Scott Siemer, the current owner, was born in New Jersey, raised in Connecticut, and moved to California in 1978. He worked in Construction and got his general building contractors' license in 1984. He focused on new homes and additions and got involved in solar designs - including the first "double envelope" home in Santa Cruz County.

Our company was originally started by Scott's stepfather, J. Martin Lasica. "J. Martin" - as he liked to be called - moved out to California in 1982 and started a very dynamic roof maintenance company in San Jose called "Burmco". The company was very successful and J. Martin retired to pursue personal interests on the late 80s.

I am surprised to not find more 5 Star reviews for this company. They redid my commercial roof in Campbell in 2012 and said there was a 10 year warranty. I was very pleased with the initial job and their price was very competitive. They have been very responsive to any issue since then and when we thought there was a leak developing at a roof hatch in August 2016, they came right out, repaired it and took photos of the repairs. Sent me a 'no charge' invoice with all materials and labor time itemized. Very impressive to see a company that really stands behind their workmanship.

This company is very outstanding. They are always honest and up-front, very accommodating to tenant's and customer's needs and wants, and the work they do is top notch. Along with that, when you're done, they will give you a detailed invoice with color photos of the work performed. Keep up the great work!
