Every two years or so, tiny ants make their way into our kitchen to try to take over. I ectried to take care of it myself, but the problem just kept getting worse and worse. This is the third time I've used Ohio Exterminating and I will keep returning to do business with them if I have any kind of pests. Their intake staff are always professional and the techs that they send out have always been on time, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely thorough. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We had several piles of sawdust behind a bookcase. Jim from Ohio exterminating came to our office and informed us they were regular ants that had moved sand around and weren't digging into the foundation. The two men who came were professional and patient. I felt the main guy was informative and excellent. Both were kind and helpful. However, I wish this business or their employer would text as a notification in addition to calling. The range was from 12-5 pm. That's too long for someone to wait around and then I was called and told someone would be at my home in 10-15 minutes when I was originally told that I would be given a 30 minute notification call. So, the scheduling can be upgraded.

A reminder email or an email confirmation about the scheduled appointment would be helpful as well which I never received. I kept calling to ensure I had the date and time correct on when I was receiving my service; which can be inconvenient. But, overall, the individuals who did the service were 4 stars. Face mask could be worn when workers come into a home and feet coverings due to their shoes and all of the different environments they walk into given their occupation. Especially, if home owners have on mask.

It's to protect workers and clients. Some homes aren't clean and you never know the type of COVID, bacterial, or sickness that is around. This is for only if someone is working outside in the yard and then has to come into an indoor environment.

On August 27,2021 I was in my car sitting at the traffic light at 5th and McKinley Ave. A Kia Soul owned by Ohio Extermination rant ito the back of me. No one was hurt and in the damage to the Soul was none and the damage to my car was just rear painted bumper scratched. The young man driving the Soul said he had just gotten a cellphone call from his boss and was answering when he ran into me.

The Police at that time due to Covid and being short staffed we're not answering non personnel injury accidents and where their was little damage to the vehicles. They said let the Insurance companies sort it out. I took pics of the damage and of the Souls insurance card that was in the Company Vehicle. Filed thru my insurance company and paid the deductible to have my car repaired.

When my insurance company went to recover my deductible fro their insurance company (Erie insurance) Ohio Extermination claimed to know nothing about this and it never happened. Despite having the Pics. To prove it. In my opinion this shows what type of Company You would be dealing with. Totally deceitful and willingness to outright lie. Just thought you should know ahead of time before you do business with them.

I was very happy with their honest and thorough termite inspection. It was a second opinion after another company told us we had a major termite problem. That ended up not being the case.

I gave four stars instead of five only because there is another treatment to be done. Jim was easy to work with, very responsive and coordinated with my tenant so that I did not need to get involved. Easy payment over the phone. They appear to have done a thorough job, but the true test will be time. I will talk with the tenant in a month or so to see if there are any roaches remaining and report back. If no roaches in a month, I will give five stars

So far so good. Our experience was positive although there was a miscommunication on exactly what needed to be treated. We understand that most customers would prefer to napalm their entire property to kill everything, but we only wanted a particular area to be treated as we try to maintain a healthy wildlife habitat in our backyard. Its also interesting that you have to purchase a "package" of treatments but that is what the options were.

We have had multiple good experiences with this company. Unfortunately, that does mean we've had our fair share of insect issues! They initially assisted us with a wasp nest removal, and then later with carpenter bees who were burrowing into part of the exterior of the house. Most recently, we had a dreaded termite sighting so they came out to install the necessary treatment for those around the exterior of the house. It's been a couple of weeks, and it seems to be going well.

The termites originally flocked after the big rains we've had off and on this spring, and despite the amount of rain we had over the course of the last week, we haven't seen a large gathering of them, so we're quite hopeful this will do the trick. The exterminators have shown up in the quoted times and are fast, friendly, and efficient at handling the removal or treatment.

On this most recent visit, the exterminator put on both a mask and shoe covers when entering to complete the interior treatment, which was appreciated. While it would be nice if we didn't have to call them again (no more troublesome bugs - one can hope, right?!), it's nice to know who to call if we need the service!

I had this company treat for roaches and was still seeing bugs after almost 3 weeks. When I called to see what they could do to resolve, they wanted to charge me another $90 to come out again, though their website boasts a 60 day guarantee. The inspector and technician were polite and knowledgeable, but customer service severely lacking. Really disappointed and will not use again.

