Sean and his team were amazing. They were on time, commutative, tidy, and finished the work within the time frame they said they would. Top quality. I highly recommended McQuaid flooring for refinishing old original hardwood. The floors look brand new now!

Sean and his team leveled our floor, installed vinyl flooring and carpet throughout our house (~2300 square feet). We thoroughly enjoyed working with them, Sean helped guide us to pick the perfect products for our taste and budget (and number of animals!), worked quickly and effectively to get the job done, and communicated well the whole time. Would work with him and his team again in an instant.

This review is a long time in coming. Sean and his team put in beautiful flooring for us 5 years ago when we moved into our new home. They were so great to work with, went out of their way to help us when an unexpected problem came up, and they were efficient and fair. The biggest compliment I can give them? Their workmanship is remarkable. You just don't find companies like them anymore.

We literally get compliments on our floors every single time someone new comes to visit - without fail. We would use them again in a heartbeat. And five years later, we're still grateful we chose them!

McQuaid Flooring exceeded my expectations! I originally met Shaun McQuaid when he came to my home in PB to bid the installation of new flooring. I accepted his bid and scheduled the job to start two weeks later. My material was delayed by a week so the job started one week later, which was great since McQuaid had to rearrange their schedule to accommodate material I had purchased. Shaun went on vacation and his Dad Coner McQuaid supervised the job.

I was super impressed with the crew on my job who not only levelled and smoothed out the sub-floors, but laid over 800 square feet of floor in one day. Two days later they returned and put the baseboard in and the job was done in less than three days. Wow! I recommend these guys for any flooring job a person may need.

These guys are absolutely artists. They did what no one else could and made my Brazilian walnut come back to life and blended it with the rest of my stairs. Artists! They were also very reasonable and seemed to care about not doing more than needed to accomplish my goal. 6 stars if I could.

Sean and his crew were amazing from start to finish. My wife and I will be replacing more floors in the future and WILL be using McQuaid Flooring. If you choose not to use McQuaid Flooring it will be your loss. A+ service

What an OUTSTANDING experience from start to finish! Sean came out to give us a quote and he was the most professional, sincere and pleasant person I have had the pleasure to deal with. McQuaid Flooring is without a doubt one of the highest quality, professional and friendly companies I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with.and over the years I've dealt with dozens of contractors. For owners Sean and Colin, this is is more than "a job".they truly love wood as a material and take immense pride in the artistry of what they do.

In our case, we were re-doing our floors along with a major kitchen remodel, which meant a lot of coordination between McQuaid and other contractors as well as endless delays and complications (including our changing our mind about the wood selection.twice!). Throughout all of this, Sean was patient, helpful, communicative, thorough and efficient. Also, every team member who came out to the house for the different phases of the job was friendly and extremely competent, taking extra care to clean up when finished. Thanks to McQuaid, I have a breathtakingly gorgeous floor.

McQuaid Flooring was spectacular they came in as budgeted, they were finished in one week as promised and their workmanship was outstanding. But what really made them outstanding was they replaced all our baseboards. Note the picture of the front door, there is a heater intake, look at how they went around the side and bottom of the vent, great skill and workmanship.

You can also see how carefully they laid the first board so all the boards near fireplace, hallway and outer walls were at least one half board wide. That takes great skill and planning. I strongly recommend McQuaid Flooring, they do a total job.

Our flooring installation was above our expectations. From the initial meeting with Kevin the sales person we knew that this was a very reputable company. Kevin had some great suggestions and ideas. He was always on top of things through out the project. There cannot be enough said about the crew of Tony and Carlos. On time very professional and the craftsmanship is wonderful.

I will start by saying I do not pride in one-star reviews. Take a look at my profile. I have tried, seriously tried to work with McQuaid and agree with both the five star and the poor reviews. Unfortunately, my most recent install is one of the poor reviews. Yes, Kevin's communication is the worst. Promises to call, text, email constantly ignored.

My first experience went well.my living room install was a dream. Then the same crew returned to complete our master suite and two bedrooms - failure when the crew leader left the team alone all day to do the install. Then no one showed up the second day and NO ONE at McQuaid knew the crew was not on location! It has been two months, McQuaid must not need money because they have not been paid, and I still cannot get a phone call back from Kevin when he says he will call.

He even asked me to email a list of the areas for his review after going over it on the phone.then called a week later to say he had not read my email but could we take care of the bill and any reimbursements. He would send someone out on Friday to take care of everything. Seriously, when you don't even know what needs to be done? I asked him to review the issues in the email and call me - promised yesterday he would text if he could not find my email and call today.nope I will keep you posted!

