I hired this company to get rid of the moss on the roof of the house and the garage, to treat said roofs, and to clean the gutters. The estimate seemed high to me, but it's difficult to find contractors to do small jobs these days. The crew showed up on time, but was clearly a subcontractor to WP. They worked a good part of the day, scraping the moss off both buildings, then treating with a zinc moss preventative.
They bagged up the majority of the moss, but unfortunately they did not hose down the roof after scrubbing it, so when the next rains came through, the grit and leftover pieces of moss were all over my vehicles. They also did a poor job of cleaning up chunks of moss that ended up on the ground and left behind the yard signs for me to deal with.

We hired western pacific to replace our roof. Their price was middle of the road, but their service was well beyond amazing. We worked with Rand who helped us get scheduled. His team was the hardest working bunch of guys I have ever seen. They showed up on time and worked all day long to get it done as soon as possible. They cleaned up after themselves, every day to make it as little inconvenience for us as possible.
They fixed what they broke and went above and beyond to make up content. Robert who came and inspected the final project was a dream to work with as well. I highly highly recommend this company!

They replaced our roof including underlayment, disposal, plywood boards as needed, edge metal, and all vents. Price was a little high but we liked the upgraded underlayment, written warranty, and the recommendation by our insurance company. Carlos and team worked safely did an excellent job on the roof. In the busy winter season of roof leaks/repairs, this company was able to get someone out to look at my leaking roof in 2 weeks while EVERYONE else was at least 6 weeks out! After the evaluation it was determined that my whole roof needed to be replaced it was so badly damaged. Once I signed all the paperwork and gave them my down payment, I was told it would most likely be 8 weeks before the roof could be replaced. 4 days later, I got a call that they would be out the following week! Everyone was so professional. They worked quickly, cleaned up everything and just did an overall fantastic job!

I wanted to give these guys a try for an estimate as they did several houses close to where I live. I also received three other quotes from other companies with all four using the same shingles and the same warranty so I could compare apples to apples-three of the four companies came back within $1000 of each other with their pricing estimates. However Western Pacific roofing came back over $5000 more than the other three companies.
During covid 19 this just seems very unreasonable and gouging. Do yourself a favor and get additional estimates from other companies utilizing the same materials and compare next to these guys and hopefully you won't have the same experience they tried to pull on me. I also called the office to speak with Alan the owner and explain what happened so he would be aware and I have yet to receive a call back from him. Good luck with your roof needs and seriously consider getting an additional estimate!

From the time that I contacted Western Pacific Roofing we were treated with absolute respect and professionalism. They made us feel like family. We called for emergency roof repair as a tree had fallen on our house, they responded very quickly (in just a few hours) and made the temporary repair to stop any water damage. Then in a short period of time they had the crew here and completely replaced our roof.
It looks great! and we know that we had the best service that we could have possible asked for in fact the exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them for anyone needing repair or replacement of their roof. Thank you to all the folks there as they treated wonderfully. Jerry & Hisako

Had a home inspection recently that exposed some tiles needing to be replaced. I contacted WPR again because they did a great job on earlier work on my roof when I first moved in years before. This time I had some serious bird droppings, tiles, and other duct work needing attention. They made sure that I was okay with the bird poop removal. I had a great experience with scheduling the work and seeing the results of what I requested.

We knew we needed a new roof and I was overwhelmed with the investment and the process of trying to choose someone we could trust to do a good job. I interviewed 4 roofing companies and Western Pacific was the last one. I found them as a recommended roofing company on the GAF website (a major producer of shingles). Their bid was incredibly reasonable, there was no pressure/high pressure sales going on (unlike other companies) and their workers did an incredible job.
Their work speaks for itself and I am happy to recommend them. When you're spending this kind of money on a house repair, you just want a reasonable price and people you can trust to do a good job, and Western Pacific will deliver.

Nick from Western Pacific Roofing came out to my house to do a free estimate of our roof replacement. He was on time, friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. He explained the process to me and answered all of my questions in layman's terms (which I totally needed!). While we did not end up choosing them to replace our roof (while they were a close second), they were still a good company to work with and would absolutely recommend them.

