrod went above and beyond his duties by taking the time to explain the issue in detail and directed his crew to add additional materials to reinforce that area and protected for any future extreme weather issues. Run, away from this company! Pushy from the beginning and wanted to charge me almost 100% more than other roofers. As in 5 other roofers. Thankful I had experience in owning properties and had a few roofs replaced and repaired. Without naming the specific salesperson, he talked about how he's the #1 sales person and he's an expert in his field.

They try to get you to sign a form stating that if "they" get your insurance to pay you are obligated to use them. If not, you pay them $750. All the while charging you double! Brochure is nice but don't be fooled. RUN!

Brandon Boudreaux was very accommodating to our schedule and showed up wearing a mask during all of our meetings. He met with the insurance adjuster and we now have a completely new roof.

The company over charged. The sales rep Marcos promised me work that was not completed. They took 2 months to fix the problem. Will definitely not recommend then.

Avoid this company at all costs! Extremely dishonest, actually encouraging you to cheat your insurance company.

Had a roof recently replaced by Holden. Great work. Austin Bridges was our consultant - former military with an exceptional, high moral code of conduct. Austin was straight forward, explaining each step along the way. He ensured all work was completed properly and professionally. I highly recommend getting in touch with Austin if you need a roof in the Round Rock/Georgetown/North Austin area.

I would like to retract my earlier review. I have since discovered the insurance company did pay for the new roof on my mother's home. I apologize for not verifying this information before I submitted my previous review.

Check my bad spot on roof and the remaining roof. Repaired my bad area free and advised on potential future problems. They were professional and courteous. Will definitely use for future work.

I had the pleasure of working with Andrew White from Holden Roofing. Andrew was very thorough in his explanations and made very clear the process of getting a new roof. He was patience and did not place any pressure, allowing things to unfold at their pace. Andrew even worked with me and my insurance company to ensure that the scope of work was captured correctly and that there were no surprises.

The install crew was impressive. They were able to get the majority of the work done in one day, with very minor fixings on the second. They were thorough and even had the patience to let me take my dogs out on leashes periodically. Overall my experience with Holden Roofing was beyond expectations. They were prompt, polite, and patient in every step of the process.

I am a retired insurance adjuster. I also have YEARS of roofing experience. These guys are crooks. To get these people to comply with No Solicitation guidelines call the Texas Department of Insurance on them. They use high pressure, and bury deductibles, which is not legal in the State of Texas. The policy owner MUST pay his/her deductible. If you not, you are committing Insurance Fraud.

Its a Jail Felony and comes with a steep fine. Home Owners Beware! NEVER EVER pay any roofer in advance for ANY service and never sign any contract that has money attached to it that will be payable if you back out. Again, these guys are crooks!

Not a company I would recommend. They came out, said we had hail damage and went over everything that would be covered by insurance. They insisted we sign a letter of engagement saying that they would meet with our insurance and take care of the claim from start to finish. Then after they met w insurance and insurance rejected. They failed to answer calls or to be responsive in any form. They want your business, but make promises they can not keep and fail to act in a professional manner.

I had Holden Roofing come in to install a new roof after a hail storm. They did a great job handling that project. Now we have had a series of rainfalls and my roof is leaking to the point where the ceiling has fallen in. I have made calls to get someone out to look and they sent Julio from Houston who drove all the way up and fixed the problem. Great service!

Aggressive company that ignores no soliciting signs, and more specifically, Do Not Knock, Do Not Disturb signs. Like others have mentioned, if you have a sleeping baby, this company will solve that and make sure that your baby is wide awake and you are miserable. They will knock on the door, and then they will ring the doorbell, and will not take no for an answer. Only when asking them which part of no soliciting and do not knock or ring doorbell signs they're unclear of, then they'll stomp off and pout.

We bought a house that had been roofed the year before by this company after a hailstorm that affected the neighborhood. We discovered after the closing that some of the roof vent caps were leaking during heavy rain, because Holden hadn't replaced any of them and they were rusty. Yep, they left the 20-year-old rusty roof caps and put on a new roof.

So we called them, and they sent out a couple of guys to replace a few of these roof caps and to apply a heavy dose of caulk to the rest, all under their warranty. They refused to replace them all. We saw some more leakage during the very next rain, and they wouldn't return my phone calls. I called their main number daily for two weeks and left multiple messages, and finally gave up and called a different roofing company.

We had to pay that company to redo the section around the work the Holden guys did, because water was getting under the shingles. Since then, we discovered through an Austin Energy audit that Holden had removed four vents and patched over the openings on the west side of the house during their original roofing job, thereby reducing attic ventilation and rendering it hotter than Hades even on a mild day.

So we had to pay another roofing company to come put them back in (with new roof vents, of course). This is our third home in Austin, and the first one where we've had to deal with issues like this resulting from a bad original installation. Their poor follow-up in our case made us lose faith in them completely.

I am a Real Estate agent and Holden Roofing has saved numerous sales and buys for my customers! My roofing specialist is Taylor Fountain and she is phenomenal. Not only was she incredible when it came to working with my clients and their insurance companies but she was there for every step of the way. 1) Initial Inspection 2) Adjuster Meetings 3) Build Day 4) Final Inspection.

My customers were also incredibly impressed. From the time we had a contract signed with her the roof was on within 6 days! #SavedTheDay #Austin #Roofer Also, love the fact that they have a transferable labor 2 year and lifetime single warranty! This is a definitely plus when you're transferring home ownership!

We had our roof done last October 2017. I can not speak more highly about how easy and professional this company was to work with. Holden was diligent, thorough and punctual when scheduling inspection and delivery. I was even out of town when the roof went up and I was comfortable with the way things went. Easy process.

From some of my friends they have been very satisfied with their work when I get ready to do mine which will be in the near future I plan on using Holden Roofing!

Holden was instrumental in getting our roof claim approved. After an initial rejection from our insurance company for hail damage, our rep Chad Sipolt encouraged us to fight for additional inspections and guaranteed if we did, we'd get an approval. Following his advice paid off and we were approved. The roofing job was done fast and looks great.

Bad service, un-supervised workers during construction. Did not follow-up after the job was complete and unethical contract proposal.

We needed repairs to our roof/chimney due to extensive damage from a very determined raccoon. Our representative was Tony Chiarle, a personable and knowledgeable young man who made sure that the job was completed in a timely manner, with little or no inconvenience to our family :-. Tony and his crew were professional, polite, on time, and did an outstanding job.

Terrible experience! Low quality work and bad follow through repairing items they damaged.

In January last year we experienced a hail storm in Katy. Tony Chiarle stopped at our house just after the storm and after inspection said the roof needed to be replaced. I contacted my insurance company and after two inspections they still would not approve a roof replacement. With Tony's and Holden Roofing management advise the decision was go into arbitration.

I would like to let you know what a wonderful job your representative and the crew did in getting our new roof put on yesterday. Your representative was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process and actually came on-site to make sure the job was going well and to make sure I was satisfied with how the job was progressing.

They did a great job on roof. But left unused materials in front yard. Still in front yard now. Was promised by salesman William that the cutter on front of house was included in estimate. I did not get it in writing so that's my fault and my loss.

Tony was very professional and let us know exactly what was to be done and when. Holden Roofing did a great job and Tony was there when he said they would do the work. He contacted us whenever we called and made sure that everything was done as we expected. Great Job Tony and Thanks.
