B&R replaced our roof, siding, soffit and fascia. All the work was completed on our required schedule, and we are very pleased with the final result. Throughout the installation they placed a strong emphasis on quality and diligently repaired all existing damage, replaced all flashing, etc. I am 100% confident that the new materials are installed properly and the house is now sealed and tight. Thank you B&R.

Buyer Beware! We ordered a front door & storm door, garage entry door, and sliding door for walkout. We were told it would be 90 days. What a joke. 6 months later with persistent calling they 'moved up' our installation. There was an issue with each door. The sliding door opened the wrong way which wouldn't work with existing window treatment. The storm door opened opposite from the front door.
The garage door wasn't self closing and the trim was the wrong color. Next more and more and more waiting for the correct sliding door and storm door and the other fixes. We sold the house 9 months after the order when the work still wasn't finished. We had to provide paperwork to potential buyers showing the work would get done, someday. The month we moved the work was finally complete - 11 months after the order! Insane.
They are good at pressuring you to buy. Making promises they can't keep. I tried to cancel after 6 months of waiting but you only have 3 days after ordering. Solution - go with another company. I decided to finally write a review because I cringe every time a commercial for them comes on. This was before COVID.

My wife and I chose Builders and Remodelers for replacing all our windows. The process was smooth, they stuck pretty well to their timeline, they cleaned up really well, and they addressed our minor concerns. They even came back based on the inspector's recommendation to add an additional barrier for water mitigation. The only wish I would have for them would be to be more communicative.
It would have been nice to hear where we were in the queue as there is a long lead time from order to install. Additionally, the installers should have called before they made their follow-up visits. They just showed up and luckily I'm working from home to let them in. It could have been a problem if I wasn't home.

Ordered siding for house. Took 7 weeks when material was ordered and arrived - installation started the following week. Finished job in 1 day. The crew was amazing. A few small discrepancies were all addressed and taken care of within 3 days. Many compliments from neighbors with the job they have done. Cleanup from job was great - this is the 2nd time I have used builders and remodelers. The first was for windows throughout the house. They address and handle any concerns you may have.

We love our new windows and patio doors. Can already tell a different with the triple pane glass keeping the heat out from the afternoon sun out. Installers were in time, courteous, professional and went over everything with us while they were installing and after. Very pleased with the experience and happy to have quality windows and patio sliding doors!

Installers were organized, efficient and very polite. They did a nice job with clean up at the end of the day. We did have a few issues. Interior kitchen window frame was not measured correctly and had to be sent back to the factory for RE-manufacture. This delayed final completion from the urinalysis 1 to 2 days to 2 weeks waiting for the frame and schedule to install.
We had one rear window the had a trim/ spray insulation issue which had to be cleaned up and corrected. This was done at the time the kitchen window interior frame was installed. We had 1 screen that was damaged and installed. The installers removed and took it for repair. Tim confirmed the repair of the screen is complete and will be installed on 6/28. Not a seamless problem free install, but Builders and Remodelers was responsive on every request/concern.

The sale and contract signing was quick and easy. We were in the starting stages of the COVID pandemic so we expected a slight delay in the 4-week quoted lead time for our deck. We did not receive any communication from the company without my having to call multiple times to get updates. Approx, 12 weeks later we got our deck installed. The installation crew was GREAT and our deck is BEAUTIFUL.
We have one piece of unfinished trim that needs to be fixed for it to be complete. We also purchased a new patio door and the communication issue was the same. But again, the installer was GREAT! When the old door was removed he found a small area of rotted wood in the framing, but cleaned it up and fixed it so there was no issue with the door install.
He was very friendly and worked quickly. So, the great installation crews made up for the lack of customer service from the operations team. The quality of the products are great and we would recommend them. TIP - Communication goes a long way to good customer service!

(Update): The new sales person came out and looked at the moisture and said it is the worst he's ever seen, working for Window World and now for Builders and Remodelers. He got the manufacturer involved and took pictures while he was here. He also thought that being able to stick a piece of paper under the window was weird and didn't seem right. The manufacturer came out took a look and said that was actually normal because it was designed to keep moisture off the real wood on the ledge.
He also said that because of how air tight our house was (they did all the wrapping and new siding) that the furnace was trying to get fresh air and so it was drawing it in from any weak spot in the house and because the windows are designed like that it would be considered a weak spot. I agree with the guy that our house is pretty air tight but I guess I'd want to look at other people's window's that have had bay windows installed by them to see if they can stick a piece of paper underneath.
That just doesn't seem right, especially when it's only in one location and not all the way around. (I don't review a company till I've had a product for a while so this will be long). We did a whole exterior remodel (windows, siding, shingles and the underlying sheathing) in 2013. We went through Builders and Remodelers because we won bids on Golden Gavel through the Star Tribune.
The sales rep at the time was very good at explaining everything and showing us what everything would look like and taking us to the showroom on a weekend to see what it all looked like. Everything was installed professionally and fairly quickly. In the winter of 2013 one of the windows got a cold crack and the company replaced it no cost. In the summer of 2018 we had a tree hit the house and they were able to replace the few shingles that were damaged and saved us a ton of money in not having to replace the whole roof again (because they still had the same color and style shingles).
That's the good that I can say. Our sales rep sold us on their windows because of the added foam around the edge for insulation, and they were having a triple pain for double pain pricing at the time. The savings in heating and cooling from our old windows we figured would be nice. However that has not been the case. These windows almost leak more than our previous ones, get more moisture on these super cold days, and as seen in the pictures I can slide a piece of paper a good 3 inches between the ledge and the window.
There's moisture at the corners of the bay window and under the cranks. We even had what we thought was mold the first winter and the company came out and told us it wasn't mold and that the moisture was due to not having the curtains open wide enough. My in-laws have Marvin Bay Windows that are bigger than our 6' and on these cold days they keep their shades and curtains closed and have no issue with moisture and the windows don't leak and you can't stick a piece of paper anywhere.
Our bedroom windows get just as much moisture even when the shades are open. Our house is kept at 68 degrees and roughly 45% humidity on the colder days. So to wrap up, the company has been very professional and were easy to work with, they worked with us to replace damaged shingles and a cracked window. However, their windows, leave something to be desired and at least for us were not better than the 40 year old windows that got replaced.

The installers did a great job with replacing my deck door. They were friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. The previous door wasn't insulated and was pieced together. I don't have the cold draft any longer and my kitchen is a lot warmer now that the new door has insulation! They showed me how to work all of the locks and features of the new door. They cleaned up the mess too!
