What can I say other than we absolutely love our new windows! Michael was responsive, helpful, accommodating, and competitively priced. This was my first adventure replacing windows as a homeowner and he patiently walked me through options and addressed every little question. His installation team was professional and showed great attention to detail.

They installed 13 windows (some of them very large!) in a single day with limited disruption to our home and family. After getting estimates from a number of companies, I decided to go with Michal at Custom Exchange Windows. He obviously knew what he was doing when he measured and gave his estimate. a great price too! My windows and sliding doors were original from 1975! The new windows and doors were replaced in one day by a team of 2 (sorry I don't remember their names, but they were efficient, professional and nice). I am loving my new windows. So fresh and clean and quiet! So glad I went with Custom Exchange Windows!

We just signed a contract to purchase Simonton DaylightMax windows from Michal and he has been outstanding. My wife and I had a million questions and Michal answered them all with a good attitude. We also got a lot of proposals and his quote was super competitive. We are excited to have the windows installed and so far have been extremely impressed with Custom Exchange and the entire process!

Michal and his team did an OUTSTANDING job on the installation of the windows. Michal was very easy to talk to and gave a very accurate estimate of when the windows would be ready for the install. On the day of the install, the crew was prompt and on time and went right to work. They were very thorough, respectful of the property and did and excellent job of installation, caulking, and of cleanup. The only thing that they left behind were sparkling clean new windows, BRAVO! Back in Aug 2021, Michal and his team provided a competitive quote to replace all our 6 windows with Simonton Daylight Max Windows. He recommended a single hung window due to the narrow opening. 3 weeks before the scheduled delivery, Michal called to let us know that the windows would be delayed an additional 3 weeks due to the pandemic. When the shipment arrived, he let us know that a window was missing and he would come back to replace the last window when it would arrive.

The installation went smooth overall since we cleared out all the furniture ahead of time. The team that installed the windows was professional and courteous. The caulking on the exterior had to be touched up afterwards and some of the windows had to be shimmed to fit in place. Michal also provided the order information to register for the Simonton warranty online. Would definitely recommend!

When I moved back into my family home I wanted to replace some of the very old windows with something more modern. Michal was very easy to communicate with and was very clear on options I had. When they did the work I was a little concerned by the contract caveats about there being no repainting etc, but when I looked at the final product it was perfectly clean. The windows look and work great. Very professional and highly recommended.

Michal and his team did a great job on my parents' home. Michal came personally to take measurements and explain the intricacies of the windows he uses and why he chose them over other window manufacturers. I hired Custom Exchange Windows after receiving quotes from several companies. They were professional and easy to talk to and work with from the very beginning. Their quote is right where I needed it and I liked the style of the windows they were selling. We have had the windows installed now for several months and couldn't be happier. We had a great experience with Custom Exchange Windows replacing all the windows in the second story of our house. The team was responsive and professional, and the cost was very competitive compared to other places we considered. We will definitely use them again when we are ready to replace the windows on the first floor.

I thought I had left a review for these guys already. Anyway this was one of the BEST contractor experiences ever! Not a day goes by that I don't look out these windows in admiration. My installation was early 2021. It fit surprisingly well into my budget and these guys knew what they were doing. They even went the extra mile to size and cut an improperly installed quartz window sill installed by a previous contractor, that looked pretty but caused the window to not close all the way! It is so much quieter in the house now and cooler in the summer and definitely warmer in the winter. There's nothing like new windows. You'll be in good hands.

Our experience with Custom Windows deserves a rating much higher than 5 Stars! From original estimate meeting to completion it was fantastic. Everything was fully explained and the professionalism and work-product far exceeded our expectations. Work began on time and all windows in the house were installed with full clean-up completed in 6 hours! we did not have to leave the house.

These guys were great. Michal came out pretty quick after I called him and he gave me straight to the point information about what we wanted done. He advised it would take about 12 weeks for delivery of our 6 windows, including a patio door. Due to supply chain issues everyone is dealing with, it was about 14 weeks to get them, but it was no big deal.

The team that installed the windows did an amazing job. It took them a couple of times to come out because they were waiting on the frame for the patio door, but that only took an extra week. We're very impressed with the quality of the windows and workmanship that the installers did. I emailed Michal after the job was done and told him we were so happy with the windows, we'll likely be calling him in a year or two to do the whole rest of our house. Thank you guys!

This review is for their RESPONSIVENESS. I did not proceed with contracting with them. I requested a quote from them 1.5 yrs ago and just sent them a message to ask if they can honor the same quote. I understand post pandemic prices but was still hopeful, the quote is almost 30-35% more than the original quote. I ended up not moving forward, however I appreciate the responsiveness and how fast their customer service is! 5 stars for that!

I'd been wanting to get several windows replaced for a while and imagined a long, expensive process, but working with Michel and his team was the exact opposite. He came out, gave me a quote, it was much lower than other window vendors, and the install was done in half a day. I needed some exterior framing redone to accommodate the new windows and his team did that work too. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend Custom Exchange Windows.

