Best Plumbing

I used "best plumbing " on the 6/6/2022, for turning water off/on, I have my own plumber to do the actual work when water was off. Background: "Best plumbing " is the only company has contract with our community, who has the right to turn off/on the water. So residents have to ask "best plumbing" for the water shutoff. The shutting down water rate is $175 for the 1st hour, and $110 for any additional hours.

I scheduled with "best plumbing " for 6/6/2022 @10am, I hired my plumber start at 10am as well. When it was 10am, no one showed up, I called and was told a guy would come 30 minutes later. Finally, a truck with "best plumbing " logo showed up, a guy came out at exactly 10:45am, (he said he is not a plumber, just to turn off/on water. ) He started to turn off water at 10:52, let water run out then we started our job, it took us about 30 minutes to replace two valves, I told him to turn water back on at 11:42, we confirmed that everything was good, he is done at 10:50.

Then we drove out, after we came back in 30 minutes, the "best plumbing " guy was still sitting in his truck on site. I called "best plumbing " multiple times to confirm the charge is one hour, but today I was told : based on gps location tracking, the time was two hours, and because of the 45 minutes delay, I got one hour discount, so it is still one hour charge.

It is not two hours, I know this scam, so I recorded my time, set up timer, it is one hour! Because of the delay, I had to pay my plumber one extra hour. I spoke to slade, one "best plumbing " manager on the phone, the rudest conversation ever, he said - he doesn't care how much I pay extra to my plumber due to his delay - the time should include the driving time to the site - he doesn't care if I file complaint or google review, he doesn't care for anything, except the money. Beware, stay away from it, it is scam, it is shady, it is cloudy, it is a shame for doing business like this

I've had mixed experiences with Best a Plumbing depending on the service person. However, I will say that when issues are brought to the company's attention, they are quick to resolve it. Regarding the work performed, I will say I've never been anything but completely satisfied. At this point, I will continue to use them as well as recommend the company to others in need of services.

I was driving along the I-10 West feeder at Mercury. I accessed the on ramp. Then I noticed a white truck moving up behind me at a high rate of speed and switching from side to side trying to pass me on the ramp. It is a single lane. He began flashing his lights and blowing his horn at me. I maintained the appropriate speed as I entered the highway.

He passed me at a high speed, but not without an angry glance. In a time when Road Rage is out of control this is unexceptionable behavior from anyone. Least of all a professional with the company logo right on the vehicle. I would never call this company, because I would be fearful that this driver would show up at my residence.

I feel I was deceived by them. When I called to ask for service I was told it would be $150.00/hour plus $50 for some machine they would bring. The guy came two hours later and did not stay even 10 minutes using the snake to unclog under the sink. That was it. I get a call today and say it was a total of $280 dollars! because they also charged me for the travel time. something they NEVER mentioned. So, basically they charged me like 80 dollars for "travel time".

Where did he come from? Lubbock? Dallas? unbelievable. I would give them zero stars and will make sure I do not recommend them ever. This is gouging at its worst. Be careful.

Service greatly varies, depending on which plumber they send. I had two bathroom faucets and a kitchen faucet to install. The first plumber they sent was able to install the kitchen faucet and one of the bathroom faucets in a little over an hour. The faucets did need a little tightening after he was "finished", but he returned and tightened then quickly.

The last bathroom faucet required the building water main being shut down, so they returned a day later with a different plumber who proceeded to take nearly 4 hours to install a single bathroom faucet. Four times as long to do half of the work that the previous plumber did, at four times the charge.

I used them first they were adrupt and professionally fixed sevarage leakage inside my bathroom They work good and professional. Services: Sewer repair, Garbage disposal installation, Outdoor plumbing system repair, Water heater installation, Drain cleaning, Toilet installation

I had them unclog a drain for me and their worker was very unprofessional. He got so mad to the point he was almost yelling at me for trying to unclog the drain myself with store bought drain-o. Then he proceeded to lecture me about how he wasn't going to put his hands in it which he didn't even have to do to the fix the clog in the first place. To top it all off they charged over $300 So moral of the story is if you don't feel like being scolded and don't want to over pay Don't Use Best Plumbing

I've used Best Plumbing for years they're amazing. But after the freeze I had a leak from a well to a lake that is used for irrigation and they had over 200 pending work orders but Justin and his crew worked on a weekend for an HOA I manage to get a major leak down 4 to 6 feet repaired and saved us hundreds if dollars in water waste! They had to hand dig 4 to 6 feet down in pouring rain and that's somewhat dangerous. I don't trust any other company.

Eddie is a very dedicated plumber. He stayed on the job through the night to ensure the job was completed successfully. Tyler and Micah also stayed throughout the night to assist Eddie in a job very well done! Thank you gentlemen!

