Express Floors To Go

Can't say enough good things about John, Sarkis, and the rest of the team at Express Floors To Go. We had a slab leak in our brand new home and the process seemed so daunting. John made picking a new floor easy and. FUN. We are so happy with the craftsmanship and the speed of getting the project done. I'm a pretty particular person and they worked with me to keep the house clean. Any issues that came up, John always handled with sympathy and grace. If you're looking for a flooring company, look no further!

John was a pleasure to work with very communicative, polite, professional and easy to work with. When it came to installing our floors there worker Edgar was polite, professional and a wonderful worker. If you're looking for floors in San Diego John was able to match our laminate existing with the new product and exactly what we needed and did an excellent job executing the project. I went to this store in 2 separate occasions. The first time I dealt with Russ and I think he's on drugs. He goes off in these tangents about how the flooring is made and goes completely off topic blah blah blah very mind numbing. Anyway they had some samples my girlfriend liked so we borrowed them, they have an amazing selection of flooring. My second trip was really just to return samples but this time I spoke with John.

He's the guy you want to deal with when you visit this store. There's no BS, he's clear in answering your questions and most importantly he made me feel good about the flooring I want to buy and when asked about the process he was straight to the point, unlike Russ almost scared me away from this flooring project. Anyway we move in to our new Condo in April and I will be coming back to John to get our flooring done. I'll update my review in regards to their installation when we cross that bridge. 5 Stars for John -1 Stars for Russ

Was going to give these guys a 1 star but John saved the day. Their manager is rude and is a annoying know it all. When you go ask for John he'll take care of you.

I ordered flooring and asked to make sure the order include all necessary materials. I was assured it did. Well- that was not the case at all- no mounding (edges) were ordered so now there is an additional $168 and a 2nd order. Ross, who was helping us, was incredibly unprofessional.

Update: April 2018: We finally decided to replace the last of the carpet in our house with laminate wood flooring. After getting a few estimates we decided to go with John at Express Floors. This time we had them install it for us and also new baseboards. John is very helpful, friendly and always answered our call/email right away. Sarkis & Alex did a great job with the installation and we are so happy with our new floors.

We highly recommend Express Floors To Go. We purchased Laminate flooring from Express Floors to Go in 2006. We installed the flooring and were very happy with the outcome. Last year we remodeled our kitchen and needed a new divider/transition piece for the new tile flooring we installed. We went back to Express Floors and they gave us a new 6 foot divider/transition piece at no charge. Great customer service! We will go there again when we replace our family room carpet.

Great initial welcoming committee! But, please do not fall into the initial hype! The manager was bouncing off the walls, ready to seal a deal immediately. Unfortunately, I fell into his trap. He ran around my house and made incorrect measurements, which annoyed the chain-smoking and cursing installation crew when they arrived. They had to order more material, and took over my home for over another week.

The chain smoking crew was curbed once I complained, so they smoked in a van, annoying more of my neighbors. This was my new home, where everything worked properly! After the job was done, there was a small leak in the dishwasher that blew the flooring up. I sent the manager pics of all the damage, and he AGREED to replace the damage, he took full responsibility for the leak.

The same evening, the installation team entered my residense w/o me answering the door and removed the flooring via a crowbar and black Hefty bag, under our same agreement with the manager. UN The NEXT day, I was presented with a bill for over $700 to repair the previous nights agreement. I repeatedly contacted Ross, to no avail. It is fantastic to be a manager, but not one that is afraid of his own employees.

I considered filing a lawsuit against the company, but decided to take $200 out of my wallet for flooring, and have an honest tradesman take care of a small 60 sq ft of repair. A manager should NEVER fear his employees.because I feared them, which is not right in my book. I put down my court filings and took a loss.
