I am not typically a person to leave a comment as I find them to be a bit ridiculous, but this company and their service is the absolute worst. I closed in a new build home and have had 7 visits from D&L over the course of 8 weeks because of their poor planning, lack of professionalism and scheduling efficiency, and horrible product service and repair.

As I am writing this comment the heat index is 85 degrees and it is 85 degrees in my brand new home. Every time I call they have a 4 day turn around on getting out to service their garbage product(s). I have a warranty through the builder on all products and service and still would consider paying out of pocket to get a new provider. I cannot stress enough how terrible this company is.

This company is about as sorry as it gets. We bought a brand new home in a new subdivision and were told by our contractor that we have a five year warranty with this company on the air conditioning and heating unit. Four years later and we are experiencing problems with the unit so I gave them a call and was told "sorry we are only honoring our first year customers because we are to busy" and was hung up on. So anyone who has bought a house with an air unit from this company BEWARE they wont honor their warranty and do not care about their customers.

Had to reschedule my service and they did it gladly. The technician was on time and absolutely polite and terrific. Highly recommend them.

The worst customer service ever. If I could give 0 stars I would. This company has been to my home 4 times and still has not fixed the problem. I called them again today and they gave me the run around and said it's out of warranty any way which was not a problem because even though they didn't fix the problem the first 4 times I was gonna pay them but the lack of care and lack of organization was ridiculous. Do not waste your time and money with these people!

I wish to commend your technician Jeremiah for a job well done. It took a few tries to get the furnace problem solved but he was persistent and stuck with it until he was confident the correct part was installed. He also went to extra lengths to make certain all areas both inside and outside the furnace were clean.

Seems this company doesn't care about customer. They were used as the contractor for the hvac unit in my new home that has been given me problems costing me lots of money in repairs as I have to use other hvac companies that are not familiar with their system. What's bad is they only service customers that are within 1 year warranty as in 1 year after closing date of your new home.

It seems like their hvac system is designed to work ok for just 1 year and then after that you're on your own. Not a fan of leaving bad reviews but all business should be held accountable and focus on providing good service to their customers.

If you expect excellent customer service, find another company with better reviews. I was a customer for 7 years, and they weren't even sorry to lose me. They will lose more money from no longer having me as a customer then they would have if they had just corrected the issue. If you live in Gwinnett county look at HVAC companies on the Best of Gwinnett website, so many other better options listed there.

Do not use this company! Their staff is very rude and unprofessional. A similar sentiment is expressed in most of the 1-2 star ratings on Google. I should have paid close attention to the negative reviews. They are not interested in maintaining any business unless its related to warranty services. My builder used them to install the AC units in my house and although my house was built brand new I continue to have issues with the unit since 2016.

My point of the lack of professionalism of this company's staff is even more evident by their rude response to my review. D&L Heating, For your information, the E&A Homes community I live in Smyrna is a community of homeowners only, so you obviously don't know what you are talking about when you say I don't own my home. I closed on Nov 15th 2016 and so look more closely in your records.

Stay away from this company at all cost! Our builder used them to install our air pump system in our basement. They can't seem to get the humidity issue resolved. They just told me to turn the AC down to resolve the issue. We had 3 different technicians arrive and the first arrived during the Covid lockdown and didn't even wear a mask. He was incompetent.he said everything was working find.

The unit was frozen and it took the second technician to find this out. The first technician noted something to indicate that it was our fault that the humidity was high. Save yourself the time and frustration and DO NOT USE THEM!

Recently purchased a home (6 years old) had an inspection completed and found the temp drop was not what it was suppose to be. Owners had D&L come out to inspect, maintain, clean and do any repair work. They wrote a report stating everything was working properly, cleaned units, temperature drop was freon levels was full Moved into the house and within 30 days had to have ac company come out as units were not cooling properly. When thay arrived units had not been cleaned and 2lbs of freon was needed in two units. Technicians name was Todd. I would NEVER recommend you use D&L for any HVAC services.

New Installation cold air coming from vents when system was off. D&L was out 4 times over a 2 months period and said nothing wrong with system. Called another HVAC Cochran Heating and air and within 15 minutes the technician found the blower unit wasn't properly sealed causing cold air to enter the system. Problem solved. Not recommend!

No issues with D&L. Rob was very helpful from the beginning to the end. Quote was quick and installation process of heat pump and air handler was smooth.

Awesome service from start to finish. Very professional! Had new system installed and the whole crew was so we'll mannered and efficient. They cleaned up behind themselves every step of the way. I would definitely recommend D&L to anyone. They Always are ready to help without question. Give them a call!

My old client used D&L; and, were pleased. So, I inquired about their services. They weren't able to take me on as a new customer immediately. Finally, they were. So glad that I kept on trying. Having our system checked spring and winter ensures both systems run optimally.

I normally don't write reviews but I really felt the need to write this one. I would definitely NOT recommend this company. The costumer service is horrible, they don't listen, they are rude and don't care to help. Since moving into my townhouse all I've had is problems with the air/heat and they have done nothing to help fix the problem! I would strongly think otherwise hiring them to do any work on your house. They have a 3 1/2 stars for a reason!

Just had Brad Webb with D&L come out and fix our ac leak. very nice person and did a great job. he was really good about showing us what the issue was and what needed to be done. highly recommend him to anyone

Terrible customer service. We've complained about a new unit making loud noise at start up since one day after we moved into our new construction home a year ago; it wakes us up when it comes on. They've been out no less than 6 times and again today and said there's nothing they can do. What a shame. We are tired of dealing with them and won't use them again after the year is up.

One of the owners came out to our property same day as the external units for our new construction were not kicking on. It was as simple as a reboot of the system and the system communication was restored. He stayed to explain our system, how it works, best practices, etc. He also informed us of our 10 year warranty plan by registering our product. We were very impressed with the level of professionalism that we received and the timeliness in which our service was restored.

I, unfortunately, was stuck with this company thanks to my wonderful (enter extreme sarcasm here) home developer hired this company to install my AC units. I've had problems along the way but this was the first time it actually shut down on me (mind you it's less than 2 years old). I called the company on a Saturday and left a message as instructed to do in an emergency.

I didn't hear anything Saturday or Sunday (lovely days outside but not when you don't have AC) and waited until Monday to call. I figured it was the weekend so I for sure should be able to get someone on Monday. I called today and my call was forwarded directly to voicemail again and I, again, left a message. Guess what? NO CALL! So much for an emergency!

I had to end up calling another AC company to come and look at my problem and they fixed it within 1-2 hours. I shouldn't have had to pay for it because it should've been covered with my warranty but I was in desperate need. Five days with no AC and 80+ in the house is not fun. I'm learning that a lot of companies hired by home developers are friends, relatives, or someone who apparently owes someone else a favor because the work done and customer service is deplorable.

I don't anticipate a call back at this point and I would recommend not even bothering and going to someone else. At least you'll be able to get someone else on the other line.

It looks like this company has a history of sales conflicts, seeing similar complaints. They quoted inclusive of a thermostat with humidity control but now arguing many months on how not to provide one.

I'm updating my review because someone did reach out to me and come fix the problem. I'm not changing much just because the issue was due to crappy install of the drain pipes. I eventually investigated this is my own and figured it had something to do with that because the water was accumulating in the pan. Took 5 days for someone to come out and took 20 minutes to fix it.
