Central Heating Consultants Inc. (CHC) was chartered in 1955 under the state laws of by Paul Hunt, a World War II veteran and engineer along with Robert Camp, a Korean War veteran and business graduate. Camp and Hunt secured the General Electric Air Conditioning franchise in 1955 and CHC was the exclusive GE dealer for over 30 years, at which time the Trane Company acquired General Electric Air Conditioning.CHC at the time of the merger was the oldest GE dealer in the state. CHC, the oldest and finest heating and air conditioning company in the area, has been under the direct management and ownership of Tim Hunt, Paul Hunt's son, since 1992.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. The help desk person on the phone was extremely polite and helpful. They had someone out the same day, but said it would be late in the day. He seemed genuinely concerned that I understood and set the expectation well. The technician arrived on time. He called when he was five minutes out. I also received a text message with his name and photo. He quickly identified the problem and we paid a standard, fair price for the repair. Can't say enough good things. I've found my HVAC folks in Tallahassee.

We contacted Danny with Central Heating Consultants to get an estimate of repairs for our AC unit. We had a completed estimate by the end of the day. Then it came time for the installation - Scott and his crew were polite and knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. They had us up and running by the end of the day. From Tim, the owner, to the installation crew, we had a great experience - we will definitely use them in the future.

We had new HVAC system installed by Central Heating Consultants about 7 years ago and they did a great job and we're fairly quick considering they were installing two systems. Overall, this was a great experience. However, we have not had a great experience with our maintenance contract. We signed up (and paid) for 2 visits per year and they never reached out to us to schedule the second appointment.
I called twice and sent a message through their website but never received a response. **Edit**: They called me first thing Monday morning after I posted this and were able to schedule my second visit for the following day.