Would give them less than 1 star if possible. Plumber himself was nice and finished in less than 1hr, however pricing was discussed prior to his dispatch and what do you know an additional mystery charge was tacked on for $50 that was not previously discussed. Would not recommend to friends or family. If you are going to discuss pricing prior to scheduling the work PLEASE include the entirety of said pricing so that I am not shocked to learn that I not only have to pay his travel & man hour rate but ALSO have to pay for him to use his own tools as well. DECEPTIVE.

This company does a lot of work in our HOA. The plumber arrived over an hour after scheduled appt. He gave me an estimate of $400. The bill turned out to be almost $600. There is a $50 "travel charge" which was never mentioned. Also he said the cost of materials would be "negligible" but it was almost $230. He also denigrated another company while he was here.

When I called the company they were not at all helpful. I resent having to pay someone $100/hr for their drive time, especially as it was not mentioned. Labor time should be charged only for the time taken to do the job.not for driving or figuring out the bill.

Dishonest and unprofessional company I used to replace one old galvanized valve in guest bathroom. Estimate for that work was about $250 - 300 when I called for service. (including charge for driving and visit). I requested tech to call me when he arrives to my condominium and give me exact price, and that was $375. I received a call day after from their office for authorization for charge $475.

They could not explain almost double charge from original estimate except that was "ballpark" price. I checked with concierge record at front desk and building engineer who escorted tech to my condo, work was done in less than one hour and did not require any additional, unexpected interventions. No invoice was left or emailed to me. I generally have bad experience with plumbing companies except one plumber who did full plumbing renovation of my condo when i moved in, unfortunately he moved out of Houston.

This was most extreme one since they asked for card authorization before visit, falsified time used for service and almost doubled the price without rational explanation for it. I will file complaint or at least report this to Better Business Bureau, that is the least I can do. Of course, will make sure this company's name is taken off preferred plumbing service list at St. Clair.

I wanted to tip Jack and his apprentice for their good work, they wouldn't accept the money ("we get paid just fine, but thanks", they said). If we have a future plumbing problem, we are for sure going to call Best Plumbing first. It is a commercial plumbing outfit, but they operate in multi-family complexes like ours.

They don't even deserve half a star! Seriously people, I know what I'm telling you. I've been forced to use their services by the HOA at my complex time and again. From the woman who answers the phone, to the manager: at "Best Plumbing" they all treat you as if they are doing you a favor... AND they are expensive, the worst costumer service! Worst part was after spending 400 dollars on their services to fix a leaking pipe, they didn't fix it and the pipe kept leaking.

Now the wood is rotting and I have to bring another plumbing company and a restoration company. When the restoration company called them to know what they did or how come they couldn't fix it, the manager said they didn't have anything to do with it! OUTRAGEOUS!! I have the invoice from them! Of course they had something to do with it! Besides, if you hire them they'll show up "won't be able to fix it" and then come back three more times to charge you more. Even if it's a clogged toilet, they act as if everything's so complex and they have to come back. Believe me, the do more harm than good.

Here it is 7 pm and still no water. I left my home cause I need to use the bathroom, and also to see what was taking this guys sooo long to get the water back on. And to my dismay they were downstairs drinking beer.

Maybe you shouldn't hire alcoholics to fix our water and maybe hire someone that comes in a does the job correctly the first time. I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone. Especially if they're gonna have lazy people on the job.

They deserve no stars. The management co sent these people out because they thought there was a common unit pipe that broke was in fact my pipe. This dude comes into my unit and struggles to get into the attic where the plumbing was and struggled to find the leak. I went downstairs to knock where it was coming from to help him. He came down turned off the water heater and left.

To my surprise I received a bill (because it wasn't common unit plumbing) from this trash company for 1.5 hours. 1.5 hours. The man was in my unit for 20 to 30 mins. Called and talked to this man who was like, we have trackers on our cars.he was there for 1 hour. He called me from the gate at 12:06 AM. He left according to my video cameras at 12:38 PM. Also, the plumber that was here said it was $95 per hour.

They billed me for more than 2 hours. I didn't argue with him because I knew that I had the right to complain to the attorney general, BBB and the plumbing board. I will submit video footage and call logs to prove that these people are thieves. This plumber that came out was like, 400 pounds. I was praying that he didn't break a beam or fall through my roof. If you ever have to call a plumber, steer clear of this company. Clear!

A dis-honest company, I would not recommend. They fixed a leak in my apartment and I paid their invoice of $276 for labor and parts after the job was finished. A few weeks later I received another bill they had sent to the association for $135 for the same job. I called and the woman who answered told me that she would look into it and call me back.

She never called and when I called back after several weeks she said that she did not have time to look into it and was fairly rude and hung up. I ended up paying that charge.

Wonderful! They are always there when I need them and are very reasonably priced. They find issues when no one else can!

Wonderful company, wonderful people! They give you great deals and help you! They are on call 24/7 and always have someone to help you. I would give them 10 stars if I could!
