Mainstyle Flooring

Our experience at Mainstyle was amazing! From working with Kenzie in Plainfield, to the measurements and final installation, everything was quick and easy. Our install (carpeting two large bedrooms) took about two hours and they were quiet, quick and friendly! Highly recommend Mainstyle for all your flooring needs!

We were absolutely THRILLED with everything Mainstyle did in our home. The job was done neatly, everyone was extremely professional and prompt. Employees went above and beyond, helping us out and we are forever thankful.

I bought carpet in October 2018. It is now 2020. When the carpet was installed there was NOT a single seam that had a pattern match. We contacted Mainstyle flooring and they sent another installer out to reinstall carpet and they asked if they could use some of the carpet from the first install to save some money because it was off the same roll, we agreed, but the new carpet has a different density and color than the first carpet installed.

The seams are terrible! (every room) We have made several calls and sent many pictures to them and waited months for replies. A claim was filed with Mohawk and we asked for a copy of the report and never received one. We have had other carpet company's look at the carpet, and carpet is not fixable!

5+ stars! We could not be happier with our new hardwood floors and the customer service provided by Mainstyle Flooring. We had water damage and needed new floors quickly, and Tammy and the Mainstyle team helped the process run very smoothly. She could tell I was pretty stressed out about the situation and talked me through everything very. patiently.

She recommended a wood color that we love. The gentlemen that worked in our home were professional and did an incredible job with the work. We could tell that Mainstyle really takes pride in their work. We had a different company put in hardwood floors when we moved in about 6 years ago, and Mainstyle did a MUCH better job. I highly recommend this awesome company!

Mainstyle is the best! We highly recommend them. They know their products and are very helpful and accommodating. We had thought we would go to a warehouse to get our flooring but their staff were totally unfamiliar with their products. Mainstyle was just about the same price and the customer service is outstanding. Mary is very knowledgeable and listens well to your needs and wants.

Best service and beautiful flooring. No pressure and quality help picking just the right flooring. We did almost our whole house and now ready to do the kitchen. Thank you McKensey for all your help

We checked out 5 other stores before stopping in Mainstyle! We are a past customer but wanted to see how others company's compared down THE BEST customer service! We had a picture of the flooring we were looking for and not only did Makenzie know exactly what we were talking about she walked right over and grabbed the sample. Bonus they were having a Labor Day cook out and fed us lunch! Highly recommended friendly helpful staff!

Called and requested repairs on our family room wood floors that were installed two years ago. The floor is popping while being walked on more and more. The floor also has loose planks and has gapped open over 1/4 of an inch for the entire length showing the subfloor. Service manager refused requests to fix it until fall when humidity changes. Didn't bother coming out to look.

Updated review since we finished our renovations this fall! Mainstyle is great small, family owned business. We used their indy location just south of downtown on Meridian and Epler. They have a Plainfield store. We showed them our dream kitchen, ideas, and budget and it came to life. We got our custom cabinets, countertop and backsplash from them and installed by them. Worth it!

I hate to give less than stellar reviews but parts of my experience with Mainstyle Flooring were less than enjoyable. First, after they pulled up my old flooring, they called to let me know it was going to cost me almost $1500 more. The floor was beautiful but the shoe molding ends were not painted, some of my new register covers were bent and instead of cutting them to fit, they just shoved them back in or they stick up.

They came back the following week to fix most of these items but didn't fix all of them. I called back to set up a time for them to return again but never got a call back. Maybe I'm crazy but I think when you pay $15k for new flooring it should be a great experience and everything should be done to your satisfaction.

I wouldn't recommend mainstyle flooring to anybody they had 2 guys come to my house to put carpet in and while they was there 1 of them decided to go through my wife's purse and stole $440 dollars and then the manager tried to tell me my wife was lying and must have lost it so I'm not only out $440 they also r trying to make me pay the whole bill after their 2 guys robbed me and my family of r money and feeling safe in r own house who knows if they took anything else like a key or something so they could come back for more

We went in to look at carpet and were very impressed by Doug. He spent time learning what we wanted and gave us great recommendations. He is a real professional!

Would not recomend to others.took over 2 months to complte a 3 day job over priced on product. Charged on items not recieved. No oversite on the people they contract to do the work just kept making excuses on completing or correcting problems. The floor looked like an amature laid it at first.

When we walked into this place we were told by the sales associate Dennis that they had there own contractors and they did not outsource workers. Dennis also told us there product was made in the us. Started off with 2 lies. As the contract was bein written up they could not get it right, the amount that was needed the kind they kept over charching it was a headache.finally when it was done and work started you think things would go smooth.no.2nd a job that should have been max 4 days turned turned 2 weeks now it has been a month they are supposed to finish today.

When they laid the back room they had to put down glue. They have glue coming through some of the wood. It does not look good. Don't get me wrong the color of the wood is lovely. My mom put hard earned money into her floor, but I am very disappointed in this company. there was so much more more than I could discuss here. Please go somewhere else, there are better places than this to work with.

They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. Took the day off for installation only to find out they were 12 feet short to finish. They said they would put a super-rush on the order for the carpet needed. It ended up taking a week and we had to take another day off of work. We asked for compensation and were told they don't do that but they would not charge us for the 12' of carpet which was nice of them considering it was already part of the initial bill. The installers were wonderful but the people in the office need to take a class in customer service.
