A To Zoff

I had a housefire in 2005. A to Zoff installed my new furnace. I have never met such honest and helpful people! They even helped me find a plumber! They go out of their way every time. Always on time and REASONABLE too!

Had new furnace and a/c installed recently. They sent three guys out so they could get it all done in one day. They had it done in around 4 hours. My furnace went out over night, and it was freezing outside! I called the next morning when they opened, and they got me an appointment before noon that same day. The tech was professional, nice, and got the furnace running again and our home nice and warm! I'd never use anyone else!

We were overdue for a complete HVAC installation. Both AC and furnace were old and were starting to fail. We wanted to use A to Zoff because we've used them numerous times in the past and loved their service, and trusted them. We wanted to go with a Carrier dealer because we heard so many good things about that brand. A to Zoff was great about explaining everything, and our Installation servicemen were perfect.

They're experts, friendly and kind. They had to work in a tight space around our laundry room and that was okay with them. Our new Carrier furnace, Aprilaire humidifier, and outside AC condenser are very nice. We look forward to having them back for regular check ups and maintenance.

I called them out to investigate an odor. They found nothing, but charged me $250. The odor ended up being my hot water tank. Im not sure if A to Zoff does hot water tanks or not (being that most furnace places do.) but im pretty disappointed that they did not find the source of the smell, and even more disappointed that they charged me $250 for literally nothing.

Nice enough to come out on a Sunday for a broken furnace and they followed that up by trying to rob me blind. Total proposed bill for diagnostic and repairs was more than $1000. I found the OEM parts online for $130 and did the repair myself in less than an hour, and I could have purchased equivalent parts for as little as $80. This company clearly tried to take advantage of what they thought was a stupid old senior citizen. Stay away from these thieves.

Excellent job replacing my 20-year-old Comfortmaker furnace and AC with a HE Carrier 2-stage Furnace and Carrier AC. What a difference! I would not hesitate to recommend A to Zoff for all your heating and cooling needs. They don't try to sell you on unnecessary bells and whistles like another large (will remain unnamed) Carrier dealer I had out did.

Talk about family owned and operated. I had future leadership of the company taking part in the installation process and he displayed pride in work and was accommodating to my thermostat needs. Everything works great!

A to Zoff installed new a 92% efficiency Payne (Carrier) gas furnace and a central air conditioner, moved the furnace location into the basement from the first floor and modified ductwork, gas line and wiring accordingly. They added condensate drain and side furnace vent. It was an excellent overall experience, and I was very pleased.

Our furnace is installed in a closet which made the work more difficult than most installations. All of the ductwork in the closet had to be redone to accommodate the new furnace. The sheet metal work was top notch. We also had to have a condensate pump installed for our new condensing furnace, which required running a new drain line above an existing ceiling.

Over the past few years, they have installed both a new furnace and a new central air unit for me. Both times they were professional, friendly, and courteous. They worked efficiently and when they were finished their clean up was so good you couldn't even tell they were ever there.

A to Zoff is a small family business that has been here for over 45 years. My husband and I wanted a well-established company for the work in the home we had built. I have heard stories of fly-by-night companies that are not there when there is a problem. They installed our heat and central air 11 years ago and we have had no problems with the system. Also, our monthly bills are very reasonable.

They were a huge help in advising us as to which system to install. Most builders use the cheapest furnace and AC units they can find which lead to a much higher bill for the home's buyer. We chose A to Zoff based on recommendations of several of our friends. We were very impressed by both their service and product. The servicemen are polite and look normal.

The office staff is happy to answer any questions you might have, The work was done in a timely manner. Once a year we have a maintenance check up done as this was recommended to keep everything in tip-top shape.

I called the company and they told me that they can not service apartment buildings. Very inconvenient. They lost the business to another company.
