The worst home important project I've ever experienced! Very in skilled workers and response time! Took forever for my project to be finished! Did inside damage, where my roof never even leaked and offered no help! Do not hire them!

Reid McKinney is a very valuable asset to this company! I would highly recommend asking for him by name if you are getting your roof re-done.

First started with few phone call before finally reached an actual live person. Explained too Lisa the receptionist that I was looking for a bid on metal roof their in seaside. She explained that no one is their to handle the call and would take my info. Called back again few days later as they had not responded and said I can easily send you truss plans and design to take a tear off which most all roofing companies would do.

So I sent her email and said someone would call back. Another few days past and still no response. Mind you the house is literally 1.5 miles away from their office. So 10 days later had passed and at this point I had already sent out for 3 other bids and they all came in with 1-3 days. Their are two main metal manufactures Asc and Taylor metal. If you send them truss plans they will get back to you within several days which I also had back and new cost of materials.

This started March 9th and by March 23rd I received quote only because I sent an email back to them on how abs their customer service was. Who ever manages the bid process needs to do something different. Tom finally sent me a bid and after all the hassle abs wait time their bid was the highest by over 5k. Cmon. Then I received another call and he was following up on why I sent the email complaining.

I told him service and response time was horrible and know one follows up. He said that he follows everything through Crm and saw that. So if he follows everything then why didn't he step in and expedite things. He also said I don't need the business meaning I basically am nobody just wanted my feedback. My feedback is what you see above. If your in seaside are and coast call weather guard in Longview ans or sawtooth in Portland. They both will get you answers and actually come look at the place as well and their an hour plus away. Dr roof only has 4 stars as well. That is saying something

Don't use their white vinyl type roof. Condensation has destroyed the sheeting and roof starting to leak all over. Less that 10 years old. Called the first time after thanksgiving they let me know on the day of December 23 and after showings them the leaks they tell me it doesn't leak. I've called them 4 more times with no response. Time to elevate the situation. Don't use this company. I'm out 20k

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Responsiveness I paid them over 1k as half the deposit on the bid. 1. No one ever showed up 2. the office isn't answering the phone 3. their customer service isn't returnng calls 4. the person who did the bid isn't answering the phone. Looks to me like a bankruptcy.

Critical: Quality DR Roof has good guys selling the work, but grade B work. Basic flashing not done completely, flat area source of MORE leaks! Price a rip-off for the job! Services: Roof installation, Roof repair

This company saved my butt right before the snow showed up with one day notice. The leak in our roof was severe and they had their work cut out for them. Sorry to say that we recently had a very disappointing experience with Dr Roof in Seaside, OR. We called Dr Roof on Monday, September 20 after noticing water intrusion issues that appeared to be coming through the roof or siding at our house in Manzanita during a recent rainstorm. They said that it was the busy time of year and may be a few days before someone called to schedule a time to identify the issue and repair.

We received a call two days later and agreed to a time the following Monday afternoon (9/27). Monday arrived and we received a call that morning that the technician was on a major job elsewhere and would not be able to break away and we would need to reschedule for later in the week. On Wednesday (9/29), the technician called and apologized for not being able to make it on Monday and that he would be able to come to out house on Friday (10/1) morning after he got the crew going on another job.

He said it would likely be around 10 or 11 and would call when he was on his way. On Friday at around noon, after not hearing from the technician, I sent a text to the technician asking him for an approximate time he would be at our house. He responded, saying he did not know what time he would be there, but it would be later that day, explaining that he had two workers not come in that day and he had to work on another job.

It is now Saturday, 10/9. It has been over a week since that communication from the technician and we also have not heard anything since then from anybody at Dr Roof. It is certainly understandable that things come up unexpectedly and schedules may have to be adjusted. But it is extremely disappointing that the technician did not have the courtesy to call back and explain his not being able to make it to our house that day or to reschedule for another time. Furthermore, the fact that nobody from Dr Roof contacted us to explain or to reschedule is a clear indication to me that they do not care about our immediate need or keeping us as a customer of their company.

Outstanding roofing contract to work with from the sales consultant, installation supervisor and install staff. Very professional. Had a number of custom requests that they worked to fulfill exactly. Metal valleys, exact upgrade Marlarkey shingles in the color style we wanted, new replacement skylights, best synthetic waterprooof underlayment under lower shingles, all metal flashing, upsized metal roof vents and extra roof rafter block vents to bring roof crawl space ventilation up to current code requirements. Met all Marlarkey install requirement so we got the highest long term Marlarkey warrant.

