I'm really disappointed that I went with Gonyea homes. There realitor tells you what you want to hear to get the sale. They have poor follow up once they get the sale and the home building process is started. I left multible messages for there VP to call me back with my concerns during the building process. He never called me back. There job site superintendents try to hide damage and poor workmanship during the process. I'm now having issues with there poor workmanship. Im sure this will be a challege to get them to stand behind there work. I would look for another builder inthe area.

The design experience was great! We apparently are rare because we got through design in 3 hours where some people take 16+ hours to do the same thing. I will say, for many of the upgrades we chose the price was very reasonable, especially for a luxury home builder! We can't wait to move in!

Built a home with them in the past year. Pre-build experience was great, and the construction process was top notch as well. Solid communication through the process, and any issues that popped up were discussed and dealt with quickly. Very happy with the experience and even happier with the end result.

Built with Gonyea this past year and could not be happier. They have great attention to detail and professionalism - we have had a few minor issues (like any construction project does) and their warranty department has responded quickly and fairly. The general contractor + subs were all super easy to work with and provided great quality work. Highly recommended if you're building a home!

Gonyea does not respect privacy! They sent strangers to my front door, as well as peeping through inside of the house. Video surviellances are located through exterior of the house. They stated that Gonyea sent them. This is not an isolated issue. Reminder this is private property! This is one of the many problems we encountered. I left a message with sales manager to address this issue to no avail.

We closed on the house less than two months ago. Thank God they have a warranty department. If you prefer to go with this builder, buy a model house. If you want custom build, consider going with another builder! Otherwise, as one reviewer mentioned, you will experience many Hiccups throughout the process! I can only say that prebuilding process was fantastic! Do your research dilligently if you care about craftmanship and quality!

*disclosure: I work for one of the contractors that build for Gonyea* They are let decent homes. Certainly MUCH better than a Cal-Atlantic or Pulte. You have an acceptable amount of options for customization and, at last as far as electrical goes, the crews that are building your home are the best available.

We built a new home with Gonyea 5 years ago, and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. The building project ran smoothly and on time, and the quality of design, workmanship and materials continue to delight us. I would build with them again in a heartbeat!

Gonyea homes builds an amazing home. I'm very pleased with the out come. There team of experts were so easy to work with. Everything from the start of design on. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Totally unscrupulous developer and builder. You can hope that nothing ever breaks or needs repair because Gonyea will deny any responsibility for it. Glad they didn't build my house and I only have to fight with them to fix things on property that impacts me indirectly. If they built my house, I wouldn't trust my roof not to cave in at any moment.

Garage seeps water to the point where my concrete block has been frozen over. Response from Gonyea has been, There is nothing else we can do I even got a second opinion pointing out the ease of fixing these problems and have been brushed off consistently.
