Solarator Electric

Had to change my rating. They do not stand behind their work. They connected my generator and caused a major short to my house. The good Lord was taking care of us because my house should've burned down. They came out and fixed the short, but left my generator I already paid for disconnected and they won't reply anymore. I paid $9k for a generator that is just a paper weight. I am very disappointed and frustrated.

We had a good experience with Darryl from Solarator Electric. The generator that we ordered was taking too long, so Mr. Ford refunded our deposit immediately. Great company, I would use again Service: Electrical power restoration

Solarator Electric was very easy to work with. We were able to get the work done with the least amount of disruption to my business. They showed up when promised and finished when expected. Service: Electrical panel replacement or upgrading

I hired Solarator Electric, Darryl Ford, to install a Generac Generator. I hired him because he is listed as an authorized dealer. His workmanship was so bad and unsafe that I have had to have it re-done. Come to find out, he did not pull any permits, the plumber he used to run a natural gas line did not go down the required 18 inches and in fact only buried the gas line about 3 inches deep in most places.

Due to safety concerns the generator had to be disconnected and now I am having to have all electrical and plumbing re-done to meet city and utility company specifications. Darryl Ford has still not given me a refund for his unsafe and shoddy workmanship. Would absolutely stay away from this company for any electrical work!

They were sent to troubleshoot and repair my GENERAC generator. They dispatched a technician named Brandon. He was very knowledgeable and found my problem right away. I hired Solarator on 7/13/2021. They installed my Tesla charger as the picture shows. It was meant to be a temporary install until they came back. They kept saying they would come back to finish the job, but they never did and now they aren't responding to my calls, texts, or emails. It has now been over 2 months. They took my money and never finished the job. I have never had a company leave me hanging like this. DO NOT USE THEM.

I wanted an estimate to install an electric car charger. I was very impressed by Brandon's knowledge and professionalism. Solarator will get my business when it comes time for the installation. My rating of my service from Solarator is exceptional. I first contacted Solarator at about 9 p.m. on Easter, after a lengthy power outage on that day. We wanted to get an emergency generator. I went to the website expecting to get a phone number to call the next day. I got a huge surprise. I was able to do an online chat and was asked if I would like to have someone call me to set up an appointment.

I said I would and asked when someone would call, remember this is 9 p.m. on Easter, I was told someone would call me in about five minutes. Within 10 minutes I got the call and had an appointment for someone to come out and give me an estimate on an emergency generator the following day, at 8 a.m. The salesperson arrived on on time, and within 24 hours I had an estimate.

The price I was given was less then half of what other companies were charging. During the installation process we were kept informed of what was going to be done and when. Everything was done on schedule and the quality of the work was high quality. My wife and I are very happy with the service and product. I know of no other company that matches the quality of service we got from Solarator.

Installation was efficient and quick. I needed to get a 60 amp circuit into my garage. Since the junction box in my garage could not support an extra 60 amp circuit, I needed a run from the opposite side of my house. The quote I received from Solarator beat the other quotes I received by at least $500. I had Solarator install a wall connector that would allow my EV to charge while I was at home at a much faster rate than the 110V plug that came with the car. Their installation was professional and came out just as they had described during the walk-through. I have not had any issues to date with my unit.

I just want to mention how kind and friendly our technician was. He was not pushy and explained everything to me so well. I needed a plug for my electric car put in my garage and he said it would be a week To get scheduled. But before he left he said go and get the parts to do it that night. He knew I needed to charge the car in order to use it for the weekend and he went out of his way at the end of his day to go get another van and other parts to do the work that same day. He went above and beyond any electrician I've worked with before! I highly recommend this company!