High quality old tear off and installation crew. Fast crew also cleaned up all debris, cleaned the gutters. Is it going to be noisy, yes, this is a high speed construction crew using the latest high speed nailers and equipment. Took all the old roof tearoff to the front roof and dumping into their truck in the driveway. NO yard or flower damage at all. Got more than we expected and anticipated.

They put in skylights. There are problems with those skylights, but the main problem is that they seem to leak. I have paid three times for this company to repair the leaks in my roof. The last time was the cheapest, just under $800 to replace the boots on the vents in the roof that they said were the actual cause of the problem. Then it rained a few days later and the roof leaked in places it had never leaked before.

Sometimes I have had to call several times to get a response, and then weeks go by before someone actually comes out. Each person who comes out has a different idea about the leaks. They do not seem to talk to one another or to review the photos or other evidence other workers have collected. They do assure me that it's fixed and they do bill me.

The billing is fast. I suspect someone calls when they have nothing else going. I realize this review makes me look gullible and stupid. That's my excuse. But the roof still leaks.

I have worked here 8 years. Without wanting to sound biased I can guarantee there is not a group of men more competent in doing a great job on.your projects in the whole area.

David came to our home for an inspection during a period where we're selling our home and the new buyer wanted to check on the life of the roof. Not only did he fit me in last minute but he was on time, professional, knowledgeable and best of all. honest. We don't need a new roof at this time but I know the first and only person I'll call when the time comes at our new home.

Dr Roof is amazing. I have worked with a number of contractors in the area, and for workmanship, professionalism and response speed, Dr Roof exceeds all expectations. They not only responded to my request for service quickly and efficiently, they took the time to walk me through the projects, so I was comfortable with all the work they were doing.

The project manager, Jeff, was responsive to our questions and the intricacies of our specific job. In a region inundated by moisture their work is amazing. I will definitely be returning to them for any additional roof or siding work.

I recently had a leak on my bathroom skylight, and I called Dr. Roof to come review and assess the issue. Martin (Estimator) was very punctual, curious and professional, and informed me that my skylight needed to be replaced. He also informed me that my roof and venting was also at the end of its life span. Martin offered me various solutions, and provided a cost beak down for each option.

I ended up replacing the skylights, roof, and upgraded my venting system. Working with Sean (project management) was seamless, as we got the materials delivered and the project was scheduled in a timely manner. The crew showed up the next week, and they were able to finalize the project in a few days. The roof, sky lighting, trim, venting all looks amazing, and I am extremely happy with Dr. Roof and their team!

Dr Roof installed the roof on a mobile home before I purchased it. After 8 months there was a slight leak in the bathroom and when Shawn came out to evaluate it he found that the roof was still sound and the problem was condensation from heat and moisture. Even though he did not cause my problem he did place more vents in the roof which may help with the condensation. He didn't have to do this. He also gave me some advice on preventing condensation in the future. I'm very glad to recommend him.

This company was so easy to work with, great competitive pricing, the crew worked non-stop from morning till end of day and provided us with a fantastic result on installing a new deck. Great people to work with, David Clark especially, who was more than responsive to anything we needed. Could not be more pleased with the job. We would recommend them to anybody needing a deck or any other of their services. You know when good people do good honest work, it's something you want to tell others about. We'd give them six stars if we could.

Dr. Roof has the BEST customer service. They put on my roof and have serviced it without question. I am now getting windows and I and amazed at the level of expertise. The installer Arthur is a genius AND he cleans as he goes. I could not be happier with this level of service, it's rare these days!

True construction professionals. Price was right & the work is guaranteed. This is no "Chuck in a truck". These folks do what they say & say what they mean. I am sick & tired of contractors who come out, give an estimate - you never hear from them again - the price changes - they show up, start a job & then they don't finish it. Loads of excuses - if you can even get them on the phone!

This is a REAL company that actually does the work the way you would do it - if you owned a construction company. I didn't have to chase anyone. My calls were always answered live & I always got through to my estimator or my project manager. Worth every penny! As a new home owner, especially in a rainy town, one of the last things you want is the roof over your head to start weeping. Well mine did, and boy was it a crybaby. Luckily, Dr Roof was able to wipe away those tears. Their team came out in the rain AND hail and within 48hrs I had a brand new roof. Fast, efficient and responsive. These people have my business for life. Can't say enough good things about their work.

Our existing roof was around 20 years old and definitely in need of replacement. We did quite a bit of searching for a roofer, reading the reviews, and researching roofing materials. Eventually we discovered Dr Roof via the Malarkey Shingles website. After multiple bids, Dr Roof was clearly in the middle range. The experience with Dr Roof was good from the beginning.