Unacceptable business practices and no professionalism. My HOA is currently dealing with Western Pacific and paying the price. They were previously hired and did not pull the correct permit on the initial job. We negotiated to not take legal action and to hire them back to complete their work, but now nothing is happening. Alan does not communicate with the team for his schedule, tried to charge us additional services at an hourly rate with no time estimate to complete the work, and is now not showing up on site, delaying the project and costing us more money. I've never taken the time to write a negative review, but this has cost us so much time and money that it felt due to warn potential customers.

We contacted Western Pacific Roofing and from the beginning everyone was wonderful! At the moment we are from out of state but our house is in Oregon City and had to do our business through phone or email.we were very nervous. but everyone was great, kind, and very professional! When we purchased our home we knew our roof had to be replaced and oh did we have major problems, but nothing that Western Pacific Roofing couldn't fix!
We had no complains from the neighbors, only compliments of what a great job they did! Thank you WPR for helping us with our roof.it is beautiful! -Oregon City, OR/Bay Area, CA

If you need a new roof call these guys. They did an exceptional job on my old house in Laurelhurst. 2 story English with steep slope and dormers. They had to remove a layer of composition and the original layer of cedar shakes and then install new plywood decking and architectural composition. They had to trim the old siding to fit above the new roof.
Because of the driveway layout, plywood and shingles were delivered on the ground. The poor roofers had to carry each piece of plywood and each bundle up the ladder. Roof comes with 50 year materials warranty and 10 years coverage for material and labor.

I had the best experience with this company from start to finish. They were timely, professional, and responsive. Their workmanship is excellent! My roof looks amazing. They were helpful throughout the entire process and always there to answer any questions. They cleaned up their mess entirely and removed the dump box quickly. Their bid was lower than one of their major competitors, even though they use the same quality materials.
My roof is finally properly vented thanks to their expertise! Plus, they were the only company who's estimator actually climbed up on the roof instead of just walking around the perimeter. Therefore, they were able to tell me about my crumbling chimney, which can't be seen from the ground. I was able to get my chimney rebuilt before the roof, instead of finding out after the job started that there was a problem. Such a good experience! If I could give more stars, I would!

From the salesman, Greg Brandt, to the scheduler, supervisor, foreman and the workmen, these guys were always on time. We were contacted immediately to give us the scheduling date, time and what to expect as far as the delivery of the roofing and the delivery of the dumpster, and when the crew would start and finish the job. The whole process went like clockwork, unbelievable.

We had some pipe flashings and static vents replaced and the estimate was also for some minor repairs that in the end were not needed and some that were not done. After the workers were gone, they left the old roof staples and shingle pieces all over the roof. We were definitely very unsatisfied with their product and customer service and will never use or recommend them again.
With that said, here I am 12 months later with a leak in my roof from their repair job that is not guaranteed and not done properly. Turns out one of the vent covers they installed was not even nailed to the roof. So it eventually came off and was not noticed until water stains were visible on our ceiling. I repaired myself because I didn't want to deal with their bull again after the first very disappointing experience. All I can say is get estimates from a couple different companies.

Let me just post the email that went to Alan Freeman the salesman that misquoted me on just the house and not my garage that 3 other roofing contractors included, then had the nerve after a change order that involved another $4,000 to add $65.00 to the bill for a 4x8 sheet of 3/8 fir plywood that is $18 at Lowes and Home Depot. (My email) Alan, I saw on the final bill that I was charged $65.00 for a 4x8 sheet of decking which I assume was the fir 3/8 I saw next to the dumpster.
I was on the roof to frame in skylights and also during the tear off and the installation of the new roof.of which I have photos. The decking was in great shape except 2 sections where one of the guys went through the decking between sheets with no rafter supporting it. I was on the roof and using sign language he told me he stepped through it. I can buy a 4x8 sheet of fir 3/8 for $18 First I was surprised no one from Western informed me that you had a 2 man crew that spoke ZERO English.
Then I was surprised that no one stopped by at the time of the change order to just inspect what was going on and ask if we had questions. When you spend nearly $14,000 of hard earned money I expect customer service. To ask me for $65.00 is an insult! Sincerely, Thomas Scott