I was in the process of trying to refinance my home and my washing machine leaked and created a flood. Consequently I needed to get the floor replaced as soon as possible so I could close escrow. McQuade flooring was very easy to deal with accommodating and did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend them. Needless to say I closed escrow on time

Since I ultimately chose not to go with McQuaid Flooring, I cannot critique the quality of installation. What I can address, though, is the difficulty I encountered in communication. Each time I contacted McQuaid and spoke to the contact person, Kevin, I was promised a call back to keep me informed regarding availability of product and subsequent installation.

These never came. I called back three time over the course of two weeks but did not receive the follow-through promised after each conversation. McQuaid is contracted by Lumber Liquidators which presented it's own set of problems. From other reviews submitted, I imagine McQuaid does a very good job of installation, but they were not the company for me.

Many thanks to Steve McQuaid and Abe for the awesome job you guys did for Kathee and me. You both are truly professional craftsmen that enjoy your work. For all potential flooring buyers out there. you simply cannot make a better choice when selecting the McQuaid team. We love our Brazilian cherry wood flooring! We will be having a neighbors open house when the remodeling is completed and you guys are invited so bring your business cards. no kidding.

Sean and his team a wonderful job on our flooring. McQuaid was a great value for the price. Sean was very knowledgeable about flooring. The team was professional, fast, and courteous installing our floor.

If you are thinking about hardwood flooring then there is no other company to go with than McQuaid flooring. They are truly masters at what they do because that's ALL they do. They put new hardwood flooring in our entire house over 5 years and I have yet to see a mistake. Seriously. And they would happily correct any flaw I did find.

Great experience with McQuaid Flooring. Stephen, who measured my space was on time and provided a quote on the spot. We were able to schedule the install the same day he measured. The day of the install the installers showed up on time and got right to work finishing the job the same day. They did an excellent job on the installation and I'm very happy with how the floors turned out. These guys are pros. Use them!

Shawn the the team were very knowledgeable and helpful with understanding my needs and budget. After meeting with several flooring contractors, I chose McQuid and would do it all over again. They were professional, knowledgable and most importantly, good craftsmanship.

I needed laminate installed in one room before I moved into my home. Despite the short clock (>2 weeks) McQuaid Flooring was able to get the job done! The communication was spot on and my floor is beautiful!

We were trying to find the best flooring for our busy, dog filled house! We looked at quite a few of other flooring companies but we were not impressed with their products. We needed DURABLE! We contacted Sean and he brought over a sample of the vinyl plank flooring that he uses. We were sold! Sean and his demo/install guys have been wonderful from start to finish, even with the minor hiccups you expect with every home remodel.

Even after 2 months after our project was finished, I called Sean and he helped me out! His customer service is worth the "extra cost" and we couldn't be happier with the flooring he recommended for us.

Measuring and planning was done with great care. Design advice was excellent. Prices were excellent compared to Home Depot. Conor and Sean did great with customer service. Our installers did a great job placing the boards and cleaned up well afterwards. We have a few very minor touch-ups awaiting, but I am sure those will go very well.

I bought some luxury vinyl from Lumber Liquidators. I asked them if they knew anyone who could install it. They set me up with Abraham from McQuaid Flooring. He seemed nice enough. Gave me the pricing per sqft and told me they could simply reset the molding on my vinyl installation. He did insist on sending his parter Kevin out to measure. Kevin showed up with my girlfriend onsite.

Maybe he thought he could take advantage of the situation and bloated up the quote over 40%! They were charging for things they weren't even doing like an inside door, I have no inside doors in the living room. Oh and charging me $150 to pick up material where I met them at?! I had plenty of room in my truck, but they said "oh we can just take it".

After calling them out on all the bloat in their quote Kevin agreed to revise and resend. He knew I was on a tight schedule of 1.5 weeks. I never heard back from them even after several phone calls / vmails. Guys, JUST TELL ME YOU'RE NOT INTERESTED. DON'T keep your customers waiting. I lost 4 days on this. HORRIBLE - STAY AWAY

Sean and his team were professional, clean, and did a beautiful job sanding and finishing my floors. The final product was exactly what I wanted and they look amazing. I'd recommend them to all my friends.

I just had my upstairs remodeled and purchased my flooring from Lumber Liquidators. Lumber Liquidators recommended McQuaid Flooring. The four installers were Cesar, Juan, Oscar and Chema. They answered all my questions before they began. These guys arrived on time, spent the full day installing 3 rooms and a hall with laminate flooring and baseboards.

To my amazement, the installation was absolutely spectacular. It was amazing what a great job these guys did. These guys were very professional, hard-working, and respectful. I would definitely recommend this business for installation of flooring. Using them will put your mind at ease.
