We've had our above ground pool, from Eastgate, since July of 2010 and have been beyond pleased with the professional, friendly people who we've dealt with over the years. This spring, I installed a new filter/pump and a new heater. The filter tower had a issue and we had to take it back to the store where they promptly solved the problem. We then had a self-induced issue with the heater (improper installation) and after some e-mail problem solving, a tech came the house, fixed the heater, re-routed a pipe to the filter so it would work better and all was well! TOP FLIGHT SERVICE!

We needed a new pump part and Eastgate Pools was out of the one we needed. A manager told us how to modify the part they did have in stock. My husband modified it and it did not work. Guess what? They would not return the part. They are only looking out to sell items and make money. We have been going to Eastgate pools for many years. We will no longer be going they. This was extremely bad customer service!

I was surprised and glad to find Eastgate Pools and Spas in this part of town. It's easy to get supplies for my hot tub. I got a very spiffy chiminea and will go back for a heated table later. Ron was very knowledgeable and helpful, and gladly put me on the email and mailing lists. For accessories, I can now earn points for money off future purchases. Glad to be a customer here.

I just wanted to send a note on the professionalism and attitude of the installation crew for our new hot tub. Kenny and his crew worked professionally and quick on our installation. I was impressed with his understanding of the functionality, operation and maintenance needs for our hot tub. He displayed confidence and represented the Eastgate Pools and Spas name very well. I highly recommend him and will request him on any future maintenance needs we may have.

I never write reviews but had to share my experience on this one to show you this place is all about taking your money yet won't help you as the customer when their product s quality is an issue. I bought my hottub from eastgate pools for one and have bought every chemical / supplies for past 3 years since day I bought my hottub. Today I however needed to return a product.
I bought a filter cleaner spray and followed the directions exactly to prevent foaming of the hottub and actually went above and beyond rinsing the filter to prevent it yet it made my hottub nothing short of a huge bubble bath. I drained my hottub 3 x and rinsed the filters 30 min each time and won't help. So I decided I ll go back and buy new filters since the spray detergent prob has damaged the filters.
So it's 102.00 for the filters, and I explain to the employee the situation and I'm told that's normal and that's shame it happened. I say well that's not Normal when it says rinse throughly to prevent foaming, and I went above and beyond rinsing and it still happened. So at checkout I say return this so either apply the credit to this order or put it back on my credit card.
I was told I cannot process a return. I then was told sounds like I have an issue with the manufacturer not them. Now mind your they re label all their products so there's no phone number to call or "real company" to call to discuss product issue. I then said sir I'll give you another opportunity to credit me 12.99 so this product I'm not happy with.
I was told that cannot be done. I said I bought hottub here and for 3 years all my product are you willing to let me walk out of here and me buying all my product s from here on out somewhere else over 12.99? He said I'm not authorized to process a return you can take it up with a manager when he comes back next week. I simply said ok I'll be buying all my supplies from Leslie's pool supplies from this day forward.
And just an fyi. The 2 filters I need were 12 dollars cheaper, and their products are cheaper and bigger. And here's another warning. Walk into the us place you ll be stared at by about 4 -6 employees all expressionless and has the personality of a brick, and cannot answer any knowledge questions. Do your self a favor and go to Leslie's like I did, 0 loyalty from this place.

I was in a bit of a jam and in need of a key part that I could not find around town at different places. This business was recommended as a potential source for the part. Taylor at Eastgate pool & spa received my call, helped me find what I was looking for in stock, and even helped load the piece into my car after purchase. He was a huge help today and I really appreciated his customer service and knowledge of the trade. Thank you to him and this business; I will be back to shop more.

Visited the store last Friday to buy a replacement filter for our hot tub. Sales staff did not seem too eager or friendly, waiting on customers. Sales clerk looked up the appropriate filter for our hot tub and I purchased it--$40.00 plus dollars. When I returned home, we realized it was the wrong one. On Monday, I returned it----having to drive all the way back from New Richmond, again--sales staff not seeming friendly.
I explained they had sold me the wrong filter. The new filter was $5.00 plus dollars more. I mentioned that I should not have to pay the extra because it was their fault. His response was "Accidents do happen". Okay, I agree and I also realize (I) should be the one to know what filter MY tub takes. But, still---at least they could have thrown in a.99cent spa scent or SOMETHING, ---considering gas to drive there is $3.15 a gallon and considering-----as I found out that I can buy the same filter through Amazon for $16.99 and delivered the NEXT day AND not have to deal with their unfriendly attitudes and prices.

We purchased a vacuum head approximately 2 weeks ago. We have tried to use it several times, but it causes our vacuum hose to collapse. We took it back in, but unfortunately do not have our receipt. We were not looking for a refund, just credit towards something that would actually work. We were told no, that's why they give us the paper receipt.
I understand not giving a refund, but a credit should have been issued for a product that doesn't work. After 20 years of doing business with them, this will be the last time.

So we had our pool installed 11 YEARS AGO. The first year, these cracks started showing up and we notified Eastgate well with our 1 year warranty. The DID come out, look at it and said they would address i it 'soon'. We waited a YEAR, called them again, they came back out (personnel changes they said caused the delay) and said they would address it. ANOTHER YEAR passes and I called again, they returned the call and said it was on their 'to do' list.
This is 11 years later. NOTHING. a couple years ago they did call and ask to show a client our pool that wanted to put one in, in our area. I said, sure, come on out. They must have looked at their records and figured they didn't want to lose a sale. We've tried to patch it.etc.(there are more crack), but they didn't honor the original warranty and zero follow up. Please think twice and keep on eye on them if you are looking at using them to put in your pool.

We recently had the vinyl liner replaced by Eastgate Pools in our 16X32-foot in-ground pool. In spite of all the spring rain, the crew was able to get it installed in just a couple of hours. I personally installed the old liner 16-years ago, so I know what is involved in doing the job. Mike was the crew leader, and you will not find a nicer, more knowledgeable and professional guy! Beautiful work…and our pool is new again. Highest recommendation! AAAAA+++++

If you get a pool there is no doubt Eastgate Pools & Spa is a excellence establishment to purchase a pool. We bought an above ground 24ft pool. We heard about Eastgate Pools from a coworker and started going there about 3 years ago. We LOVE the customer service at Eastgate Pools - the employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. When you have a question they take the time to listen and understand your situation and then make recommendations - they always seem to have more than one solution so that we can choose the one that we feel will work best for us. They have gone above and beyond expectations and we are thankful for having such a great resource! And their adorable cat Dos makes trips to the pool store even better!

We bought our pool here a few years back and love that we can come here and test our water whenever we need to at no cost.. Everyone is ALWAYS courteous and very friendly.. They are always willing to help with any questions or concerns we may have... Love that we know we have a place to go for answers if we need to... They all are very knowledgeable... I always feel confident when I go to Eastgate Pools to have my water tested. I trust them and they are great in telling me exactly what I might to buy to get the pool water balanced. Sometimes everything is fine and I don't need to purchase anything. Whenever I have any questions about the sand filter or some other maintenance, they always explain and give me detailed instructions. The staff are all great and helpful!