Michal and his guys Joseph and Robert are efficient and reliable team. Michal presented and explained to us the windows information and gave a competitive pricing for nine windows and one patio door that was within our budget so we didn't have to shop around. He was very responsive in all follow-up questions. On the day of installations, his team of two guys came with all the windows and started working on them right away. This crew did an amazing job with out house! We replaced nearly all the old windows and it was no small feat (you'd be hard-pressed to find any right angles in our old home). We're super happy, and the house is noticeably more immune to the hot sun or cold mornings. We couldn't be happier!

Came in a bit lower than other estimates and with what I believe to be a superior product (warranty and more window than frame, the installed windows are impressive). Had a great experience recently upgrading our windows. Michal gave us a competitive quote. Contacted me at the timeframe mentioned. Finished the installation and clean up in 1/2 a day. Great company! They were very professional and detailed in their communication - just straight to the point and realistic given COVID impact on delivery and materials. Once the windows arrived we scheduled immediately. They moved so quick! Two people did the installation. They worked in tandem and seamlessly - finished quickly and left everything very clean. From getting a quote to after the project was completed, Michal and his team were always responsive, proactively communicative, prompt and attentive to detail. Even though their price was by far the lowest of the quotes I got, I was a bit skeptical of going with this company since Michal was not as descriptive of the different types of windows as other companies were - but that is because he is the business owner and is not trying to be a salesman.

Michal and his team did an excellent job installing 7 new casement windows in our house. The process went very smooth and we were very satisfied with the upgraded windows. We specially liked the fact that he explained us the different types of glasses and how they filter the light and reduce the heat tranfer at different levels. Thanks to his patience and excellent customer service, we ended up selecting the right glass for each window.

We had our windows replaced on 3/24/2021. Robert and Joseph did a great job! They were on time, courteous, and neat. Safety was also paramount, as they were masked and socially distant for the entire time they were at our home. They worked very efficiently and meticulously. They explained what they were doing through the whole process, and how to operate the latches and stops. We are so happy with their work and with the new windows. Chose to work with Michal and Custom Exchange after working through multiple estimates. Other providers were way too focused on showmanship and salesmanship, which created a lot of distrust. From the first call, through the estimate/measuring and projection of time to complete, Michal was extremely genuine, transparent with pricing, forthcoming about delivery and installation.

His team of two that came to install the windows were very friendly, extremely efficient (took only 2 days for 21 windows!). In the end, he came in with a very good price, efficient delivery and installation, and continued support after completion. Amazing work by Michal Kuron and his team. Very efficient. I got 7 companies to come and give me a quote to replace 21 windows in my old house because my PG&E bill got to be over $600/month, partly due to having old single-pane aluminum frame windows. I got all kinds of different companies, from very big (Sears), to general construction companies.

In the end I went with Custom Exchange because Michal, the owner, came to my house to measure and give me the quote insread of a salesperson, also because their quote was very competitive. Only one other company was in the same ballpark, everyone else was close to $10k more expensive. I signed the contract and Michal told me he didn't need to come back onsite to precisely measure the windows like some other companies do.

Then I waited about 6 weeks for the windows to be manufactured and shipped (there's a delay at the factories because of COVID). I then scheduled time to do the work, which took 2 days! For 21 windows! The installers were very fast, they did half the windows each day, then they cleaned everything up and left, taking the old windows with them. I paid everything in full at the end. I'm very happy with the result, the windows look great and I don't feel the cold while standing in front of them anymore. I can't wait to see the difference on my future PG&E bills. Thank you! Got 10 windows replaced by these guys a couple months ago. Got 3 estimates. This was the most reasonable. From consult to install, it was all pretty seamless. Installers took time to explain stuff, did a good job with installation. Clean up was good. Would recommend.

This review is a couple years late, but I wanted to share my experience working with Michal. I live right next to the train tracks and needed double-paned windows put in. The whole process was easy, he was very knowledgable when it came to brand recommendations, and our new windows was worth every penny, especially when it comes to the noise reduction.

It was an upgrade we really needed, and we are so glad we went to Custom Exchange Window for it. (I'm also passing them along to my sister who is looking to replace her windows too!)

Michal and team did a great job of replacing my older windows with brand new ones. The entire process of getting quote and ordering the windows was easy. installation was completed within a day. The work area was kept clean and the older windows were hauled away without any issues. I would definitely recommend Michal and team for your window replacement.

- Competitive pricing: I asked around, 2 competitors had similar quotes and 3 competitors asked about 1.5 times more. - Noise reduction: I STRONGLY suggest everyone get the sound package on bedroom windows. We live next to a 25 mph community road. The new Window noticeably reduced the noise and we sleep better now :) - Installation: They spent 3 hours in replacing 5 windows with 2 people. The overall work is good, they kept masks on the entire time, and cleaned up the debris. But I do hope them put more cloth to cover the carpets instead of a small piece under each window (as they walk around with their outdoor shoes), and spent more time in understanding requirements and explaining the work beforehand. - Others: The lead time is 5 weeks. No deposit, just gave the check after job completion (whereas other competitors take deposit).

I'm very satisfied with the job Custom Exchange did retrofitting the windows in my house. The best price with superior quality and short delivery time! Now I have a well insulated house with new look, way better than it was with the original windows. I'd like to mention that the installer did a perfect job not only with the windows fit, but also keeping all walls and furniture intact.
