I called Ameritech Wednesday morning in need of a new AC quick. Chris Makin came out the same day, was extremely professional, thoroughly explained what I needed and took the time to find the right system to fit my needs. The system was installed Friday. The install looked great and the house was left spotless. The Ameritech customer service exceeded expectations, would highly recommend.

I purchased my AC unit from AmeriTech and overall my experience has been great. This week I had a very unusual issue (rats in the unit) and Kent Vaughn showed up (EARLY btw) and went above and beyond what he had to do for this service call. I really appreciate how helpful this company and it's techs\operators have been and will continue to do business with them in the future.

Couldn't be happier with the service provided by Chris Makin and his team. I had to change the date/time of my quote at least twice and Chris was flexible in allowing me to do so. He made sure to work with me to nail down a good time that I'd be available. I had Ameritech install a zoned damper system, with additional thermostat in my two story home, and add 3 returns up stairs.

Prior to the system the heating and cooling in the house was really inconsistent, now, it feels like the temp throughout the house is more consistent and heats/cools based on where the temp adjustments is needed. It's helpful that I can now adjust the upstairs and downstairs temperatures separately based on where I am going to be during that time.

The installers did a fantastic job. All work looks professional and they made sure to explain operation and what they had done to the system. They cleaned up after themselves really well, even in parts where they had to cut through the drywall. Excellent services provide by Ameritech. Look forward to working with them again.

Responsive service, my evaporator coil failed after barely a year of installation and they are going to come out and replace it free of charge. Quality service like that should be commended. Chris was very professional and well versed in the company and the products and services that were offered. He took his time and explained the difference between the units and explained the entire process to me. He held my quote and price for 3 months and informed me of all my options. The crew came on time on the day of installation, helped me to load my old unit on to a trailer so I could recycle it myself.

The crew was kind, professional and very courteous. They answered all of my questions about the installation. They also cleaned up all installation waste gave me my warranty package. The company also took care of my warranty registration and sent me confirmation emails with city permit and warranty included. Great company!

Derick called ahead to notify me ahead of his arrival. He was professional and verified the system was not reporting any errors but could use some much needed maintenance since it's been 3 years since installation. He performed an extensive cleaning on the system and replaced a part that was showing some wear and tear. Service was thorough and did not take long to complete but was not rushed in any way.

He also provided me with some suggestions on routine maintenance to perform to keep the system working. Yet more proof why I went with Ameritech with the HVAC replacement and why I will continue to be a loyal customer.

My wife left a bad review after extremely poor service, constant breakdown, and rude techs. The CEO refused service unless we took down our review. We did and called a year later and everyone refused to speak with us due to this regard. As a VP of customer experience I'm truly apalled at the lack of care for customer the CEO had. I spoke civilly with him over the phone several times and he kept harping on my wife instead of the faults of his employees.

My review is exactly the same as Bob's from 5 months ago. Some stars for initial response and courtesy. My new system was installed in March 2020 and in September 2021 the capacitor was bad. I also agree with Bob that the service call PLUS $108 to replace a capacitor (part under warrantee) is not reasonable. I inquired if the original part was new/good quality and sized correctly because nothing lasts forever but a capacitor failing at 18 months does not seem acceptable.

I waited over 2 weeks and never got a response when I emailed and the agent said she would forward my inquiry to the service manager. BTW I had a service call/capacitor (part not under warrantee) replaced at a different property with a different A/C vendor and the invoice was actually LESS.

I should have known the first day the sub-contractors showed up to install my new A/C unit. They damaged the first one they were installing and tried to hide it. They were trying to pull the copper line under the foundation and slipped and dented in the side of the unit. One of the techs had left his phone inside on speaker and I heard them outside talking about it.

That's when I walked outside and they were quietly trying to repair the damage. They ended up going and getting another unit. I also asked them to leave the old copper as I had another use for it. They took it with them to sell as scrap and make more money. Now just 4 years later the motor went out on my Goodman A/C unit. Supposedly due to Covid they couldn't get another motor for two weeks in the dead of summer!

I left a voicemail for the manager stating my wife had asthma and could they please just pull a motor off one of the new units and replace it when they could get a new motor. Of course not. He never even bothered to call me back That's big money they can make on a new unit so the existing customer that's already paid them is out of luck. They just want to charge $80 to diagnose then another $280 for a half hour of labor to put it in when it eventually got here. Definitely a company that only cares about money and not treating their customers right.

Our ac starting leaking in the middle of summer and the cost of repairs was so high we decided on a new ac installation instead. After some research I found Ameritech online and they had great reviews. I called and Chris Makin came out the same day within a few hours and he was so thorough and professional and really gave us the best options for our situation. The installation team was efficient and very professional. I would recommend 100%!

