I found them through Yelp and emailed them about getting help with my dryer. They initially responded within minutes, but after we discussed what I was looking for, they became unresponsive. I attempted following up a couple times then gave up. I'm not sure if they considered the work not substantial enough or if they were too busy. Regardless, I would've appreciated them letting me know if they couldn't help me.

I was on the market for a heat pump to replace our 30+ year old furnace with new technology that can also cool the house. I researched vendors on Yelp and had the worst time getting anybody to reply to notes for more information. One vendor even came for an estimate and never sent a quote! I finally called Air Flow Pros and the scheduler on the phone, Donna, was so nice and professional. AFP came exactly when they said, Rudy walked through my house, made a recommendation, and sent a quote a few days later.

Cut to install, which was done exactly on schedule, they even ended a day early. Left my place super clean, and the heat pump seems to work great! Would definitely recommend AFP.

Local family owned company. Rudy was professional and knowledgeable when troubleshooting my tricky furnace problem. He didn't have all the parts on the truck with him, but got them and returned the same day with a few other guys and got the job done. Thanks Rudy!

We've used this firm before, with good results, but last month we were obliged to replace completely our antiquated house heating system, and we chose Air Flo. The work happened on schedule and was completed in a timely manner, mostly by a single worker, with some drop-in visits by colleagues. The new furnace works like a charm, and the final price tag, while a huge expense for us, was as budgeted. Thank you, Air Flo Pro's!

They has been very patient and flexible with scheduling work on my HVAC system pertaining to a real estate sale subject to my lender's red tape. Very professional and the quality of their work and products is top notch!

I tried to schedule with them here for an emergency repair. They responded a few hour later to tell me schedule a time via their online system. There was no appointment until next week. Try somewhere else if you need anything fixed urgently.

Live in a rental that had a heater installed by these guys. Makes a horrible constant ticking noise. A guest commented that it sounds like a woodpecker is in the unit. No big deal, sometimes things like this happen. What pissed me off more than anything was the way that the techs talked. They thought I didn't speak Spanish so they proceeded to call me an idiot for having the heating unit on before they came.

First off, their boss Rudy, told me to leave the unit on so that it can "break in". So that's what I had done. They also told me that they'd let me know when they were on their way, which they did only 10 mins before they got here. So as soon as I got the text I flipped the switch off. Don't know what to say other than poor planning on their part?

But I don't need that kind of disrespect in my own house. You guys need to be better about professionalism. And if you want to talk shit, at least have the common decency to do it after you leave.

Carlos showed up right at the beginning of our appointment window and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue with my furnace quickly. I highly recommend Air Flow Pros.

Watch out for their drivers. Just now while I walked across street at Cerritos and Mincada, an Air Flow truck barreled through stop sign with stopping and barely even slowing. Had I not stopped, taken a couple steps back, he/she would have run me over. I cannot trust my business to a company so reckless and careless.

My furnace stopped working and I called AirFlow Pros. They walked me through an easy troubleshoot procedure. Found out it was the thermostat. They quoted me a price and the lifetime warranty on programable device. Plus service and clean the furnace. After wrangling with the owners not to use the handy man and his unprogramable device. They realized it was a good deal.

Air Flo Pros immediately came over within an hour. Installed the device, serviced the furnace. Didn't mind me standing and watching and engaging in a good conversation. I presented the landlords with an easy to read invoice. They had no complaints. Which means they were completely satisfied and said they may use Rudy at Air Flo Pros in the future. Long-time locals who have extensive knowledge of SF homes and what it takes to upgrade an HVAC to add air conditioning. We initially got a quote from someone our GC recommended, and he said we'd need to add ducts everywhere (even though we have some) and prohibitively expensive. When Air Flow Pros came out, they said it would be straightforward with our existing ducts, did the work, and boom- a/c in time for the smoky months!

The one gotcha was I missed that we needed to get an electrician to hook up the unit after the installation. But when I asked why it wasn't working, they answered quickly without any judgment. I can't recommend them more!

Someone came out back in May so we could get an estimate on air conditioning. We live in a brand new construction house that doesn't have air ducts but we were open to a wall unit/cassette type of deal. The man that came out (father in law of owner?) really just wasn't a great salesman, just kept talking about how difficult it would be, how much work it would be.

