Earl was a star. I assumed he was the owner based on his knowledge and willingness to make sure the job was done was done as well as possible - even exceeding my lofty expectations. Willing to do a more labor intensive repair where others had only been only willing to replace. I'll be using them in the future. FWIW I'm skeptical of glowing reviews assuming author bias, but I was in no way compensated or otherwise affiliated - just like to see good work rewarded.

Critical: Value I am worried that my warrant will not be honored. I do not think that the company assessed the quality of the equipment design and installation prior to extending the warranty. No appears to be attempting to charge me for repair after only one year of warranty Services: Repair HVAC, Thermostat repair, A/C system repair

They were fast and able to fix a problem that another local company said was unfixable. That immediately saved me the cost of a new unit. I signed up for their annual service/maintenance plan. I am glad the other guys let us down so that we could find E Smith. Our technician Kenneth was so knowledgeable and did a great job. Very pleased.

The technician, Justin, was very pleasant and prompt. He set about diagnosing my heat pump which had been making strange noises. He did a thorough job looking for lingering problems and assuring me that the compressor unit was working well. I signed up for a year of maintenance because I felt confident in their ability to keep my 3 systems working effectively.

My wife and I were expecting our first child and our heater was not working. We were past the due date and knew the baby was coming any day now and that we could not bring a child home to a frigid house. On a Monday, I set up an appointment with E. Smith for their next available slot, which would be Wednesday (48 hours away). Of course, the baby came the very next day.
On Wednesday, we had my mother drive to stay in the cold house to meet the company so they could fix our problem. We were called 30 minutes before our window to "confirm" our appointment. We were in the hospital and not able to answer until 1 hour into our scheduled window. I called E. Smith back to see why they were calling and was informed I had not confirmed my appointment (which I had made 48 hours prior) and even though I was to be available between 3-7, I could not be seen that day (it was 4 pm).
No apology or understanding. I was told I could not be seen until Friday. I told them we had a newborn and could not bring her home until this was fixed, but that did not do anything. We scheduled the Friday appointment and in the meantime called Casteel. They had a tech out Thursday and we scheduled the repair (which was actually a whole new HVAC system) for the next day. They completed the job and we were able to bring our baby home to a warm house.

Wonderful company. We have used them for years for installation and regular maintenance. Always arrive promptly, technicians are super friendly, knowledgeable and courteous! Almost always have the same technicians so they are familiar with our house and systems. Can't say enough nice things about E. Smith Heating & Air! Highly recommend.

E Smith has always been great to respond and the tech they sent out today went above and beyond. He took a great pride in his work.something you don't always see today. It wasn't JUST a job to him, he truly wanted to help and didn't leave til everything was fixed and perfect. I wish every tech out there was as caring about his job as he was. Their service AFTER the sale has been spot on!
I've used E Smith for years for servicing my system. A MONTH ago I purchased a new system from them and this was their month follow up to tweak any bugs. He found two problems and fixed them with a smile on his face. I do not get that kind of service in diff places I have to use. This tech wanted me to be satisfied before he left and made sure I was. A very pleasant experience!

I have used E. Smith for the last 10 years and purchased my lower level AC/furnace from them 9 years ago. I am very pleased with my unit and the annual maintenance service. Jeff came and did our annual service and recommended we replace our upstairs 24 years old AC/furnace. Jeff is very professional and always does a thorough job. Cara came and gave me a quote and explained the different options.
She always responded to my questions right away and scheduled my install within one week of signing the contract. Henry and another technician installed my AC/Furnace. They were very consciences with keeping the door closed since I have cats and were very helpful in explaining how to use the system. They also done a great job cleaning up after they were done.

We were extremely pleased with their professionalism, quality of work and communication. Zach, their salesman, was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and appreciated his recommendation on the system we had installed. We have found E. SMITH HEATING & AIR always to be a good, trustworthy and dependable company. However, our appreciation to them recently has moved to a much higher level. We found our basement flooded, smelling, and starting to produce mildew and mold from an air conditioning valve leak. E. SMITH immediately took action and sent a company out to. not only quickly take care of the water, but also haul off things that had water damage.
At an already stressful time, this seemed to me an insurmountable problem, but these two amazing companies cleaned it up very quickly. We VERY HIGHLY recommend E. SMITH HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING for all your heating and air conditioning needs. They are people you can count on to do the right thing.

Derrick (our sales consultant) was very easy to deal with, no high pressure to sell me equipment I didn't need. Price was lower than the 3 other quotes I already had from other vendors for the same exact system. Henry and Co. did a great job on the install, ran into a space issue with the new zoning system, but quickly found a solution. New Carrier system looks and works great. Found my new HVAC company!

From the salesman to the installers - a very high level of customer service. The installers, Derrick and John, explained in detail everything about the new system that was installed - and took time to answer all my questions. They also reconfigured the ductwork so that I would get the highest benefit from the new a.c. and furnace. I would highly recommend this company.

For a major purchase this was one of the best experiences. Sales Rep was timely, professional and knowledgeable. After getting a second quote, which was higher, I did share with him some observations made by that vendor and he had the work done at no cost to me. The installation technicians were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, neat and took great pride in their work.