We bought a house with a roof that had just been installed by Western Pacific. A few months after moving in and getting settled, we realized that the new roof was installed with far less ventilation than it needed. Yes, they eventually fixed it, but dealing with them was a nightmare, one of the least professional business that I've ever dealt with.
Multiple times they would answer the phone and tell us that someone would call us back, and nobody would. Then they tried to tell us that they "checked their files, and everything is fine. " After calling multiple times, they finally sent someone over to look and they admitted that it was installed incorrectly. Now we just needed someone to do the repairs. "We'll call you to set up an appointment".
Nobody would call. Weeks later, they call on a morning and say "We'll be there today". I take the day off of work to be home and nobody shows up all day and didn't even call to say they weren't coming. They finally show up to fix it, unfortunately the worker didn't know what we had discussed with the company and didn't speak English well enough for us to communicate with him, so he fixed a portion of the problem and then left.
Eventually they sent out someone to get the job fixed. That is just a small portion of the weeks of dealing with them. It's not worth saving money and having to deal with them and their lack of professionalism. If something goes wrong with your roof, I would not be confident that you'll be able to get them to fix it.

I wanted to take a minute to thank you and Western Pacific Roofing for the excellent job your company did on roofing my father's house. We had a very short window due ot weather and not only did you complete on time, but finished early. I am especially pleased with the communication and how your company handled this process after finding all the rotten spots on the roof.

I had Allen the owner out to do an estimate about 2 months ago. Their price was one of the lowest I received. Today I am happy to announce I have a brand new comp roof installed by Western Pacific. I found their crew to be very nice and very clean. The Forman ran the job very well. For all 3 of the days they were here he would tap on the door each evening to let me know their progress. I would recommend this company to all my friends. Very reputable.

We had our roof replaced by western pacific roofing three years ago. Recently we had a problem with a leak by one of the vents. After reporting the problem they took care of the roof leak and fixed the interior damage to the ceiling in our laundry room. We are very impressed with the customer service provided. I would recommend them highly.

Working with Mandy on the phone and she was so very helpful. I had some damage after some trees fell in the recent snow weather. I was very happy with the service and quality of work. They were out fast for an emergency cover and then setup a great quote and got my family covered back up in time for holiday parties. Thank you so Much!

Thanks for a job well done. Also, thank you for making me aware of the poor workmanship by the company installing my gutters under my new pergola. Had your crew not given me a heads-up, I'd be dealing with dry rot in the future. I appreciated the e-mailed pictures the crew took. It made my argument with the gutter company less complicated.

We scheduled an appointment for a roof replacement quote with Western Pacific. We agreed on the date. When no one showed up, we called and were told we had been rescheduled for a different day. no reason or excuse given, and no call letting us know. But, we went with the new date, giving them the benefit of the doubt. and promptly got stood up again in exactly the same fashion.
We were rescheduled without notice or any hint of care (thanks Genevieve). And so went the prospect of doing business with Western Pacific. If our initial contact with a company is this bad, they can't possibly expect to gain our confidence for a project of this importance/expense.

I wanted to thank Scott at Western Pacific Roofing for a wonderful job their company did after a fire we had at our house. They came out on time the day they said they would and fixed the repairs that needed to be done. He also inspected the rest of the roof and pointed out what might need to be done in the next few years.

