Greg Bolt started out working with his father, George Bolt, as a roofing and construction apprentice for over ten years. Greg founded Bolt Roofing in 1969 and over the next 34 years, he built a great reputation with his community for providing high quality roofing services in Rapid City and surrounding areas.As a roofing contractor, Greg did everything from putting reliable roofs on people's homes to supplying the local lumber yards and the Black Hills area with his tapersawn shakes. In 2003, Greg retired and passed down the wealth of roofing knowledge to his son Grant. Grant Bolt now carries on the family business and works hard to uphold the reputation that his grandfather and father created over 43 years ago.

They did our roof and siding a little over two years ago. Siding coming off. Have had it looked over by other companies and they said the same thing. It was a horrible job. Didn't even cut siding around window s and seal. Plus their worker insisted we pay $3500 hundred dollars of the bill Off in cash explain that he came over a picked up. made him sign on bill he received the cash

We went with Bolt Roofing because my brother had worked with them in the past. They were out here as soon as the insurance company sent the money. They did a great job on the roof. The gutter guys came later and they did a great job as well. We've had problems with our gutters draining right for years but the issue was taken care of them. I would recommend them for anyone needing roof repair from hail.

So impressed with theses guys! They showed up promptly, explained everything in length and gave us a portfolio with information, scheduled our entire roof and shed to be repaired within a week and answered my emails promptly! The crew came at 7:00 am and worked until 4:00 pm and had everything done and cleaned up afterwards! I literally didn't even see one nail on the ground. They were friendly and respectful and the roofs on our house and shed look great. Thank you for everything and I will drop your name to people I know!

I only wish I had read more reviews. 14 days from the start of installing my roof and it isn't finished. Update: Now 19 days from the start of this roofing job. Crew showed up to finish and you guessed it AGAIN they did not have enough materials to finish my roof! A company that claims to have been in business for 43 years. And can not order enough materials to do a simple 35 x 50 foot 4/12 pitch roof! 43 years and cant pull this off! Not once but twice short of materials! The one star rating I gave is far too generous for this company!

These guys did my roof last week. Not only was the communication amazing. They were in and out in one day on my 4 bedroom 2700 sq ft home. They met with my insurance company to insure everything went smoothly because I run 3 businesses and have very little time. Left zero mess and my roof looks amazing.

Bolt replaced our roof after a hail storm. Several months later we had a leak. Within 2 days Josh and Aiden came out to make the repairs. They worked efficiently and were very professional. Julie followed up to make sure the work was done to our satisfaction. I cannot say enough nice things about Bolt and will most definitely recommend them whenever the opportunity presents itself.