I told him just send us the quote, we'd like to know how much it'd cost. Not only was he just so negative about the whole thing, apparently they don't do anything but the installing of the air conditioning units.so we'd have to get the GC for the wall tearing and fixing, we'd have to source and pay the electrician separately to hook up the units, etc etc. Would've been better off if he just said they couldn't do it off the bat. And surprise surprise, he never did get back to me on the quote after I sent him the structural floorplans for our house.

Jose diagnosed our heater issue and quickly ordered the replacement part. Got a call from Jose parts were ready and our heater was repaired within 5 business days! Knowledgeable, quick turnaround, and friendly! Highly recommended!

Jose diagnosed our faulty central heating controller module and tracked down a replacement, as the heater is decades old. He was flexible on timing and had the module swapped out and our heater back up and running in 45 minutes. Solid service and solid guy. Would recommend.

No clue how they have 5 stars - maybe I caught them on a bad day? Two hour appointment window, I called/emailed with 15 minutes left asking if this is still going to happen today. Rudy shows up 5 minutes outside the two hour mark, spends less than 5 minutes with the consultation and said I will get the estimate in writing through email. It has been a week now; no estimate and no email/phone call returned from the office.

We had a stunningly wonderful experience with Air Flow Pros. During the cold season in February they showed up quickly, diagnosed the problem, and offered three options, ranging from repairing our 30++ year-old furnace (several hundred dollars) to replacing it with a high-efficiency unit (several thousand dollars). The engineer that came out also explained to us why we were not good candidates for an all-electric solution.

We chose the new, high-efficiency replacement, Air Flow did an excellent job installing it and making it work in our old house. We can now get warm in cold mornings incredibly quickly and wonder why we waited for failure to upgrade to a more environmental and more comforting heater! The folks on the phone and those that came by were always friendly, understandable, quick, efficient, and professional. They are very nice people who did very nice work for us.

I would have liked to work with this business for a furnace replacement based on all the positive reviews, but the current scheduling process is frustrating. I left a voicemail, received a link for online scheduling request, completed the form and picked an appointment date / time - only several days later to receive a reply "sorry, no appointments available".

That process took a full a week, now back at square one with no appointment and it does not seem worth going through that again. Maybe they will be more efficient to communicate with post Covid.

They're great! We recently moved in to a place with a furnace that had clearly not been serviced or maintained. Rocky was able to come out the next day to give it a look, clean it up, and make sure it was operating as it should. It's so reassuring to have a professional take a look. And Rocky was an awesome friendly guy to chat with too!

He pointed out a couple things that we should keep an eye on that might break in the future and how we could tell. I'll definitely keep Air Flow on speed dial for anything HVAC related. Great family business. Their online portal and payment options are great too and such a step up from a lot of old school appliance companies. I was even able to pay with Apple Pay. (Also for these COVID times, Rocky was double masked and super respectful of all the recommended guidelines.)

Rudy is a gem. He realized that my old furnace was not worth fixing and set me up for a new one--3 days later. Unfortunately for me, we were in a cold snap last week. Rudy and his team installed my new furnace as scheduled and I soon had warmth again. I love using independent, family-owned businesses and this is a great one too use. The price was very reasonable.

Really impressed. We had arranged a repair appointment for this morning, but when Rudy arrived, neither he nor his dispatch could reach us. We thought we had blown our chance to get our heating repaired; of course winter is a busy time as everyone's suddenly turning on their heaters and just finding out they're broken! It looked like the next appointment wasn't going to happen for weeks, and emergency servicing wasn't a route we wanted to go down as that can get expensive. However, Rudy checked in with me later in the afternoon, and we were able to finally connect to get him out to our place.

He diagnosed the problem quickly, got us the right part, and gave great advice on how we can avoid it in the future (note to all - replace your filters every year). Super fast service, price was as expected, and Rudy was incredibly professional throughout. I started this morning ticked off at myself, and ended this afternoon thrilled (and finally, warm). I can't recommend them enough.

I had my heater stop working and called Air Flow Pros. Rudy is the guy who came on time and check it out and found the problem. Due to increasing temperatures year over year, we decided to finally install central air on our house. Rudy and his son came by, explained the process, and gave us a quote that day. I get the sense that they're pretty busy these days, but they still did a great job answering all of our questions and scheduling the work quickly. It was a fairly decent sized project because they had to run refrigerant lines to the backyard.

They hit a bit of a hang up with a bad batch of control wire, but they were incredibly patient and professional and did a great job explaining the issues. As of today, we have cold air blowing through our vents! We'd definitely recommend air flow pros for future work!