The Dr Roof representative, Jonathan, came to our home and provided a solid evaluation of our property. He soon came back with concise, clear options spelling out the scope of our roofing project. Our situation was somewhat challenging with multiple steep pitches and the landscaping restricting access. The project manager, Shawn, did a pre-work visit and did a great job working with us to minimize the impact.

Over a week the work went smoothly with no significant or unexpected changes to the original estimate. The crew finished up with a thorough cleanup. One of the main reasons we chose Dr Roof was because of their significant history. Other roofers had 10+ year workmanship warranties, but had been in business for less than that time. We feel confident that if we do have a problem down the road, Dr Roof will be here to help solve it.

Dr Roof removed and replaced a simple roof on our home in Astoria. They were neat, efficient and very professional throughout the process. I would recommend them to others without hesitation.

When sales person came and met with us we were filled with sparkling reviews and testimonials of how great there work was. Clearly not the case with us. Replaced doors, windows, and screens. Windows kind of done ok. Extra charges without our consent. Doors and screen doors not installed with any weather protection. Window frames not finished correctly.

Very expensive and no follow up from them. Tried to contact them with concerns---always said the original install crew would be in touch. Now we'll have to redo most of their poor quality work. My recommendation is-find someone else. Run don't walk.

Dr Roof was very quick at getting to my house and making a great quote. Their work was quick and well done- no more leaks. The materials they used were quality.

After a plumbing contractor flaked on us and never finished their contracted work, we were left with an old cut-off vent pipe open straight up to the sky in our master bathroom (not temporarily capped or anything) and needed someone to come right away and remove it so we could get it patched. The guys at Dr Roof (Rich and Joe in particular) were super responsive and out here within a couple of days and finished the job quickly, professionally, and with a smile.

They were also highly communicative (too many contractors out there just leave you in the dark or wait weeks to get back to you on basic things) so we always knew what was up, what they were using, etc. Happy to recommend them and will use them again when we do the second stage of our remodel.

We looked for quite a long time to find someone who would put a new roof on our mobile home. When we had Dr. Roof come out for a bid they the type of roof we would need and why we'd need that kind of roof. All of he staff that we worked with from beginning to end were very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to. and knew who we were when talking about our job. We got a great roof, for a great price, with a great warranty, done by wonderful people. If someone know needs a roof I always tell them about Dr. Roof.

Dr Roof was spot on time with appointments and their bid was lower than most. My neighbor had just had Dr Roof do his house and that was a selling point. He actually did a spreadsheet rating about 10 contractors on various parameters and Dr Roof came out on top. So I was biased from the start. The rep was professional and courteous. They do a good job of being competitive in rural North Clark County where we live.

Their crew was thorough and hard working and they did a great job with cleanup. The roof looked great and all promises were fulfilled. It's been over one and a half years since the roof job and we've had no issues.

After calling several contractors who didn't return my call or keep their appointment to inspect my leaking roof, I called Doctor Roof. I got a real person on the phone and an inspection date for a week later. However, someone came two days later, inspected and repaired the same day. The leaking has been stopped. So I am very happy with Doctor Roof. I haven't gotten the bill yet, but I hope it's fair.

I've paid Dr Roof over $4000 for a deposit for a new metal roof. It's been over 2 months, they took my payment but still have not put me on their schedule and given me a date for the work to be done. Every time I call them, they don't return my calls. They also don't return my insurance company's calls. Terrible customer service and now I guess I will have to file a better business bureau claim to get my money back.

And I will have to hope that my roof lasts another coastal winter in the meantime. I should have given my business to another company and perhaps I'd have a roof already.

Dr. Roof just completed a roof in Gearhart that I roofed in 1984. They removed the old shingles, applied plywood over the old skip sheathing, applied new flashing and a peak roof vent system.in a very timely fashion. Beautiful job and finished with an uber clean work site. Man, I'd hire these guys any time. 5 star job for sure! Hubby Larry.

Sorry to say that Dr. Roof provides horrible customer service. I called Dr. Roof over three weeks ago to have someone stop by our vacation home in Gearhart and look at our roof to provide and opinion and estimate of some dry rot issues. I was told that Jay was the person that had experience with metal roofs and that he would be out in a couple of days to inspect the roof. Well.

It took over three weeks to receive a returned call from Jay. I am sorry to say that he did not even get up on a ladder and inspect the possible dry rot area and how extensive it was. He went on to say that he could not complete the work anytime soon. Super bummed that I burned three weeks waiting for them to respond and now they are not interested in doing the work or even providing a real bid. GEEEZ - bad customer service. Looks like we'll have our roofer come from Portland and do the work. Save yourself the frustration, hire a more reliable roofing company.