I called this business for an estimate to clean the moss off my roof, replace a small section of gutter and a strip of flashing. They sent Scott who in the same breath after introducing himself said 'I see this roof needs to be replaced right now'. He walked to the backyard where for some reason he picked up a stick and started waving it around his head then threw the stick onto the lawn. Weird.
But it didn't stop there. While he continued on about how unsafe and horrible the roof is he stood very close to me. I'd take a step or two away and he would take a step or two right back in. Creepy. I've owned the house for only a few weeks and have the inspection report from a trusted source that advises the roof has at least another 2 years of life left with some routine maintenance and moss removal and this was the job I was trying to get an estimate for. Scott said that housing inspectors know nothing about roofs.
He insisted the roof must be leaking and when I told him there were no leaks and had current photos as proof he rolled his eyes at me and shook his head. At one point he responded to a text and flashed photos of his pit bull on his phone. Obviously I won't be letting him or the company he represents anywhere near my house to do work. The guy was really pushy, creepy and high pressure.
And flat out wrong - I've had 3 other estimates that all corroborate the original inspection report and I've contracted with one of them to do the work. My advice based on my experience is if you do call them for an estimate, have someone else with you during his visit to your home and get other opinions for sure.

Just bought a new home so I called a couple roofers out to inspect and tell me what I should do to make my roof last longer. Scott came out to inspect my roof and he was very knowledgeable, and honest. He said my roof is in good shape but the rubber around 3 pipes sticking out of the roof was rotten. Not a big deal as this is easy and inexpensive to fix.
It was nice to have someone come out and tell me simply and truthfully what condintion my roof is in. Thank you for being the only company that came out and didn't try to convince me that my 15 year old roof needed to be replaced. Scott was great and I will be hiring Western Pacific Roofing to do the necessary repairs.

I don't think I've ever worked with a company that was as disorganized as Western Pacific Roofing. If their response to requests for work are anything to go by, one would think that they don't want anyone's business. I've been dealing with them for about three months (first a roofing job and then a soffit replacement) and I've never had anyone respond to a phone message or an email.
I usually leave two emails and a couple phone messages and still no response. The only time I've ever heard back from them was when I called after hours, got the boss on the phone, explained that I've been trying to get a call back for three weeks, and then he leans on one of his employees hard enough to get someone to contact me. Once they sent someone out to give me an estimate for soffit work.
I asked them to please email me the estimate so that I could let them know if I wanted to schedule the work. They said they would email it to me the next day. Instead of sending me the estimate, they sent an employee out at 8am the next morning to do the work. I had to send him home because I hadn't even seen the estimate for the job yet (it never came).
When I called a month later to ask again for the estimate, they assured me they'd send it right out to me. Never did. I told them I needed to schedule the work for the following week because my gutters were being replaced and the soffit work had to happen before that. They said they couldn't send someone the following week to do the work, but if I could push back the gutter work, they would put me on the schedule for the week after.
So I called the gutter contractor to reschedule. Then West Pac never sent the estimate, never sent a crew. I finally got someone on the phone and he assured me again that he would send me an estimate the next day and that he would send a crew out that weekend. I never heard from anyone again. Update: I called to speak with the owner to tell him about what had happened.
He was incredibly kind and apologetic and said that the guy in charge of scheduling no longer worked for the company. Then he sent someone out immediately to take another look and to give me an estimate. That guy assured me he would have the estimate to me the same evening (yesterday). No estimate arrived. When I followed up by email today, I got a reply with a referral to another company, saying that the West Pac crew wasn't skilled enough in carpentry to do the work.

If you want to waste a bunch of your time, have someone come over an hour and a half late to the set appointment time for an estimate, get on your roof and tell you they will have an estimate for you in the next couple days, then receive no information for the following month and a half, I highly recommend Steve Smith with Western Pacific Roofing.
After my estimate on wind damage on my roof (which I needed to submit to insurance to continue my claim) the holidays hit, so I waited until the break before new years, then after new years to call him three times various days apart asking if he could please send on my estimate. to this day I have never received a courtesy return phone call/email etc. So if you love to be ignored, and want to spend energy on a person who will not followthrough with what you need-- definitely give Steve Smith a call!

Everyone that I worked with at Western Pacific Roofing were really nice people. They were upfront with me about my options and ended up saving me some money. As soon as I signed the contract, I got a call from the project manager and they were ready to get started. and they had a new roof on my garage in less than one day. I could barely tell they were at my house!
I was referred to them by a family member who has used them several times and has always had a good experience. It's kind of hard to know what you're going to get with a contractor but I found them to be professional, knowledge and responsive.
