Would not recommend. They charged us 289.99 for just coming over too see our garage. The service technicians said that they would refund us as they didn't do anything. When we called the office they said they couldn't do that because they also needed to pay their guys. After waiting over a week to these guys to come and charge us a ridiculous service fee, we decided to call another company, not only did they charge us 59.99 for the service fee but they also garenteed their work for 10 years and they came the next day.
I would recommend people to also check out Yelp, wish I had, as the Google reviews seemed pretty good. Edit: Thank you for reaching out and I'm glad that this matter has been resolved. I have edited my stars from 1 to 4 for the professionalim, since I didn't have actual work done with you guys I can't give you the full 5 stars.

We are grateful to have had an advocate helping us get a "Pandemic era" garage door from Performance! They went the extra mile for us updating us which freight car our door was sitting in with the shipping crisis in America. As soon as they got it, they expertly installed it and came back to install an added pin pad. Thank you so very much!

This company has been the absolute bane of my existence for the last month. They are unorganized and straight up lie. On the 14th, I close and am given the keys to my new construction home. On the 25th, I receive a call from Olivia Performance Building Products explaining to me that my garage door was not installed fully and that they need to come out ASAP.
I am advised NOT to use my garage door anymore, though I've been using it for the last 11 days. When I ask Olivia to explain what went wrong with my door so I am fully aware of the situation, she rudely cuts me off and transfers me to another department with no word or explanation. I am not available the week of the 25th as I am actively moving, so we set a date for June 2nd, today.
I receive a call from a tech at 8:50 saying he should arrive in 20 minutes. Great. I go walk the dog for 10 minutes while my wife waits at home. I am home before their estimated arrival time. An hour passes. No one shows up. I call the technician and after the 5th time he picks up and says "no one answered the door". Which is simply impossible as neither my wife nor myself heard anyone at the door.
When the tech finally arrives, he calls saying he rang the doorbell and no on answers. I come down to let him in and test the doorbell and it works perfectly fine so not sure what's going on there. The tech comes in and says the part that was missing, is in fact installed. I'm just so confused as to how this company is run. They will surely reply to this email saying this "isn't normal and they pride themselves on quality service!" etc, but they've been a nightmare and I hope I never have to deal with them again after this.

The quote process was very professional and timely and helped me understand my options for two new garage doors and opener hardware. Clearly a better bid than going through big box stores, who in fact, subcontract the work, and add little value or discount on material. Installation was prompt and professional and a follow on service call for a minor adjustment was attended by Gage and Adrian who came out right away. I highly recommend Performance Building Products.

The spring on our garage door pulled out of the wall making my garage door stuck and me unable to get my car out of the garage. Performance was able to come out within 30 minutes and fix the problem. They were professional, and prompt. They fixed my garage so that this wouldn't happen again and left it better than it was before. I will highly recommend them to anyone.

Performance Building Products installed a motor on our garage door late 2015 / early 2016. Now in 2019 the motor attachment to the door has ripped off the door and left us with a broken top panel. When I contacted them to get it fixed, they told me that they now used a different attachment since they'd had a lot of issues with that one, but proceeded to give me a repair quote for $700 and told me that warranty was only 12 months.
The correspondence was polite but defensive, and I will not only prefer to go to someone else for the repair, but will be giving my business for two new garage doors to a different company, too. I have no reason to think that they will stand behind any of their products. I would not use them again.

We moved into our place over a year ago and have been trying to get our landlord to repair our garage door. Jeff and Gary were out at our neighbors looking at their door and jokingly we asked if they would fix our door. Immediately they both came over and readjusted a few things and WAHLA our garage door works now. They also programmed our remote for it as well. So thankful for them both.

I don't know how else to put it. This was one of the worst customer service experience of my life. This company installed my garage doors on my new construction home. I had some issues with my garage door not functioning properly and there was damage that needed to be repaired. When I called, immediately, Todd was extremely defensive and adversarial.
He kept saying that I couldn't prove that they were at fault and that he would not accept the responsibility. He basically insinuated that I was lying. Keep in mind, I just bought this new construction home 2 months ago. And my point was not even to blame them. I just needed it fixed. Finally, after making it clear that he would accept no fault, he said he would have his service dept contact me.
And that he wanted me to commit to getting it fixed and pay for it if they were going to come out to my house. I told him I needed to know the cost before making any such commitment. After hanging up the phone and I was so disturbed, I called a different garage door company (Larry Myers Garage Doors) and they said they could come out that day to take a look. The experience was so much better that I decided I'd rather pay a different company than work with Performance Building Products, even it was for free.

My garage door needed a damaged section replaced, so I called Performance Building Products since they'd installed it originally. Tony was very responsive and got a crew out quickly to assess the damage. It took a couple of weeks for the repair to be made, because the new panel had to be ordered and then the installation appointment had to be rescheduled due to unexpected short staff.
They did the installation and returned to check it when the door seemed to be closing with extra noise and vibration. Painting the panel was not part of the repair, and when I asked for guidance, Tony sent me detailed instructions from the manufacturer--helpful to my painter. This same company has repaired a couple of windows in my house under warranty, and I've been very satisfied with that service both times.

Stay as far away from this company as possible. I called them this past Tuesday to get service on several garage doors. The gal I spoke with, Stephanie, who was very pleasant, told me she would pass my request on to the Service Dept. and they would call me back. No phone call. So I called again of Wednesday, and again spoke to Stephanie. She again told me she would pass my contact information on to the Service Dept., and they would call.
No call. So I called again on Thursday, and asked to speak to management. Spoke with Tim (maybe was Tom?) and he told me that they were swamped with service calls, and short of service people, and could not get to me for 10-14 days. I asked why I was not told this on Tuesday. So, moving forward, this Manager told me the service call fee would be $289.00, and they could come out on March 1st or 2nd.
He had to approve this with his manager, and would call me back. No call. I have since found another service company (On Track) who will be here Tuesday, and will cost a third of what Performance Products would be. I will NEVER call this bull shit company again, and I hope that you don't either. I just may report them to the BBB.

We have had nothing but problems with this business. The garage door they installed years ago had issue after issue, which they handled grumpily each time and charged us inordinate amounts. Last week came the final straw: they installed a new lock and only gave us 2 keys--we have four adults at our residence who need access to the garage--and they cannot be copied ANYWHERE because no one carries the cut!
We called them and asked for help but we were treated like an enemy! We asked to talk with the supervisor; the president of the company contacted us that same day, and only wanted to berate us, would not listen to our issue, and accused us of not wanting to pay the balance! He even said that they would call a collection agency, and we never even said that; all we wanted was 2 more keys!
The "president"--his name is Kane--was abusive, argumentative, confrontational, and mean spirited. I could not believe that such poor customer service still exists in this day and age. But there you have it: I would not recommend this business to ANYONE!

Initially installed our expensive glass garage door and tracks, but a couple months later when the door began to open only half way, refused to guarantee their work and repair it at no cost (as the initial worker who came out said they would), unless we paid $350+ more. Ugh. Would not recommend them.