We had continually repaired and babied our previous low grade AC system that came with our home for six years until it finally stopped working. Ameritech came to our rescue. They provided extremely courteous service and answered all our questions from the start. They were professionals in every way. They did not try to oversell more than what we actually needed like other companies were trying to do in their quotes.

They worked under extreme heat conditions in mid-July inside our home and out. They removed the entire old unit and related machinery, replaced the heavy cement pad to a better location, and worked until well after 7 pm to follow up and make sure everything was running perfectly. They also provided us with everything we requested for paperwork to take advantage of tax credits and discounts from our utility company. We have already referred your company to other people. Alex came on time and temporarily fixed my A/C until I could buy a new one.he was great.very professional and knowledgeable. Chris Makin came out went over my options for the new unit.he explained everything that was going to happen.and was a no pressure sales person.the installation went beautifully and I was amazed that one person. Bernard?.did it all!.I highly recommend this company and Chris to anyone needing A/C or Heating services!

Superb installation by Barnabas of both of my new AC units. I love the fact that they are fully made in the USA as well. Looking forward to the next 10 years of worry free AC use because of the warranty on parts and labor. Ameritech truly delivered!

Kent appeared with his mask and went straight to work very efficiently. Ameritech installed my downstairs air conditioner 4 years ago and have continued to service both my air conditioners. Thanks for staying committed to your customers.

Hands down, I recommend this company. We have used them for years and they still continue to impress us. The response time, this last weekend, was under 30 minutes on a FRIDAY afternoon!!!! Excellent customer service is hard to find these days so it’s worth noting the companies that still excel at it. Ameritech is one of them!!

Price was competitive however service was poor. A/C was purchased and installed on 4/29/20. I had it serviced on 4/30/21 and was told that the refrigerant was a little low and that after an installation the unit adjusts to the home and needs to be "dialed in" approximately 2 weeks later. The sub cooling was 1 - 1.5 degrees and the superheat was 24 degrees. A.C. Guru recommended I call the company that did the installation and have them top up the refrigerant. Ameritech said this is not part of their service and I will have to pay for a service call to check to see if my system has a leak and that their installers would have put the correct amount of refrigerant when it was installed.

They only warranty the installation and the inspector passed the inspection. I'm not sure if the inspector tests the cooling and heating when they test the installation and I'm don't see how the maintenance company would gain by bleeding the refrigerant and then telling me to call the installer and have them top up the refrigerant since the system is new.

At this point I have to conclude Ameritech did not put the correct amount of refrigerant when they installed the A/C and handler or they sold me a defective system as refrigerant doesn't just disappear in a closed system. The system needed approximately 2 lbs of refrigerant according to the technician. Buyer beware the company might be short filling the refrigerant when they do the installation.

I will try to update this review once I confirm the refrigerant does not have to be refilled in the near future i.e. the new A/C, handler and copper pipes do not have a leak.

Starting from the on time arrival of Bob, my salesman, through to the quick, neat, professional installation I am impressed. This coming from a 35 year construction business owner. I am completely happy with the install team, the cleanliness of the jobsite and carefulness of the crew. I highly recommend AmeriTech Air Conditioning

Ameritech is a very friendly and honest company. They were promt and very professional, they explained everything and completed the the job on time! Not to mention they have great prices!

They were very prompt in setting up for service. the office and the technician both called to let us know the tech was going to be late. Once the tech arrived he began fixing our unit. it took him about an hour. He then came in to make sure the unit was working. Everyone was very courteous.

Chris Elsis was very thorough with explaining everything I needed to know when we needed new air & heat equipment. When the men came to install the equipment they were very professional and when installation was complete you would have never known that any work had been done as they cleaned up everything. Must call this company for all your sales, service and installation needs. From start to finish the customer service and installation was professional, friendly, and quick. I spoke with 3 other vendors and they were the best from the jump. My sales person was Chris, who was very friendly and knew the products to be sold. He was honest and didn't hassle me with trying to sell me the best unit.

He sold me an excellent unit to fit my family needs. Once we signed the contract they were able to install it next day but I wasn't available. They were able to install my unit on the 4th. Couldn't believe it but they finished and I was able to cool the home down before my guests arrived. Was able to leave my home to grab some things and trusted the installers with my things.

They completed the work in a timely manner and did a fantastic job. No mess was left behind. I can't wait to see the savings with my electric bill. I went from an 11 Seer to a 16 Seer unit. Thanks AmeriTech for all your hard work and professional staff.

I never, and I mean never, leave reviews for companies but I had a new unit installed today and the crew who did the work were top notch. The previous unit (installed by former owner) wasn't installed correctly which caused mold and other issues.
