A good excavation requires a skilled excavator. These skills included hand carved walls, beams and seating areas. No loose dirt should be left behind in the cavity. Steel rebar adds to the strength of a pool shell. No matter how big or small a pool is, all steel should be set at 8 inches on center. ½ inch steel on beams and 3/8 inch steel on walls and floor.
