General Plumbing opened their doors October 1982 at the corner of Sunset Drive and SW 117 Ave, even before the TJ Maxx Plaza was built. The business is family owned by Jim and Monica Kleb. The retail store sold repair parts and new fixtures and offered installations. We expanded shortly after with a large showroom. Presently, General Plumbing has a warehouse east of Tamiami Airport. Although we no longer have a showroom, we are still a complete service company offering all types of plumbing services.

Had a tough time finding an emergency plumber to handle this mess immediately as it is St. Patty's day AND a sunday night. Jim arrived withing 45 minutes of my phone call - identified the issue - and went to work quick. Within 20 minutes all toilets and tubs were draining normally and the sewage catastrophe receded. Jim's got a lifetime of experience in the plumbing industry and really helped me out in a pinch. Definitely recommend this company for emergency plumbing.
