I purchased 3 slabs of white (quintessense) quartzite: The material retains humidity (it appears to be an industry known problem) and Marble of the World is trying to peddle this defective product to its customers! I would highly recommend you find another company to purchase your stone from! UPDATE: They sent some individual to my home who claimed to be a manager, he wasn't. I was forced to have my entire kitchen redone - very deceptive company, go elsewhere!

Stone selection - good. Everything else - extremely unprofessional. From the sales reps not paying any attention to you to not showing up to appointments when you have paid for the slabs and came to select the pieces. DO schedule the appointment, otherwise they will not move a muscle to show you slabs. And when you do schedule - prepare to wait and wait and wait past the scheduled time for them to move the slabs. Also, they will have trouble pulling up your order every time (I've been 3 times already).

Great variety of slabs, customer service definitely needs immediate correction. First time visitor and probably last at this location. The employees just glared as we walk through the showroom, no greeting, no explanation. While my partner and I walked around the warehouse, which we located ourselves, here comes an employee 10 minutes after we've been there and the first thing that was said to us "Are you lost?" In what shape or form is that appropriate to say to a potential buyer?
I can guarantee being persons of color had a bit play into it as there is no diversity in their staff. We have multiple projects that we need countertops for, highly doubt I would send our clients here to be mistreated.

Howard Dudley was fantastic to work with! His knowledge of the products is excellent! Howard has a great personality and was fun to work with! He listened to our wants and needs and guided us as we made our decisions. He gave great suggestions when we were unsure of what we wanted. We are so excited for our new kitchen counter and backsplash!

Marble of the World has a beautiful showroom with a large selection of beautiful materials at various price points. My husband and I were specifically looking for countertop material. We were greeted warmly and helped immediately by a knowledgeable salesman, Howard Dudley. Everyone was very friendly and efficient - even the gentleman who moved the tiles so we could see our three slabs chosen. I highly recommend them!

First of all, Jose is hands down the most excellent sales representative I have ever worked with - Seriously, I mean ever. From the moment Jose met my Fiance and I he was attentive to every detail and made fantastic suggestions. We chose three gorgeous quartzite slabs (they have SO many choices) and ended up needing a fourth and Jose was extremely responsive.
Both times he had my slabs shipped out to the fabricator so quick that it even surprised them! I recommend checking this place out because it is huge and the selection is enormous. Most importantly, if you decide to purchase, make sure you ask for Jose!

The moment you walk through the front doors, you know this is how it's supposed to be. A warm and charming greeting. A simple check-in procedure and a small snacking counter. Just help yourself to a myriad of treats. We were so fortunate to have Michelle assigned to work with us. Within 5 minutes we felt like she was an old friend.

We were looking for a stone we wanted for 3-4 months and went all over South Florida looking for it and finally we found it in Fort Lauderdale Marble of the World! The sales person was extremely knowledgable, he was able to understand what we were looking for and it didn't take long to show us exactly what we needed!

This place is amazing. If you can't find marble or granite (they do have other things beside marble) here you'll never find what you're looking for. Welcoming showroom with a popcorn machine, freshly baked cookies, and a cappacino machine for customers. The warehouse is full of amazing marble and granite slabs from all over the world. The salespeople are very nice and helpful.