Ohio exterminating Co has been out three times over the years. I recommend only this company to anyone needing inspections and/or treatments. I found the salesman/inspector to be honest and smart.

I found this place through google, I've had a wasp nest and carpenter bees issue in my fence. I called them on a Monday, they came the same week Thursday, and sprayed and took care of the wasps, and their nests. Also, I initially called for an outdoor treatment, but soon realized that it wouldn't hurt to have indoor done too since I tend to see a few random bugs in the basement, when I called them back they suggested instead of two separate treatments, I could sign up for their 1 year contract where they drop by every quarter to spray indoor and outdoor and take care of any specific bugs too.

I have brought bed bug products from them but I never had them come out and do treatments. However I wanted an inspection done for a possible treatment. I called for an appointment and they scheduled me for one. Well no one ever showed up and I waited and waited. Afterward I did come to their shop to buy a product to help me for prep work because my mother in law had called another well known company for the treatment since no one showed up.

When I went to purchase that product for prep work I informed the people in the office that I had an appointment but no one showed up. The office lady then had told me that the person that scheduled me did not write it down in their log for my appointment while we were on the phone so the no show was due to office miscommunication on their part. However the products I purchased has somewhat controlled the horrid bed bug issue in my home but they did not completely eradicate those things so I am still dealing with the infestation.

We contacted Ohio exterminating company regarding a bug issue we were having this summer. Jim Witt came out to our home and identified our problem. He was professional, honest and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company and Jim. I hope we don't have any future bug issues but if we do Ohio Exterminating Co. will be the only ones we call.

I called them because they said they could help get rid of mice. All they did is bring and place mouse bait stations that sell on Amazon for about $17 for a large pack. These devices contain poison and can kill mice, but do not trap them, so they can die in mysterious places in your home (e.g. in your walls). The bait stations could not even be placed in the majority of places we have issues because we have a dog. I was charged $202 for something I would not have paid $17 for (there are much better traps). I would not use this company for rodent removal.

I had a great customer service experience with them. I spoke with Hillary and they were able to respond the next day to inspect my home. Jim arrived when I was told to expect some one. He assessed the issue and my problem is being taken care of. Did what they said they would and were easy to work with.

My husband setup an appointment with this company last week to remove a yellow jacket nest in our yard. The woman gave him the date and said the tech would be here between 6am and 8am. My husband works 12 hour night shifts and doesn't get home until after 7 am. I got up and waited for the company at 6am before I started work. My husband got home and continued to wait.

Finally he called them only to discover that the woman didn't actually setup the appointment she gave him let alone ANY appointment at all. My husband worked all night then waited for a company that can't even set appointments correctly. They didn't even apologize for the error. They attempted to setup a new appointment, which we declined. I'm sorry. We'll pay more to have someone come out instead of taking a chance they don't manage to set it up again.

I remember my parents using this company when I was a kid, whenever the ants bothered my mom. Now, as an adult, I use this company and they have never let me down. Carpenter ants were found during our home renovation and Ohio Exterminating quickly came out and resolved the issue in a timely manner, for a fair price. Even my carpenter was pleased with their response. By the way they are going, I wouldn't doubt that my son has the pleasure of using them when he grows up. Very pleased and highly recommend.

We signed up for the bi-monthly service they offer & was never told us that we had to call them to set up service dates. Normally companies call you to set these up. We were still charged for services never received. Why is it so hard to find a good exterminating company here in Columbus?

I have used Ohio Exterminating for a year. 3 unit apartment building. Had them out about once a month no changes in the infestation. I admit 2 of the units had lazy dirty tenants, but still nothing changes for the amount of money and for Ohio Exterminating coming out for about a year.

Our apartment is with Casto (Vistas on Rocky Fork). I've lived here since 2012. Never had bed bugs till now. We found bed bugs and contacted Vista IMMEDIATELY. Vista Apts called Ohio Extermination.

Needed treatment for bed bugs, landlord changed from a company that uses heat treatment to a cheaper pesticide spraying method. So far 2 treatments have occurred, both being ineffective in removing the bed bugs.

Ohio Exterminating is the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. They refuse to do follow up treatments because they swear by their product; however, the day we were treated, we still had bed bugs.

I used Ohio Exterminating recently and had a pleasant experience. They came to treat for mice in the basement and while they were out they discovered evidence of termites. They were not pushy at all to sell me on something.
